Canon or Original? Original

Facial Properties: Pippa has medium-length dark brown (almost black) hair. She also has a petite nose that is aligned with freckles and dark brown eyes that look golden when the light hits them just right. Her ears stick out a little too far for her tastes, but everyone tells her they don't.
Physique: Pippa has always struggled with her weight, feeling as if she is too thin, although her physicians have repeatedly told her that she is 'average' for a 5'3" girl of sixteen. She is extremely tiny and has always tried to make herself feel taller by wearing heels. Pippa also has a tattoo of a small heart with wings on the inside of her left wrist, which was a testament of her independence towards her parents.

Boggart: Pippa's boggart is a giant spider. Sounds cliche', but it's the one thing Pippa fears the most; she is deathly afraid of them.

Personality:
Pippa Cross is unlike any other girl you will ever meet. She is stubborn to the point of just walking off when she doesn't get her way. She will argue with you until you are blue in the face just to show you that her opinion is right- even if she doesn't believe in the opinion she is giving. Pippa loves to debate, but is somewhat ignorant to others opinions; meaning, if Pippa thinks you're wrong, you're wrong.

Pippa is loyal to the extreme. When she becomes friends with someone, she will have their back until the very end, even if what her friend is doing is wrong. She will always stick up for what she believes in, and will never let someone be bullied in her presence. On that note, Pippa is a jokester, but will never cause harm to those around her. If she feels like her pranks might endanger the victim in any way, she will decided against the idea.

Pippa hates to be ignored- isolation is something she had to go through as a child, and never wants to relive it. She will do anything in her power to make people happy, and will always seek out the person she is having a conflict with to talk it out. She loves music and everything related to it, being a singer herself. She is known to be humming a tune down the hallways on her way to class, and wishes Hogwarts would do some kind of a musical production- starring herself, of course. She is rarely seen without a pad of paper, and is normally scribbling down lyrics of some sort (but she will rarely ever reveal her lyrics to anyone).

Pippa is a family person, and even though her parents get on her nerves at times- like all parents- they are her number one fans. She knows she can tell them anything and they won't judge her, which is something she has always relied on. She would do anything for her brothers and knows that they would do the same for her, although they are a few years apart. Pippa is very ambitious and has always had the goal of becoming a famous singer after school. She is head-strong and can get a little annoying at times, but is overall extremely caring and sweet.

History: Pippa was born in Venice, Italy (where her mother originated from). She lived there until she was three years old, moving back to London when her father acquired a job at the Ministry of Magic, working in the Muggle Studies department. Her mother soon found a job at a nightclub, becoming their main singing attraction- which inspired Pippa to be a singer herself.

When Pip turned six, her mother had another addition to the family, giving birth to twins: her baby brothers, Dante and Lucca Cross. Although they fought, as all brothers and sisters do, Pippa grew up with an extremely good relationship with her brothers, and would do anything for them. Pippa is closer to Lucca than she is to Dante because Lucca is the sweeter of the two. However, Dante inherited their mother's musical genes, just as Pippa did, so she feels a connection with Dante in that aspect.

Pippa loved animals growing up (and still does), and her most exciting moment happened when she was ten. Her parents had decided that she was finally old enough for an animal, so she went with them to pick one out. She purchased a female Welsh Corgi puppy, naming her Georgianna (Georgie, for short). However, she couldn't bring her baby with her to Hogwarts the next year, so they bought her a surprise gift in Diagon Ally. It was her new baby barn owl, Pudge. Pippa can be seen stroking and talking to Pudge on occasion.

Although Pippa is an extremely caring person now, there was a period in her life where she cared about no one but herself. An acting out period, if you will. She was fourteen, and was constantly bickering with teachers (to whom she has apologized to now). She also was partying all the time, and although she still likes to party now, she developed a reputation as being slightly wild. When Pippa lost her first, and only so far, boyfriend because of the way she had been behaving, Pippa started to see how she was affecting the people around her. This straightened her attitude on everything, and made her who she is today.

Pippa walked through the halls of Hogwarts, minding her won business without really paying attention to her surroundings. She was wondering how her family was doing, as she had not heard from them yet since the start of the school year. She shook her head, ridding all thoughts of her home life for the moment.

Continuing on, she turned down the hallway that led to her common room. She vaguely recalled telling someone she would meet them in the common room, but she couldn't remember who it had been. Was it Regina? No, she had Qudditch practice that night... Maybe it had been Odette... No, she had plans with her boyfriend that evening.

Pip shrugged, telling herself that whoever it was would find her. She skipped to her dorm room, finding her acoustic guitar and heading back down to the fairly empty common room. She began to play one of her favorite tunes, Dancing With Myself, unaware of the pair of cold, ice blue eyes watching her from a distance...

Pippa's app is really interesting and she seems like a neat character but unfortunately, I'll have to ask that you try and expand on your paragraphs for her personality and history - six lines is usually the minimum standard. We want to know more about what she's like, where she came from, what her life was like growing up, all that kind of stuff! So once you beef that up a bit, I'll be more than happy to take another look.

Unfortunately, I still don't feel that those sections are quite long enough for me to be able to accept her. You might want to take a look at some of the accepted applications just to get a feel for it or see what people talk about. Really dig deep into you character, we want to know as much as possible about her so that we can sort her. And as for her history, think of what else you can talk about - the first time she showed her magical abilities, etc. Whatever works for you but I will ask that you try again to lengthen your paragraphs, please (:
