→ Emmeline Vance !
It's really no surprise that Emmeline is getting this award. I mean, from the day Arti made her, I knew this character deserved some sort of award. Not only is this charrie completely amazing and original, but Arti has obviously put a lot of work into her. I mean, look at her c-log - it's crazy organised and full of graphics. I know if any of my c-logs required me to open up Photoshop every time I need to add someone in, I'd never update it, but this girl's c-log is almost always updated! And then there's her diary which I, personally, absolutely love. It's so neatly laid out and also full of graphics and it's always up-to-date! Her tracker - yet another thing that's all graphic-y and always updated! So yeah, Arti deserves this award, if only because she's put a crap ton of work into Emmeline. But that's not the only reason why she deserves this award! Oh no, of course not! Emmeline herself is an amazing character, one that you can relate to in more than one way, whether because she reminds you of what you were like in that age - flighty and cheery and unsure and secretly insecure - or whether she reminds you of what you're like now. She's totally original and definitely not your average sweetheart Hufflepuff - while she is a complete sweetheart, she's still a bit selfish and bitchy at times. In other words? She's not a perfect character. She has flaws, just like anyone else, and that just makes her that much more of an awesome charrie. Two thumbs up to Arti for creating such a fabulous charrie!

Oh, Emmeline. Arti is amazing with all her characters, but especially Emmeline. Yeah, Emme can be neurotic and self-centered and a little crazy and frightening and dramatic sometimes, but she's a fifteen-year-old girl. That's just another Monday. She's a popular little try-hard who tries too hard and exhausts herself, but she keeps going. Emme walks the line between working hard to please others and working hard to please herself. But even when you roll your eyes at her drama-queen remarks, she goes and does something completely different, something purely out of affection for a friend that reminds you of why you love her. Even though she strives to be popular, you can tell that with Emmeline, she's not just making friends for the sake of having friends. She cares deeply about every single one and she doesn't discriminate with any of them, and that's what's important. She can act like a spoiled little princess, but inside she's just an insecure little girl trying to be happy. She's absolutely adorable and loveable, even at her worst, and Arti does a fantastic job of playing every single side of her.

Because it's Arti! Well, no, seriously? She's Hufflepuff's sweetheart! She's caring and you can identify with her as a girl on so many levels, which means she's not one-dimensional. She's got spunk, but there's also a slight insecurity and when it comes to romance? Hardly anyone couldn't identify with what she's gone through. She's a strong, prominent figure and she's a girl that sometimes we wish we were and other times...we wish we could shake some sense into her. There's always something up with her and you can only wait to see what's gonna happen next (;
