Facial Properties: Courtney is quite pretty, in her own way of course. She has an extremely pale tone of skin. Her face is also fairly well centered. Courtney's eyes are a deep blue Grey color, as well. Her face is also blemish free. Her hair rains down slightly into her face during some occasions. Her hair also does have a curly style to it, naturally. Sometimes her cheeks may have a pink hue in them, but that's just natural - especially when she blushes - nothing to worry about, though. Her face is slightly oval ish, and her eyes are almost ovalish, except that they aren't as round. Her chin isn't very sharp, and is more rounded, than pointed.
Physique: Courtney is a well proportioned young girl. She is just about five feet, eleven inches tall, almost six feet tall. Courtney doesn't weigh much either, around a hundred pounds, more or less. She has long dark brown hair that tumbles over her shoulders, even though her hair also has a lighter brown tone at times, and halfway down her back, with a slight curl in it as well. Her hands are average sized and graceful as well. Though she does have large feet, which she hates. A majority of things about her are average, like her neck and face proportion and size. She has gently sloping, lean, shoulders as well.

Personality: Courtney is fairly easygoing, in a sense that she's fairly calm. She isn't much of a troublemaker, and doesn't like to stand out. Courtney is friendly, but mess with, or make fun of, her friends and she basically will go off like a bomb, or if you insult her, that's it. Courtney's shy when you first meet her, usually, but for the most part, she will warm up to you eventually. The amount of time it takes varies, though.

Courtney has a bright personality, just because she doesn't like to stand out, doesn't mean she tries to blend into the halls, either. She doesn't see much of a point in make up, or anything else around that subject, she just thinks it's a waste of time, and that other people should see who you really are, and you shouldn't cover up your faults. Courtney is curious, and she likes to solve things, by inquiring about them, and pondering over them, so crossword puzzles are her favorite pastime.

She doesn't like to judge a book by it's cover, meaning she won't make unfair assumptions about people. She never will say that you're evil unless you give her a reason to do so. She's fair. For the most part. Courtney's only sarcastic to wards her friends, for the most part, and is calm, reserved. Like her mother is. Courtney backs up her opinions with common sense, and some facts as well. She's level headed too, and if she wins something, or whatever, she won't gloat. She'll be happy, but she won't brag.

Courtney is a warm, bright, intelligent girl, just like her mother, for the most part, but in her own way. She enjoys the company of friends, but her close friends are the friends that she can trust with any secret, that would never turn on her, unless her safety was on the line. She's harder to impress when it comes to boys, and prefers, you could say, intelligence as a characteristic. Courtney won't interrupt a fight, or barge into one unless it's something she believes in. Courtney's truthful, but if a friend tells her a secret, her lips are sealed, unless it's something she should tell a teacher. Overall she's a sweat, friendly, smart person.

History: Courtney Lynn Princeston was born to Arissa and Jakob Princeston in the winter of 1962. February 18, 1962 to be exact. Her mother loved her and was like an eagle over her, always. Courtney was an only child. Her mother was a witch, and her father was a muggle. Making her a half-blood. She was the perfect little girl that her mother had always wanted. And an only child, at that.

Courtney Lynn Princeston was a little girl that got anything she wanted. She was a pampered little girl. Her mother, who had attended Hogwarts, as a Ravenclaw, didn't give her everything she wanted when she asked for it though. Courtney learned her patience from her mother, waiting for her, anytime. Though she did get frustrated, at times, when she was young, if her mother took to long to do everything, but she overcame it as she grew up.

Her powers first came up when she was five, it was fall and the tree's leaves were falling. She loved the gold like colors on the trees, and she didn't want them to fall, and leave, and all of sudden the leaves began drifting back up and reattaching to the leaves, she called "Mama! Mama!" and her mother ran out to see what her daughter wanted, to find that the pile of leaves was off the ground and back on the tree! Magically! She embraced her daughter with a broad smile on her face. Courtney was a witch!

She was raised in a spotless house, for the most part. Courtney's mom taught her a lot though, in between clean and other things. She started learning minor spells when she was five, or, at least studying them. She studied the history of Hogwarts, because her mother wanted her to be prepared for whatever tests and quizzes the professors threw at her. Her mother had wanted to pass on all of her knowledge to her daughter, and wanted her to be able to survive on her own, figuratively, during lessons a quizzes.

Courtney never knew her classmates prior to attending Hogwarts. Her mother and father lived in the muggle world, because her father was a muggle. She didn't have many friends around in the muggle world either. If any. There had been rumors that their family was different - no one ever said in a good way or bad way - but everybody still kept their distance from her and her family from the most part. Especially when flashes of light illuminated their house, at night, at random intervals.

Her mother worked in the wizard world. So Courtney was well educated about the world - even though she had never seen it. But she was unsure, even the day she boarded the train to Hogwarts. There was a very heartfelt goodbye before she left on the train. With her screech owl, she left on the train to start her schooling career at Hogwarts. Still with the evading thought of where she would be placed when she got there, worrying over it, slightly, as well. But she managed to put a bright face on things, and hoped for the best.

Sample Post: Courtney smiled slightly to herself, staring down at her parchment, her quill held delicately in her hand. This is so easy! She thought defiantly to herself, this was meant to be challenging work that really rattled your brain and it was, easy, you could say. She knew next year wouldn't be as easy, though. Dipping her quill back in her ink as she began writing again. Her mother had taught her a lot prior to her coming to Hogwarts, just enough for her in her first year, apparently. And this was some of it.

Courtney swiped her curly dark brown hair back behind her ear, her dark blue and Grey eyes scanned her report. It wasn't that tough if you looked at it from a positive perspective. But it help that she had already learned all of the information she needed to know to write this essay. She scribbled down a finishing line quickly, her quill racing across the parchment.

Courtney glanced up from the desk she was writing at in the library. noticing the fading light, that was drifting in from the few windows located in the back of the library where she was seated. She had needed peace and quiet, and to be alone to work, that was why she was back here. Courtney quickly wiped the spare ink off of her quill and placed the cap on top of her ink well. Blowing on the parchment to make the ink dry faster, she then rolled up her parchment, after it was at least moderately dry, so it wouldn't be able to smudge anymore.

Slipping her supplies in the bag with her books and such. She stood up briskly, pushing her chair in under the desk gently, she strode toward the door. Opening it slowly, she began walking briskly down the hall, her shoes barely making any noise as she strode quietly down the hall, her brown curls bouncing softly against her back, like a drum, hurrying toward her common room, and the bed that awaited her, happy with what she had accomplished that night.

Nice application, however, it's a bit shorter than what we require. If you could expand on your paragraphs in the Personality and History sections, that would be great. We want to know as much as possible about your character. The same goes for the Facial and Physique sections - anytime we mention paragraphs in the application form, we're usually looking for a minimum of about six lines.
