Although she'd never admit it to anyone but herself, Professor Babbling was quite please - almost impressed - by this years Sixth and Seventh Years. It was obvious they cared about the subject, although she supposed that was normally the case. Students certainly wouldn't go out of their way to take such a difficult subject like Ancient Runes "just because". No, they would take it only if they were truly interested in the subject after their OWLs. It was why the class was quite small, she supposed. Not that many people continued after Fifth year, and thus she was left with the truly hard-working and passionate students. And, although she wasn't a fan of discrimination, she had to admit that the fact that the class contained Ravenclaws was encouraging and put her in a good mood already as she leaned against her desk, crossing her legs daintily at the ankles as she surveyed the classroom, her fairly expressionless face not reflecting the good mood she was in. She wasn't a very smiley professor, after all. "Good afternoon, class." she greeted once they were all settled in, nodding slightly. "Please turn to page two hundred and twelve of your textbooks so we can begin reading charts," she continued in her no-nonsense voice, peering at them expectantly.
