Once upon a time, not so long ago, Isabella Swan and I were actually friends. Of course, as all tales go it didn't last very long and something happened. People came between us, and perhaps both our stubborn prides but we are no more. She really ticks me off sometimes, because she feels like she always has to be right. Now she's decided that it's her duty to hate me and be my arch enemy (take a number darling) and she does it rather well. I mean, Bella is friends with Pierre and J, and I'm friends with Pierre and J, so we would have ended up meeting sometime and, as it is, we DID end up meeting, and we were just brought together more than once whether it was by J or by Pierre, plus I'm in a couple of classes with Bella and all. Now that I'm done with the how-we-ended-up-meeting-and-becoming-friends, I think it's safe to say that Bella and I are pretty good friends right now. I mean, we just get along so well. We're really alike, you know? At least, according to our mutual friends we are. I don't particularly know why, although I think Pierre mentioned something about the both of us being Drama Queens? Pfft, as if! Anyways, the point IS, Bella and I are good friends. We don't hang out or talk that much, but we do occasionally see each other and when I do see her, I often have a great time, haha. I knew Bells waaaay before we dated. Well, okay, know is such a strong word. I recognised her in classes, knew her by firs' name, aaand that was pretty much it, and we mighta gone our whole life in Hogwarts bein' on first-name basis only. But then one day, around the end of September, beginning of October, our fifth year, a Care of Magical Creatures lesson - I'm sittin' there, bored out of my facking mind, letting my partner attempt to weedle these boring creatures that have no business being called magical because, honestly, Flobberworms are the most non-magical, non-interestin' creatures ever - but I digress. So I'm just sitting there looking around when suddenly I hear this girl and she's talking. Tha' wouldn't be so strange, only she was talking to her Flobberworms. I don't remember exactly what Bella was saying, but it was pretty hilarious. I think she was trying to convince them to eat or something. Anyway, I realized that I just had to get to know this girl who'd have absolu'ely no problem what-so-ever talkin' to a creature that obviously was not going to respond. And yeah. That's how I "officially" met Isabella Swan. The details are sketchy after that - God did not gift me with a very good memory, I suppose - but we ended up datin', and it was pretty great. She was my firs' real girlfriend. Why? Well, because she was the firs' one I had sex with. Jaysus, sorry, was that too blunt? I mean, she was the firs' girl I ehhh slept with? Made love with? Anyways, whate'er. It was my birthday, we'd been datin' for a coupla months aaand yeah. I took to calling her Pumpkin since I tend to give people random nicknames. I think she didn't take it too well at firs', though' I was callin' her fat or somethin', but I explained to her that I was going on Pumpkins-are-cute-and-sweet or somethin' and she eventually accepted it. Anyways. Bella and I lasted about six or seven months, give or take a few weeks. We broke off on mutual terms and to this day she's my longest lasting relationship. -Laughs- We're still good friends, since I don't believe in the whole ex-es-can't-be-friends stuff. And from I have seen of her, she seems really nice. She has so many friends and I mean, if she wasn't nice she definitely wouldn't have so many friends. She just seems really outgoing, almost intimidatingly so! Not in a bad way, though, that's not what I mean! But she also gets along with lots of people and that's where I can sort of relate, I suppose? I don't know but I do relate in some way, at least. Either way, in sum, Bella seems really, really nice and even if I barely know her, I can't help but consider her a role model of sorts, as far as role models go.

It really started off as nothing. Sure, people call it 'acquaintances', but when you come down to it, they represent nothing. Knowing someone's name doesn't give you anything. Not knowledge, not comfort, not anything. But if I must, Bella and I were acquaintances at best. I knew her name and she knew mine. What else? Nothing. That was how things had been going, and probably would've still be that way, had she not seen me pulling off a stupid stunt at the Quidditch pitch one random day during lunch break. What was she doing there? I didn't expect to find out, really. Everyone's entitled to be where they want to be. Except I did find out. And life's not as rosy colored as people make it out to be. I knew that. But I didn't know that she knew that. And so a surprising afternoon began. She revealed to be more than what meets the eye, and proved to have more guts than this so called Gryffindor here. Unlike me, Bella has the ability to trust still. I knew Bella awhile before I actually knew her, does that make sense? It doesn't? Meh, you're a slow one. We were acquaintances, and for awhile she was just that girl that scored higher and had more friends than anyone else. Last year was when I really started seeing her, I must have been an idiot before that point. We started talking and you know, she wasn't half bad. Sure she was quirky and opinionated, and did she have some values, but maybe that's exactly what I needed. I fell for her, I know weird right? And we casually started dating. Bella really became my best friend, of course I didn't tell her. I liked her, but I figured it was good not to let her know how much. Maybe, just maybe, I shouldn't have cracked so many jokes. I didn't tell her where we stood, and she hung out with other guys a lot. I found out I had to leave Hogwarts, and I took it out on her so she wouldn't miss me while I was gone. We finally expressed that we loved each other, and I've thought about her every day since. I promised her we'd see each other again one day, but it's not true. I want her to move on and live her life. I want what's best for her, and it's not me.

Girls’ an irritant. I was just having fun with some of the guys – you know, regular torture session on some innocent bystander that had it come’n to ‘em – and Swan decides that’s not acceptable I guess. She stole my wand and boy, did I want to kill her. Still do. She’s on my growing hit list of course, but I rather enjoy watching her mope of her boy toys so it’s the only reason she’s still living. Otherwise? Yeah, she would have been gone age ago. It’s a love-hate relationship between us, you know, all that stuff. Ha.

At least she talks, that's a start. Most Hufflepuffs seem to be frightened little creatures that never crawl out of their holes. I faintly remember once pushing her down the stairs.....but I can never be certain. She gets brownie points for having such a good taste in name. However in the end, I have to say we've hardly spoken. We'll see.
