Friends/Acquaintances. It's a general certainty that most people will be friendly with Ted. He's not exactly closed off, and he likes socialising in general. It was what made him Head Boy, really; he's very approachable and surprisingly accepting regardless of age, House or status, and once you get past his size, it's difficult to find him genuinely intimidating or off-putting.

Enemies. He'll have them. Everyone has them. Probably not too many in the literal sense, unless you find him too easy-going or his cheek too annoying, lazy or something. In general, most against Muggleborn wizards are likely to come under the radar of enemy; he doesn't exactly take being called a Mudblood lying down.

Lovers. It's highly likely Ted has had past relationships; he's a warm, friendly sort, after all, and certainly not shy. He puts his everything into his relationships, after all. He's even got his own charm. Currently, though, he's nursing quite a flame - and a very unworthy feeling one - for Andromeda Black, and as he's not the type to go screwing with people's hearts, it's highly unlikely that he's going to commit to much of anything unless he gets over Andi. You'd have to be highly, highly persuasive, unfortunately.

welcome to iss, spooky!!!! it's so great to have you!!! and i loooove your ted, he's fabulous <3 names link to apps, i finally made the effort of going and finding them~
[/url][/center] okay, so this is lily evans. please don't read the app i wrote it a hundred years ago and it's so gross. i think, if they ever met when she was back in school, she would really love to be his friend. he's so much more relaxed than her and she likes to surround herself with relaxed people so she feels less high-strung haha. [/color][/url][/center] um idk gabby's a fifth year hufflepuff and a muggle born and she's very shy and introverted but, weirdly enough, she really likes tall people. her best friend, gideon, is, like, practically a giant. mostly she likes to befriend them so that later she can climb them. she likes climbing people and hanging onto their backs, it makes her feel tall~ since she's like not even five feet lmfao. so um yeah if they ever happen to cross paths and become friends expect her to climb him a lot. [/color][/url][/center] this is benji! he's a ravenclaw sixth year, and a prefect, so they're bound to know each other since ted's head boy and all. benjamin was really good friends with the last ted and he seems to be lacking in friends right now. he's introverted and prefers to watch people for a while before he decides to approach him, i think he'd warm up to ted pretty quickly. they don't have to be bffs or something but i think they'd get along really well -nods- [/color][/url][/center] idk kieran's a huge trouble makers, the marauders were pretty much his idols annd he wants to carry on their legacy~ now that they're gone lmfao so ted has probably caught him wreaking havoc when he's patrolling or something. [/color][/url][/center] okay, so alice would adore him, basically. she's really easy-going and flirty and would have probably started flirting him from the summer she came back all prettified~ and what not. sooo maybe they dated for a little while in their fifth/sixth year or something and now they're just friends? idkidk she just likes him a lot ok. IAN FLEMING: Haha, it was weird, when I was reading your Ted's profile, I kept thinking he had similarities to Ian. I dunno if you'll think so, but you can check out his profile to see. Anyway, this one is Muggle-born and lives on a farm with his uncle. His real name's Sebastian (LOL, sometimes I forget that) but most people know him as Ian. Uh... one of his best friends is Jooj's Benjamin Burke *points upward*. He's currently romantically involved with Wendy Palmer, but there's trouble between them on the horizon, haha. Oh, yes, he runs Riding Club with Didi's Imogen Sauveterre, one of his other best friends.
FABIAN PREWETT: No, I'm not copy/pasting this from Lyly's plotting thread, what are you talking about? He's recently graduated (former Gryffindor), currently training to be an Auror, and recently recruited into the Order of the Phoenix (secret, shh!). His best friend is Frank Longbottom. He's a pureblood and proud of it, but he doesn't have problems with Muggles or Muggle-borns, and he doesn't think it's right to hurt people over it. Fabian is assigned to a patrol every month during the students' Hogsmeade weekends, and he also visits Hogwarts a lot to see his brother and friends, so that's probably when interaction would be most likely to happen.
Ugh, I'm totally out of ideas for specific interactions, but let me know what you think. 
Oh, wait, I thought of something! Fabian works out a lot, so if Ted's interested in slimming down a little, Fabian would be willing to help.  |

welcome to the site! <333 and glad you decided to join! C: beautiful profile, by the way <3. he's so much like tonks OTL;; as for these two... do you have any thoughts? for me, i guess i see them as always having known of/noticed one another, but probably not interacting much until they got older (became prefects...or something?). you mentioned he's not a genius, but perhaps there's a class where the two competed for grades in during their younger years (though he probably didn't take it very seriously, but she did of course). i also think someone had to show her that mudblood is actually a hurtful word-- because growing up with it, she probably never realized it was derogatory until coming to hogwarts. just a thought there. everyone in her world used it so casually. as for now-- andromeda has been and is starting to see that she will likely make a split from her family, because she does not support the pureblood values terrorizing but at this point...she's not ready to make a move yet. holding her cards, if you will. she's very serious but ted could probably make her laugh xD. anyway, i don't know. obviously. rambling. but now that they are headboy and headgirl, they do have to spend a lot of time together and probably get to know one another better. maybe just thread and see how it goes? <3 what are your thoughts/ideas?

I have absolutely no problems with them being friends and neither does Ted. He's most definitely the sort you want around so you don't start taking the world too seriously, and I doubt he's so easy-going that he'd annoy Lily with it; he knows when to be serious, though of course, he enjoys making people laugh. I imagine when she got/gets all high-strung and pacey or what have you, he'll listen and let her rant until she chills out, though he'll have been hard-pressed to keep a straight face if/when she rants/ranted about James Potter. He's also likely to join the Order once he's graduated, so it'll be good to have others around for the support network. I just remembered they're also both Muggleborn, and have no doubt had their share of experiences with just how much that can suck. Also, they both like Charms, yes?
In short, I vote friends, for sure.

Ted is the eldest of four siblings. All three of his younger siblings are girls - Darcy, Keira and Clementine. Thus, it is wholly possible for him to have interacted with Gabriella, and if so, definitely friends. He's pretty much a Ravenclaw with a side of Hufflepuff himself, so I've always seen him interacting very well with the badgers of the school. He's already got the big brother protective instinct naturally going for him, too, and as she's so small and shy and introverted and younger, he'll naturally be drawn to that instinct with her anyway. I definitely don't mind them being good friends; he'll certainly look out for her, or do his best to.
And to reiterate, Ted has three little sisters. And he is big. And tall. He's used to being turned into a jungle gym. xD

Yes, yes. OMG YES. She's like his complete same in disposition. Perhaps that's partly why, if they dated, they let it fizzle out in the first place? They really are both very alike, almost too alike - being young, that might have attracted them to each other in the first place, while also being the catalyst behind why they parted ways. Though like you seem to, I don't think they'd have done so on harsh terms either; it was a pretty amicable split, and they remained close friends, right? Probably still flirt a bit on occasion, but otherwise, enjoy the friendship for what it is. Hec, I was thinking too, and what if some of the reason they split was because she figured out that he was really sweet on Andromeda? Alice seems like such a good soul; I love the idea of her maybe being the one to break the truth to him sort of kindly but firmly, or something. Helping him see it for himself and all that. Another reason for them to maintain their close friendship, I think.

They can be friends, for sure. Ted loves horses; he grew up in an area where they were quite a focus, though he never competed himself. He was the type more likely to amble about on a pony down and up country lanes, but given the chance, he probably has joined the Riding Club and will when i get time to sign up. They also share a dislike for their full names, apparently, and between that and being mates with Benji, I can see them as friends. It's not as if Ian's much of what Ted dislikes in a person, with their similarities.

Ahem, anyway, that all works. They might not be bosom buddies, but I'm sure they get on. I'm debating on whether or not Ted might end up part of the Order post-school, but if he does, it'd help to know Fabian. Ugh. Like, seriously, WTF. He just went all stupid on me. Damn that heart and it's flut, flut, fluttering. I'm pretty sure if he's not in love, he's going to be soon, and that annoys the bejeezus out of me, because it's sending me into the sort of catatonic state that usually only Remus/Tonks can pull off. and we all know how useless i become when that happens. But ANYWAY...he's probably always noticed her, for a start. And if they competed in any subjects, it was probably Charms and by god he would have enjoyed watching her fume when he beat her because she is so cute when she's pissed off. I imagine he probably started genuinely crushing on her when they were named Prefects, though, and considering how often Prefects need to interact, I also imagine they've had a lot of time to interact as such between carrying out their Prefectly duties.
He sort of doesn't think he's good enough for her, which is why he hasn't made a move yet, though on the same side of the coin, I imagine that considering her growing estrangement to her family, she might find him intriguing attractive in that way, perhaps? He's definitely close to the opposite of what she's grown up used to, and yes, he would do his damnest to make that so-serious face of hers crack a smile every time they're together. And yes, I can see her learning just how hurtful the term Mudblood is from him; he wouldn't explode or nothing, but it would be a very pointed reaction if the word ever slipped out of her mouth in his hearing. Hec, I'm all for him being her new point of view over such things over the years they've interacted, if you like.
good god throw him some kind of bone or hint or sliver of hope. he's being utterly pathetic and puppy-eyed.

IAN & TED: Ian doesn't dislike his full name, really, but he's been going by his nickname for a long time and he identifies more strongly with it. Friends, yay! Whoo, Riding Club! Oh, yeah, Ian also likes to read a lot (LOL, his owl's name is d'Artagnan and he has a horse at home named Othello) and can often be seen doing so, but I'm not sure if Ted has an interest in literature or would want to talk to him about it?
FABIAN & TED: Sounds good. Oh, yes, I forgot! I dunno if your Ted's interested in writing, but the previous Ted wrote for The Hogwarts Herald (there's a board for it around here somewhere) and interviewed Fabian for the Christmas issue. The interview's here if you wanna read it. That's a possibility for previous interaction, if it fits your Ted. |

D: i prefer muppet kthx. <3 AND i wrote a response to your thread and then you posted ANOTHER-- so... i don't have time to change it so she spends a lot of time thinking about constellations...during... the day. i think the idea of competing in charms is good-- gives them a reason to interact in their younger years. sounds good-- all of it. she probably noticed him too as a prefect, but as nothing more than friend-- and even that she would probably be afraid to do what with all the politics (and her sister bella-- DONTHANGWITHMUDBLOODS). i think it's a complicated (which is why its so fun <3). i think she changes her mind, fundamentally because those ideals are not who she is, but she leaves them all together for ted. annnnyway, best to thread it out <3 |

First we have Calixto (“Cal”) Bailer, 6th year Hufflepuff, pureblood, Chaser on the Quidditch team, and extreeemely friendly. He loves people, and he’s a complete people-pleaser, although it’s recently gotten him into a bit of trouble. He can be fairly clueless about a lot of things also. If they both like socializing, maybe Ted and Cal know each other? Maybe be friends? Cal likes friends. Lots of friends. Soo yeah tis up to you and whatever you think!
Daciana Gamp is my 5th year Slytherin. She’s a pureblood cheerleader, hypocritical brat, and a half-in-denial, half-reluctantly-being-driven-crazy-by-her-feelings, wholly closeted lesbian. So yus. She…she’s a bitch. I’m going to go out on a limb and say that she wouldn’t love Theodore. She tries to stay away from mudbloods her words although she’s kinda bad at it.Daciana doesn’t really get along with a lot of people, let alone ~non-purebloods…but if you have ideas, let me know! She does love a good spar. Verbal, physical, or magical.
And Milie &/or Lena Gunabie. 4th year Gryffindor, keeper on their team, half-blood, crazypants. She had a traumatic experience when she was little, and so she kind of has a split personality. Most of the time she’s “Milie,” but sometimes she’s “Lena.” Annnd both personalities refer to themselves in third person. Which, obviously, is kind of weird. For one, Milie really likes Ted! Teddy! Teddybear! And she wants a piggyback ride from him. Ahem. She’s laid back sometimes, other times a total spazz sooo tis up to you :]

Friends, definitely. Ted likes friends too. Maybe not buddy buddies, but I see absolutely no issues with them being friends. Ted would probably take pity on him at times if he's so clueless, as he's pretty much the opposite don't let the laidback look trick you.

You had him at the word "mudblood". As you can guess, it's like, his one Beserk Button EVAR. He can barely even get by it being implied though part of that is because of his own feelings for and especially his feelings of inadequacy about Andromeda, poor baby. Even that aside, if she's a hypocrite, that's one less thing he really doesn't like about people. Unfortunately, I just got off a full day and night of duty, so fun sparring escapes me. xD;

Ted already finds her entirely intriguing. Very interesting, never knowing which personality you're going to get provided one isn't a total murderous mental case LULZ. Also, I've given up on trying to convince him he can't have every girl in the school glomp him; he's such a big brother, you see, and she is younger, adorable - SO ADORABLE - and did I say adorable? She can piggyback to her heart's content, though he may blush till his ears burn off if she squeals TEDDYBEAR across a crowded hallway. Also, she sounds a bit like the next sister below him in age - Darcy - so it'd be impossible for him NOT to like her, and want to give her a hand if she ever needs it. <3

she would probably know ted. she's a ravenclaw fifth year, prefect, one of the riding club founders, and she spends a lot of free time down in the stables tending to the horses. things are a little chaotic in her life right now, but she tries to ignore it so that she can focus on others. i think she'd like ted all right.

wendy's a social gryffindor sixth year. she likes parties and having a good time. she hasn't really had one lately because of issues with her non-boyfriend, tho. wendy has some issues with friendship, so it's hard to say if she and ted would be friends, but she wouldn't dislike him.

unfortunately i don't see too much with gideon since they really run in different circles. tho if gabby is still climbing all over ted, he might get a bit jealous. ruh roh. she's supposed to climb on him what who said that.

pippin is a yukon-born ravenclaw sixth year who is a little bit of trouble. she doesn't go around intentionally being naughty but she's not a huge stickler for the rules either. also she likes to climb on the roofs. her bestie is the sixth year ravenclaw prefect soooo she would probably know teddy here. and she's insisting on calling him teddy. haaaa sorry i can't stop her. uh she's very... weird. lol. she's running the hogwarts herald now so if ted(dy) is interested in that, she'd love to have him.

he is my newest. sixth year slytherin boy, and he's very shy and introverted. he's been bullied a lot, but he makes sure that he always gets his revenge, no matter when or how it is. and he can get creative with his revenge tactics too. but he's also got some pride, so he'd be pissed if ted ever intervened. lol, he shouldn't expect a thank-you, anyway. dunno if there's anything between him and ted, but lemme know if you think of something!

fenwick is an asshole. recently recruited to the order of the phoenix and now his ego is like twice as large. he's got a big attitude problem and is mean to everyone, though he respects people who are actually intelligent and not helpless bimbos. he is graduated so i dunno if there's anything we can do, but he was probably an ass to ted during school. ha.
