It can be really hard for Slytherins to make friends with people in other houses, especially in Hufflepuff. But Jada isn't intimidated by that, and she never has been. She wants to make friends with anyone who will have her. Renata is tough on the outside, but Jada thinks of her as a typical "egg." Hard on the outside but mushy in the middle. Renata is battling what's expected of her and what she wants. Jada sees more than the average girl. So when they got partnered up in potions class by a Professor, he knew what he was doing. If anone could get along with the Slytherin it was her. It was rocky at first, but eventually she broke through. Their relationship is strained for sure, but Jada isn't the type of person to give up when she sees potential.

Renata and Rose aren't exactly what you would call close. As a matter of fact, they're not really that close at all. But they're still friends, as strange as it may be for a Slytherin and a Hufflepuff to be friends. But Rose doesn't mind. She's never been one to discriminate by House unless it's obvious what type of person s/he is. To Rose, Renata seemed like a perfectly nice person to befriend, if a little rough around the edges. There is a catch, though: Unbeknown to Rose, Renata seems to like Amycus who, apparantly, has a crush on Rose. Whether this will affect their friendship...who knows? We'll just have to wait and see.[/color][/i]
