HARRY POTTER THE EXHIBITION

Ohmygosh, ohmygosssssh. So I was in Toronto yesterday and the day before and we went to the Ontario Science Centre (this big museum-thingy with like everything) Tuesday afternoon 'cause we'd heard they had a Harry Potter exhibit thing. Oh my god. Oh my god. It was so cool and like my dad took me, my sister, and her friend and they're both like super Harry Potter fans too so we were all like squealing and jumping up down and just like saying "oh my god" over and over again 'cause like s;ldksldsd okay. It's basically this big exhibition in the museum with all these actual costumes and props and neat stuff from the movies. First, while you're waiting to go in, they take a few volunteers up to sort them. Yes. Sort them. My sister, her friend, and I all went up and I mean, they just put the hat on your head and a voice randomly calls something out (or if, like my sister's friend, you say what you think you'd be, it goes with that) and it doesn't really have anything to do with you but it's still like the coolest thing ever 'cause you're sitting on this stool and they put the hat on your head and and -dies- My sister was a Ravenclaw, her friend a Slytherin, and me a Gryffindor. Hehe.

So then anyways, you go in the actual exhibit (the person who did the Sorting points her wand at the doors and says Alohomora and they open -giggles-) and they have all these displays showing costumes and stuff and like, they had the begs from the Gryffindor dormitory and Ron's bed from the Burrow and some of the casual clothes worn by Harry, Ron, and Hermione in the movies, as well as their school robes. Like. The actual costumes. From the movies. They also had the Azkaban clothes worn by Bellatrix lksdlsjdslk and these tattered robes worn by Voldemort and some clothes worn by Sirius in OotP at Grimmauld Place and it was just like sdlskds SO COOL. 'Cause some of the outfits are really recognizable and like they had the costume Hermione was wearing in the scene in PoA where she punched Draco heehee and they had Umbridge's little pink outfit and her whole office set-up with the kitten plates and her wand and her creepy quill with the 'I Must Not Tell Lies' parchment. And they had outfits from like everyone: Neville, Ginny, Remus, Parvati, Trelawney, everyone's Yule Ball outfits. And they had Snape's robes too as in FIEF, THE ACTUAL CLOTHES ALAN RICKMAN WORE, YES, AND NO, I DID NOT TOUCH THEM, YOU WEREN'T ALLOWED TO. Although me and my sister's friend did touch the wardrobe the boggart came out of quickly just to say we did bahaha. And omgosh they had like these hoops set up and you could throw quaffles through them and it was the coolest thing ever sldkslfhjdksf like QUIDDITCH! Even if we weren't on broomsticks or whatever. Still cool. They also had a bunch of Quidditch props from the movies, and the robes worn by the Irish and Bulgarian teams in the World Cup in GoF.

Annnnd that's not nearly it, ohmygosh. They had like a billion of the Educational Degrees up in one area and they had WANTED posters for Bellatrix Lestrange, Amycus Carrow, and Alecto Carrow -giggles- Also Fenrir Greyback but obviously I found the first three more amusing on some levels. AND OMG OMG. THEY HAD ONE OF THE "HAVE YOU SEEN THIS MAN?" SIRIUS BLACK WANTED POSTERS UP. THEY SOLD MAGNETS OF IT IN THE GIFT SHOP. I MAY HAVE GOTTEN ONE -COUGHS- And oh oh oh!!! They had RITA SKEETER'S NOTEBOOKS, A BUNCH OF THEM, AND THEY HAD HER /QUILL/ AND AND AND YEAH -DIES-

They also had this huge pawn from the McGonagall's Wizard Chess challenge in SS and they had the ANGEL OF DEATH STATUE FROM THE GRAVEYARD SCENE IN GOF LIKE THE ONE HARRY GETS PINNED BY OMGOSH. AND THEY HAD THE TRIWARD CUP AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE CASE AND ALL THE LITTLE PIECES OF PAPER WITH THE CHAMPION'S NAMES ON THEM. HARRY AND KRUM AND CEDRIC'S LITTLE SCRAPS AND FLEUR'S LITTLE BLUE FAN THINGY. There was sooooo much stuff oh my gosh, I can hardly remember it all and you weren't allowed to take pictures or anything. What else, what else, oooh! They had a little set-up of Hagrid's hut with a bunch of the stuff from there and it was so cool 'cause it was like you were in the Hut and then they had models of like Buckbeak and mandrakes (you got to pull them out of the pot and they made wailing noises),centaurs and the Cornish pixies and all of Gilderoy Lockhart's stuff, they had all his books haha, it was great. And they had the Quibbler with Luna's little spectrespecs and like.... it was just so cool. And I seriously needed to spazz about all that and thought that you guys would definitely appreciate it all more than some people bahaha. But in sum, uhhh, IT WAS LYKE SO COOL. OHMIGOD.
