&& the-s h a d o w-of the day Will embrace the world in grey Rosalie walked into the Slytherin common room, feeling extremely annoyed. She had been in the library, attempting to find peace. Which she had actually accomplished until a group of second year girls came walking in and started giggling every freaking time a cute boy walked by. After twenty minutes of hearing this, she had stormed out while swearing she had never been that idiotic at that age. What was wrong with the younger generation?
She walked over to wards a sofa that was placed near the fire. She took a seat and threw her book bag down, causing a small noise. As she took the book she had been reading before out, she noticed that the common room was almost empty, which was different. She realized that she preferred it this way, it seemed almost comfy at the moment. Though she enjoyed the absence of the normal agitating discussions or arguments, she found herself wondering were exactly all the students were.
As she opened the book to find the page she had left off on, she remembered that it was a Hogsemead weekend. Of course everyone would be there shopping and hanging out with friends. This was almost thought with bitterness. Rosalie did have what you would call 'friends,' but considering no one really knew the real her, they weren't that fun to hang out with. This was why the seventeen year old girl was sitting down in the common room, reading a book, on a Saturday.
Rosalie read a page or two but couldn't really concentrate. She sighed as she closed her book and placed it back in her bag. After a moment of hesitation, she took out her journal. Yes, she kept a journal, which she knew was considerably stupid since she had such a huge secret. Though with all the thoughts she had that went unsaid, she had to put them somewhere. So she started writing in the only thing that may have kept her completely sane over the years, well maybe not completely.

Arrive Raise hell leave Under normal circumstances, Alecto would have been in Hogsmeade causing hell. Weird thing was that she didn't want to cause hell. What she had been doing was stocking up on sweets in Honeydukes and was now headed back to the castle. It didn't help that the weather was horrible. It was raining, as usual, causing tons of people to be inside. She didn't like being trapped in places with dozens of annoying people. No, Alecto was not claustrophobic, but she still felt like she couldn't escape. Bassically, she had Agoraphobia. If she didn't get out of here quick, she would have a panic attack or something equally horrible. Alecto, grabbed her bag of sweets and sprinted to the door, determined to leave here alive. Upon reaching the street that led back to the castle, Alecto sighed with relief. Well, the relief came when she stepped outside, now she needed to worry about the weather. It was raining so much and she had no idea what to do. A normal person would have brought an umbrella, or performed a charm to kep the water off, too bad Alecto didn't think of this. Now shwe was annoyed for letting this bit of common sense pass her. So instead, she stepped inside a store which wasn't THAT crowded. This was a mission upon itself. When it did clear up a little, the Seventh year sprinted up to the castle and down to the dungeons. The common room would be empty, hopefully and she could unwind there and devour her sweets. Quietly, she opened the door to the common room. Empty, very empty. No, not really. Rosalie was there. Alecto loved hanging around with Rosalie, but didn't feel like it today. She didn't feel like hanging around anyone really. Well, nonetheless Alecto always acted opposite to how she really felt. So, she creaped up behind Rosalie, put her hands on her shoulders and yelled, "BOO!" She had no idea where this came from, but this would be the most hell she would be raising today.

Rosalie had been in the middle of really letting her anger out on paper of the idiocy of her fellow house mates. How was it funny to trick a First Year into hurting themselves. She hadn't heard anyone come in, or approach her. So when someone suddenly yelled in her ear, she completely jumped in surprise, letting out loud yell. She dropped her quill and her journal as she turned to see who the hell had surprised her like that. Surprised to find it was Alecto, she didn't say anything for a moment.
"Trying to give me a heart-attack?" She asked, coming close to sounding rude, though she didn't intend to. Rosalie took a few deep breaths as her heart-rate attempted to slow itself down. When it had almost done the job, she spoke again in a much calmer voice. "What are you doing here?" She was curious to know why her friend had left Hogsmead so early. Then she bent down to retrieve her journal and quill. Ink was pretty much everywhere.Rosalie spoke a quick spell to clean most of it up and turned back to Alecto.

Cross my heart and hope to die Alecto laughed her sinister little laugh as she realized she really had scared Rosalie. Why she got so much satisfaction out of this, she didn't know. Ever since she could remember, Alecto loved tormenting people. Halloween was her favorite holiday just because she was able to scare the living hell out of others. Cruel? Yes. Did she care? No. It was a satisfying feeling to know that she had caused someone to have a near-heart attack. It was a satisfying feeling to know she could do something like that. It was insane, and it was not normal, but Alecto wasn't normal. "Indeed I am," she replied with a twisted smile. "Getting away from it all," she replied matter-of-factly. It was an odd thing to see Alecto away from people, especially people who were giving her attention. Not to say she was recieving attention, but in her own little world she was. And what was Rosalie doing here all alone? Shouldn't she have been down getting sweets and what-not with everybody else? Hogsmeade weekends didn't come along that often, and when one did, it was time to celebrate. It was then that Alecto noticed the diary. Automatically, interest sparked and it took a great deal of will-power to keep from reaching and snatching it. Her eyes did become about a centimeter bigger and her lips formed a round "o". The elder girl plopped herself onto the couch and tried to devise some scheme so she could read it. "What's that? Don't tell me you're missing Hogsmeade just to write?"
