The Friend: Melody is the most devoted friend; she makes her friends into family at school. She can always keep a secret, as long as it is one that will not harm the person. She loves to have fun, playing quiditch, shopping, or just talking. As long as she is enjoying life, and with people that make her happy she is fine.

Likes: Melody likes running around in the fresh cut grass barefoot, and reading a good book while swinging in the hammock in the back yard. She loves nature, animals, trees, and the sound. She loves the wind in her hair, and having a good time. She loves music, something she shares with her mother. She learned how to play guitar at age eight, missing the sounds her mother would play.
Dislikes: Sociopaths, people who are prejudice against others, and anyone that doesn’t smile. She hates guys who flirt like crazy and girls just the same. It is annoying to listen to and just sad to watch.
History:{4+ paragraphs} Melody was not even thought about until two months after her mother and her biological mother split up. Her mother found that she was pregnant and knew that she was going to keep her child, no matter what the circumstances. At six months she met Charles Reynolds, and the two fell in love.

Charles continued to raise Melody, and raised her to be strong, and brave like her mother. He also kept the rest of the horrors of the world away from his little girl. The loss of her mother was enough horror for the young blond girl.
At school Melody became herself, she found people that made her happy, and found other activities that she enjoyed doing. She acceded in subjects that she enjoyed, making her father proud. Her life’s journey so far has already turned her into the person she was meant to become, and as she becomes more of her self even better than she thought.
ABOUT YOU
Name: Nicolette
Years of Experience: Five years
Sample Post: {4+ paragraphs} The time could not move quick enough as Melody sat bored in History of Magic. Binns was dragging on and on about the war of the trolls and wizards, again. It’s not that she didn’t care, but she couldn’t learn out of a text book. Again time dragged on as he droned on, letting her slowly fall asleep. As she began to daydream with her eyes closed, class ended, bringing her back to the fast paced world.
As Melody walked to her next class she gave smiles and hellos to her friends and acquaintances. To her, even the smallest gesture could make someone’s day that much better. She made her way down the next corridor and walked into her charms classroom. She smiled as she took her seat between her two friends and took out her books.
Class began again, only this time she didn’t fall asleep. She could never sleep during such a fun class like charms. She got through class after answering a few questions, and getting most right. She was glad that she had looked over the material the night before because it was a difficult charm.
The lunch bell rang and she rushed to the Great Hall. She had missed breakfast that morning and needed food as soon as possible. She took a seat at the long table and began to pile food on her plate. Her friends followed, only after commenting on the mountain of food on her plate. “I missed breakfast, I am starving.” She said and began to eat.
