Oh, Claire Bear is just the cutest little thing everrrrr! Seriously, she's ADORABLE. I don't care if she's older than me, I always feel like she's younger. She's just the type of girl that you wanna hug and pinch their cheeks - I know, weird right? But I just always get that impression from her. I met her my first year here in Hogwarts, and we're not that close at all, but we get along just fine! I'm not gonna lie, it's not like she's a trusted friend or anything, but then I don't have many of those anyways so its not like that's a bad thing! She's just great to be around. I mean, seriously? Oh Clairebear. Even though she is a year older than me, I love this girl to death! She makes me smile allll the time, and she is alwaaaaays there for me. Haha, oh Claire Turner. I'm happy to say that we're friends. We're in the same house and year, so of course I know her just a little. Even if we were in different houses, I'm sure we'd know each other, since we have a lot of the same friends. I'm sure Claire has a lot of friends. But really, it's hard to not like her. She's so sweet and cute and bubbly and kind to everyone and she's smart and romantic and she's really pretty too and... okay, I admit it. Last year, I had just a little bit of a crush on her. It was a silly thing and didn't last very long, I guess because I was too shy to act on it and besides, we don't know each other too well, so I wasn't sure what she'd think about me actually liking her that way. Claire....this girl is probably one of the sweetest girls on the planet. She's so kind-hearted and optimistic and it's really great to have people like that in the world, you know? We became friends way back in first year - you know, we might not be in the same house but we still had quite a few classes together - and I don't remember anymore exactly what was said or anything but it wasn't too far into the school year before I could consider Claire one of my good friends. Claire Turner, the voracious reader, the dreamer! Ah, she and I go way back. Back to first year, in fact, when I saw her sitting alone outside with a lone Heliopath circling her head as she read. She’d been propped up against a tree by the lake and I approached her cautiously, not wanting to alarm the Heliopath, but ended up tripping on a root and falling face-first into her book! How’s that for an entrance? Anyway, after I apologized and wiped the saliva from her pages, we had a nice discussion about the Heliopath around her head. And the best part was that she believed me! Next to Triple L, that’s never happened before! A girl, a real, live, breathing girl that wasn’t Triple L, actually thought, actually listened to me ramble on about Heliopaths! I’m sure I rambled, too, for I was so excited that she cared about them that I may have gotten a little over-zealous about the whole thing. Either way, our chat was quite lovely and lasted until well after the sun had set. I escorted her back to the Hufflepuff Common Room and we both agreed to meet later and continue our discussion. Which we did, the next day after my Charms class and her Herbology class. We convened in the Great Hall and, over a delightful snack of bread pudding, discussed the merits of Heliopaths, Crumple-Horned Snorkacks, Nargles... I even introduced her to Fife and Filo (who adore her, by the way)! I believe it is safe to assume that Claire Turner was the most well-read person I had ever come across. She was learned in the lore of the Nargles, knew of the RRT... she was fascinating, utterly and truly, and I will never stoop to value her as less than one of my greatest confidantes. Besides, who else can claim that they knew the innermost thoughts of Xenophilius Lovegood? Not many, not many.

Sweet little Claire. We ran into each other during third year, well, her second, and there was just something about her that stuck a chord with me. She is quiet and easy going like I am, or at least she is around me, and I feel very protective of her. She is just so adorable, I can't help but be on her side. She isn't the kind of girl to aggravate me or push me to talk and I love that. I am comfortable with her. Anything she needs, I'll give it to her.
