Jon and one of his new best friend, Miss Emmeline Vance, exchange notes during a particularly stuffy Potions class. They end up discussing Emme's new love interest, Head Boy Ted Tonks. When Emme is shocked at Jon's casual remark that he'd been thinking of skipping class, the two begin talking about Emme's unhealthy level of stress. Eventually, Jon's able to persuade his friend both to come visit his next detention, and to join him in meditation on the following Saturday. Yay!
