ABOUT THE CHARACTER Name: Halle Swift Age: 16 Gender: Female Year: 5th Celebrity: Reese Witherspoon
Canon or Original? Original
Facial Properties: Halle is your typical teenage beauty. She has long, blond hair with natural highlights ranging from light blond to dirty blond and falls in soft curls to her upper back. Her eyes are almond shaped and the color of the ocean, a rich blue color with gray tints in it surrounded with long, black lashes. She has a petite nose and lips that are more likely to turn into a smile than a frown. To top it off, she has creamy skin and naturally rosy cheeks. She doesn't wear much makeup and prefers to enhance her natural beauty rather than make a whole new face like some. At special occasions, like balls, she will wear more, but more often than not, she wears black eyeliner and mascara to accent her long, full lashes and some pink lip gloss.
Physique: Unfortunately for her, Halle has a slim, fragile appearance. Her small 5'3 frame gives others the impression that she needs to be protected or the opposite, is easily bossed around. She is slim, but not skinny and has modest curves that she accents by wearing skinny jeans and fitted shirts that cling to her form. However, her soft appearance is slightly obscured by the lean muscles you can see all over her from running daily and playing quidditch in her field at home. Halle likes to look good, but it is entirely for her own reasons and she hardly ever follows the fashion trends, preferring to create her own style.
Personality: Halle is a very unique girl. She always does things her own way, even if her way may be harder. Many may call this stubbornness, but she likes to refer to it as individuality. She never follows trends and could really care less what people think of her outfits. To her, personality and what's on the inside is what counts. I know, cheesy, right? This is part of her charm, though. She always acts the way she wants, treating the world more like a game than an irreversible situation that is out of her hands.
She is always relaxed and easygoing, angering very rarely, mostly in certain situations, like betrayal. If her best friend were to go out with her boyfriend behind her back, or something extreme like that. Halle takes trust very seriously and doesn't forgive easily when it comes to misusing her trust or easygoing nature. However, she believes that everyone deserves a chance at trust and is not picky when choosing friends, preferring to let them come to her.
She despises cliques and everything to do with them, so she could care less what house people are in. She treats everyone the same, judging them by how they act when they aren't putting on a show for fellow house mates. Because of this factor, she tends to be found very likable and easy to get along with. Even though she finds being friendly easy most of the time, there are special situations that anyone has trouble being kind in. Snobs are very hard for her to get along with and normally she tries to avoid them, but she can't avoid them all.
Even though Halle is quite easy going, it doesn't mean she's quiet, in fact that isn't the case at all. She is very loud, and almost always seems to be on a sugar high. If you ever wonder what will make her happy at Christmas time, it's candy. She says whatever comes first to her mind and gets in trouble often for it. She is considered witty and for those rare times when people do manage to get her hackles up, quite frightening. The temper she has is very hard to rile up, but when it does get boiling, you'd better duck in cover, because no matter who pushed her over the edge, she gets angry at everyone that tries to speak to her.

History: Having been born to Onyx and Angel Swift, even when she was young, she was easygoing, she had to be to live with two people as upbeat as her parents and not go mad. She went everywhere with them, to work, out to dinner, even car shopping when they decided to trade in one of their sport's cars for a mini-van to toat her around better. She also followed after her mother in her random tendencies. Her room was one big mess. The walls were painted blue by her grandmother when she visited and she made it quite clear that her granddaughter's room was to stay blue.
Granny Swift is not a woman to mess with; she's everything her son is not; strict, up tight, a control freak and probably worst of all, a blood traitor. Now, Halle had nothing against blood traitors, but her Granny Swift took it to a new level. She refused to do any magic and wanted to live the life of a muggle, that means doing all the 'normal' things like painting a growing girl's room blue and before that pink. Anyways, the rest of her room is far from normal. Her bed is hexagon shaped, there is a handle on the wall next to it to help Halle get up when she falls out of bed every morning, her mother tends to leave old coffee mugs and gardening toold in there, her bedside table is also a dresser, well, you get it. She grew up in the exact synonym of normal and has taken all these lessons to heart.
As she grew older, her first signs of witchcraft appeared. On one July afternoon, her parents were arguing over whether to see a movie or go swimming and Halle, showing her rare temper had wished that her parents would cool off already. Their glasses of lemonade, which were sitting on the table next to them upended themselves on her parents' heads. No need to say that stopped the arguement, but unlike Halle thought, she didn't get in trouble. Instead, her parents had both come running over and given her large, soggy hugs and telling her that her powers had finally come.
From then on, she couldn't wait until her letter to Hogwarts came and would go to her parents everyday and ask them if they had gotten it. Eventually it did come and she had gone shopping at Diagon Alley for a totally different purpose than the normal family shopping sprees. There she met her owl, Eve and got her own wand; an 11 inch holly wand with a phoenix core. A couple of weeks after that, she left for her first year at Hogwarts, of course, she forgot her Potions Book, lucky for her she doesn't really like that subject.
ABOUT YOU Name: Halle Years of Experience: A little more than 2 Sample Post:
A loud banging on her thick oak door startled her out of her nightmare of being in a square room with hot pink walls, filled to the brim with pink, frilly stuff. It was a nightmare she had often and her friends found it quite hilarious, that out of all the things to have nightmares about, hers were about pink things. Some days, she even found herself laughing at the thought of what she found scary. At this moment, however, she was not in a laughing mood. She glanced at the dark green clock on the maple bedside table and groaned aloud. She had only gotten five hours of sleep since she had been up late packing for her first day of her 5th year in Hogwarts. She had wanted to make sure she got everything this year. In her past four years at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, she had forgotten something every time. The first year, she had forgotten to get her potions book from her mum and had to struggle in that class until her parents could send it by owl. This year, however, she would have everything!
Another loud knock at her door shocked her from her memories and scared her so much that she fell out of her bed and landed on the hard wood floor of her room with a bang. She moaned and pulled herself to her feet using the bar screwed to the wall for just that purpose and shambled over to the door. Halle Swift, was not by any means a morning person and would not wake up fully for another couple of hours. After crossing her room, tripping on an imaginary obstacle and stubbing her toe on a rock from her mother's garden, she managed to yank the door open and came face to face with her father, Onyx Swift.
Halle's father had her blue-gray eyes, but instead of the blond hair she got from her mother, he had night black hair that had a blue tint to it thanks to the blue color of her walls. He grinned at his daughter, knowing full well that he had just woken her up and that she had fallen out of her bed once again. In response, Halle just yawned. After a second of silence and her staring into eyes that were mirrors of her own, she managed to mutter some jumbled words. "Wad dgo want?" Her morning jabber made his grin widen. "I was just coming to tell you that we need to leave in ten minutes to get to the platform on time." He informed her before turning on his heel and wandering downstairs where the smell of their house elf's mouthwatering waffles wafted from. She glared after him for a moment before what he said penetrated the thick stupor that enshrouded her mind every morning. Ten minutes?!
After getting dressed hastily, Halle managed to stumble her way downstairs and inhale a waffle before her parents shoved her out the door. They all loaded into the mini-van with Halle's luggage occupying the back and two of the seats and drove their way to King's Cross Station. As soon as her mum had stopped, Halle was out and beginning to unload her school necessities. Her tawny colored owl, Eve came out first and was set on the pavement of the parking lot, followed by a trunk, books and several other small bags. With her father's help, she managed to get it loaded onto a luggage cart and on her way to platform 9 3/4. After a brisk walk through the station, they came to the brick wall that led to the platform. This is it, thought Halle, I'm finally starting my 5th year at Hogwarts. She paused to remember the moment, then cautiously went through the barrier, mindful that no muggles saw her.

Okay, I really only have one thing to mention: Halle could not have gotten on “Professor” Snape’s bad side because he is a student here. Be aware that this is a Hogwarts RPG based back in 1976 – back when all the Marauders were still in school, along with all the other main adult characters from the series.
However, it’s the only flaw I can find – so, just be aware. Overall, a very nice app. ^^
