This earthquake w e a t h e r has got me shaking inside-I'm high up and dry
Rosalie had a Astronomy essay due soon. Okay well a week from now, but that was soon right? So because of this, she was sitting at a table in the library, near to one of the corners of the big room. She took her time and really went into depth the topic, adding stuff here and there that wasn't even asked for. She didn't really having much else to do. Not long after starting, she realized that she was already half-way done. Astronomy was easy. She sighed and reached up to pull the hair band out of her hair, letting her dark hair fall around her shoulders.
She glanced up from her work and surveyed the library. It was almost empty. Most students had better things to do than hang out in a library, doing homework days before it was due. Though Rosalie tried hard not to think of that, it was just depressing. Suddenly she found herself standing up and heading over to the many racks and shelves of books, more out of sheer boredom than anything. She began surveying the books, many she recognized, many she didn't. She continued down the rows, looking for something that sparked her interest.
Recently she had descovered an interest in muggle books but none of them would be here at Hogwarts and she never had any free time to just enter the muggle world and find a bookstore. Then, finally spotting something she pulled it down. After skimming the pages for a few seconds she closed the book. "Boring" Rosalie muttered as she placed the book back on the shelf. She continued to look for a few minutes, but finally decided that she probably wasn't going to find anything good that she hadn't already read.
She turned to head back to wards were she had left her stuff when she completely ran into someone else, knocking their books out of their hands. "Oh wow, sorry!" She said quickly as she reached down to pick up their books. She had forgotten that she was supposed to be rude. Straighting back up, with their books in her hand, she looked at the persons face, a little horrified of her mistake.

Aceline clicked down the long corridor in her heels, her long school robes billowing out behind her, a small stack of notebooks tucked underneath her arm. On the very top of the books was a pink leather bound one-clasped with a gold clutch and engraved with A.O.P. A fuzzy pink quill sat on top of the stack of books, it’s feather blowing at the speed of the wind-a result of Aceline's constantly fast walking. Aceline was going to the library in hopes of starting her Transfiguration essay that was due tomorrow. Five hundred and sixty eight words. Aceline smiled. easy. Most people took Aceline for your typical dumb blonde, but underneath her flawless skin and long blonde hair was actually someone smart and calculating. Someone who knew what she was doing. She flipped her hair in slight annoyance as she shifted the books from under her arm. Arriet, the desperate little Slytherin wanna be who usually carried Aceline’s books had apparently ‘called in sick’ and Aceline was left to carry her own books from class to class. Oh, the horror. A frown eased it’s way onto her lips. You can’t rely on anybody but yourself, nowadays.
Entering the library, Aceline flashed a smile at the librarian, who was busy stacking books. She returned her smile, with a slightly puzzled look as to why Aceline was being nice. Aceline knew when she needed people. She just might need her later… Scanning the books quickly she ran her hand acrossed the worn, dusty, titles. Slowly, as if practiced, she picked up a rather large book with the tips of her fingers and placed it quickly on top her pile. Glancing around her, she stuck a thin, torn book, it’s pages dog eared, on the shelf in it’s place. The book didn’t really stand out against the other old books. But later that night Amberlea was supposed to come and pick it up, leaving something in return for Aceline. She smiled. Casting a glance around her she quickly exited the aisle, walking swiftly towards a table in the far back of the library.
Suddenly, without much warning, she felt something collide with her. Aceline stumbled backwards, shocked and caught off guard as her books scattered acrossed the floor. Standing there, looking quiet horrified was another Slytherin girl, quickly picking up Aceline’s fallen books and just as quickly dropping them back down again. "Oh wow, sorry!" Aceline glared at the girl, her face turned up in a snarl. She flipped her hair as she very clearly sized the girl up.
”Watch where the hell your going!” Aceline spat, bending down to quickly sweep up her pink clasped book and her fuzzy quill. ”Next time, watch where your going or your going to end up being a little more than just sorry.” Flipping her hair, Aceline stepped on all the fallen library books, not bothering to pick them up. That disgraceful girl could do that, since she could obviously do everything else.
People these days…thinking they can do anything.
