201. Is your character a follower, a rebel, or a leader?
202. Your character wakes up in his/her home and smells smoke. What does he/she do?
203. What’s the strangest thing your character has ever done? Strangest? Not sure, Ian can be pretty peculiar sometimes, by other people’s standards. I can’t think of anything else right now, so I’m gonna say… skinny-dipping.

205. What’s the luckiest thing that has ever happened to your character?
206. What’s the worst stroke of fortune your character has ever had?
207. If your character had nearly unlimited wealth, what would he/she spend it on? After getting what he needs? He’d spend the money on other people. And cars, LOL.
208. Who’s the craziest person your character has ever known, and what was their relationship like?
209. How does your character want to make a living, and why has he/she chosen that route? Ian wants to be an Auror. Why? "To protect people who need protecting," he says.

214. If your character were a writer, what type of material would he/she write?
215. How physically healthy is your character? Ian has healthy habits, so he doesn't get sick often. He tries to take pretty good care of himself.
216. How mentally healthy is your character? Oh, Ian's mental health is remarkable, usually. He's a very calm, stable person who is very comfortable with who he is. He's just been known to have a case of clinical depression at one traumatic point in his life.
217. How does your character feel about doctors/Healers? Ian respects doctors and Healers greatly because they help people who need it.
218. If your character could be someone else, who would he/she want to be? He wouldn't want to be someone else, even if he could.
219. Does your character want power or authority of any kind? Sort of, not really? Ian isn’t very power-hungry. If he gets placed in a position of power or authority, he accepts the responsibilities and does his duty as well he can. He’d really only want a position of authority if he thought objectively that he was the best person for the job.
220. Pick three adjectives that best describe your character’s inner nature. Selfless, thoughtful, curious.
221. Pick three adjectives that best describe your character’s outer manner. Calm, patient, quiet.

224. How generous is your character toward strangers? With his/her time? His/her money? His/her aid in times of crisis? His/her attitudes? His/her emotional support? Very, to all of the above. Ian is ridiculously selfless sometimes. He’s always thinking about other people’s needs.
225. How easily does your character relate to others? Very well. He's always interested in getting to know people, and he generally has an easy time accepting them the way they are.
226. Does your character prefer adventure or security? Both. Ian naturally tries to ensure security for himself and the people around him, and he’s okay with trying new things when there isn’t too much harm in it.
227. Is your character a dreamer, or are his/her feet firmly planted on the ground? Ian is very down to earth.
228. What was the last medical problem your character had? Probably a mild cold or something.

238. In terms of romantic relationships, what is your character’s “type”? What does he/she think his/her type is? Honestly, to me, he seems to be attracted to rather flirty girls so far. Ian doesn’t think he has a type, though. He says it doesn’t matter because everyone is different.
239. Who has most influenced your character’s development as a person? His uncle Aaron, for sure. Ian kind of takes after him.
240. Did your character have any heroes as a child?

250. Describe your character’s childhood home.
251. What is the most cruel and hurtful thing your character has ever said?
252. How good is your character at manipulating other people? To what end does he/she do it? Holy cow, Ian would be fantastic at manipulating people. He reads people fairly easily, and he’d probably be able to figure out the right things to say to push someone in a certain direction. Fortunately for the general population, Ian does not use his powers for evil.
253. What is your character’s attitude toward education and learning, either formal or informal? Ian takes his formal education pretty seriously. He doesn’t believe he’s at Hogwarts to waste time. He has a career goal he wants to reach, and he does what he needs to in order to achieve it. He understands the value of learning and in being prepared.
254. What are your character’s beliefs regarding death and the afterlife? He knows ghosts are real, because he's seen them at school. Other than that, he's really not sure at all. There’s an impulse in him to believe there’s a heaven or something like it, because it’s sad to think of his parents as completely gone from the universe, but he doesn’t hold a very strong opinion on it because he doesn’t like to throw his faith into things he has no reason to believe in.
255. What does your character believe to be his/her purpose in life? "To live."
256. How does your character view the opposite sex?
257. What does your character consider to be the most beautiful thing he/she’s ever seen?
258. What does your character consider to be the ugliest thing he/she’s ever seen?
259. How does your character feel about the idea of owning his/her own home?

261. What does your character feel least confident about? His ability to help someone who doesn't want to be helped.
262. Your character wakes up to find a poisonous spider on his/her pillow next to his/her head. What does he/she do?
263. How far does your character believe he/she would go to achieve his/her most cherished goal? How far would he/she really go?
264. Someone grabs the last of something your character wants to purchase before he/she can pick it up. How does he/she respond?
265. What character trait most annoys your character when he/she experiences it in others? Selfishness. He hates cruelty, which he thinks of as hurting people just to hurt, but he thinks that falls under selfishness, so there.
266. What’s the worst injury your character has ever received?
267. In what arena is your character most competitive?
268. Does your character feel responsible for anyone besides him/herself?
269. On what does your character spend his/her money?
270. What’s the worst illness your character has ever experienced? Does an allergic reaction count? The first time Ian had lobster, he puked like mad, had some swelling, got hives, and had to be taken to the hospital.
271. What’s the worst illness your character has ever witnessed?
272. Has your character ever watched someone die? Ian watched his father die in the hospital after a bout with pneumonia.
273. Has your character ever been witness to a serious crime? I don’t think so.
274. How does your character view minor violations of the law? He doesn't mind them too much as long as they aren't hurting people.
275. Does your character have a sense of “personal space”? Yep. It isn't rigidly defined, because it differs depending on his relationship with certain people. He knows how to respect other people's personal space, and if he inadvertently makes them uncomfortable, he'd apologize and try not to do it in the future. His own personal space is rarely violated, because he's pretty comfortable with being touched. I guess he'd have issues with people snogging him, kissing any part of his body except his forehead or cheek, interlacing their fingers with his, or touching his genitals unless they're his current or potential romantic partner. He wouldn't get super fussed about it, but he would politely ask them to stop.
276. Does your character have any artistic talents, such as writing, painting, playing an instrument, or singing? Are they well developed or raw and untrained? Secret or public? Apparently not. Ian doesn't have any artistic talents whatsoever.
277. How well does your character handle change? Ian handles change well, for the most part. He's pretty calm about it. He did get a rather nasty case of depression after his dad died, but he eventually moved on.
278. Does your character enjoy surprises? Yes.
279. Does your character tend to follow fads and trends? Does he/she studiously avoid them? Or does he/she do his own thing without worrying about it either way? The last one, for sure.
280. How does your character approach work? Is he/she organized and methodical? Disorganized and wild? Energetic and enthusiastic? Lazy and unconcerned? Something else entirely?
281. What does your character do, if anything, to take care of and preserve his/her own health?
282. How does your character greet others?
283. Does your character have any speech habits (such as ‘um,’ ‘like,’ or ‘you know’) that he/she repeats often while speaking?
284. Does your character swear? *cough* Yes. He doesn't swear on a regular basis, but every now and then, it'll crop up when he really wants to emphasize something. When he's angry or upset, he can swear like a sailor, but he doesn't tend to be very sexually vulgar.
285. Does your character have a large vocabulary? If so, does he/she like to use it in conversation? Yeah, he does because he reads a lot and his memory’s pretty good. He doesn’t tend to bust it out in casual conversation all that much, but he can on occasion.
286. How well does your character handle difficult or recalcitrant people? Patiently. He's insanely patient.
287. How does your character deal with people who are angry with him/her? Calmly. Ridiculously calmly. It takes a lot to ruffle Ian’s feathers.
288. How does your character respond when he/she is unjustly accused of something? He'd calmly explain his view of things.
289. What sort of relationship does your character have with his/her teachers? Oh, they probably love Ian. He's a pretty model student, I'd say. Always gets his homework in on time, pays attention in class, doesn't cause trouble...
290. Does your character supervise anyone? If so, how good is he/she at it? How does he/she handle problems? If not, does he/she want to? Would he/she be good at it?

292. How would your character respond if someone else took credit for his/her work?
293. How does your character feel about protecting the environment? If he/she cares about it, what does he/she do about it? What doesn’t he/she do that he/she knows he/she could?
294. What are your character’s views on fame? Would he/she want to be famous? Would he/she really like it if he/she became famous, or would it be too much for him/her?
295. Your character wakes up in a room and bed he/she doesn’t recognize. What does he/she do? Where is he/she? How did he/she get here?
296. What are your character’s views on the poor and destitute? What separates him/her from these people, if anything? How would he/she handle it (and how would his/her views change) if he/she became one of these people?
297. Does your character hold any beliefs or views that others would consider disturbing, distasteful, offensive, or sickening? What has resulted in these beliefs or views? Does your character understand that others would find these views disturbing?
298. When your character interacts with others in a social setting, what does he/she most crave, psychologically speaking? Companionship? Attention? Approval? How does this affect his/her behavior?
299. Does your character enjoy shopping? Hate it? Tolerate it? He doesn't particularly love or hate shopping. He usually just does it if he needs to or if he's accompanying someone else.
300. Does your character get along with his/her dormmates? Tolerate them? Feud with them? Avoid them?
301. How do your characters’ dormmates view him/her and his/her living habits? I don't know, they probably think he's fine? Maybe some of them are weirded out by all the waffles he has.
302. How well does your character take care of his/her belongings?
303. Does your character like poetry? Sure, some of it, anyway.
304. What is your character’s energy level?
305. Has your character ever been truly, madly, deeply in love? No, Ian has never been in love.
306. Has your character ever had a mentor? Not really.
307. Has your character ever been an inspiration to anyone? Has he/she ever wanted to be or thought that he/she was?
308. Has your character ever let someone down who was depending on him/her? Nope. Ian’s a very reliable person.
309. Where does your character fall on an order vs. chaos spectrum?
310. Where does your character fall on a good vs. evil spectrum?
311. Where does your character fall on a kindness vs. cruelty spectrum?
312. Where does your character fall on a cynicism vs. hopefulness spectrum? In the middle? Maybe leaning a bit toward hopefulness. Ian is a realist in the sense that he sees things the way they are, but he likes for things to improve, if they can.
313. In what ways does your character annoy others?
314. Make a “pet peeve” list for your character, either in general or with respect to a certain issue.
315. Pick an issue your character has an interest in, and make a wish list from his/her point of view with respect to that issue.
316. Does your character have any responsibilities he/she feels he/she can’t handle? Why did he/she take them on? What is he/she doing about them?
317. Does your character have any psychological hang-ups where money is concerned? Not particularly. If someone paid for something of his, he'd want to pay them back, but he wouldn't get severely bent out of shape if they insisted on showing their affection that way and they could afford it.
318. How does your character feel about different types of terrain—jungle, beaches, mountains, forest, plains, ocean, etc.? Does he/she have a favorite and/or least favorite type? Does he/she associate any particularly pleasant or traumatic past events with any type of terrain?
319. Does your character enjoy the natural world, or is he/she a city boy/girl through-and-through? Ian lives on a farm, and he feels very at home there. He loves being outdoors.
320. Does your character have a green thumb? If he/she doesn’t, does he/she try to grow things anyway? How do they come out? What does he/she grow? No, gardening/planting is not one of Ian’s talents. The farm he lives on focuses on livestock rather than crops, so he doesn’t have too much experience with growing things. He tries to do it sometimes because of Herbology class at Hogwarts, but he’s not amazing at it, just okay.
321. How does your character feel about water? Does he/she like to swim? Go boating? Is he/she afraid of the water?
322. Does your character have any interest in history?
323. Does your character have any interest in the human mind and how it works? Lord, this question was written for Ian. The answer is yes. Ian absolutely has an interest in how people think. If he were at a Muggle university, he would totally be a Psychology major.
324. What sorts of dreams does your character typically have?
325. How does your character feel about the concepts of fate and destiny? "I don’t believe in fate. I believe in choices."
326. Under ordinary circumstances, what would your character consider to be a crisis?
327. Are there any beverages or foods that your character insists on having every day? Not really. Water, maybe.
328. If someone told your character today that he/she was destined to fulfill a great prophecy, how would he/she react?
329. How would/did your character handle the deaths of his/her parents or siblings? He was confused and sad after his mum's death because it was the first time he'd ever had to deal with the death of someone close to him, and his dad was so deep in depression that he wasn't much help. His unnamed sibling died with his mum during labor, but because Sebastian was only six at the time and hadn't had an opportunity to get to know him/her, it didn't weigh so heavily on him. His dad's later death, however, hit him much harder. He had a pretty rough time trying to cope with losing a mother and his dad being disconnected from everything, including him. The combination of long-term negative emotional buildup and guilt over how his dad died sent him into a spiral of childhood depression that took a long time to get over.
330. Is there anyone in his/her family your character refuses to speak to or have any contact with? If not, is there anyone else in his/her family who refuses to speak to or have any contact with someone else? If so, how does your character feel about this?
331. Is there anyone whose welfare your character feels responsible for?
332. How strong is your character’s sense of responsibility, and what kinds of things trigger it?
333. Is there anyone whose forgiveness your character desires? What for?
334. Has your character ever hurt someone and secretly felt good about it? I don’t believe so. Ian really dislikes hurting people.
335. Describe your character’s soulmate. To answer this question, I'm going to ignore the fact that Ian doesn't believe in soulmates. His soulmate would have to be someone capable of being what he perceives as selfless.

LAST UPDATED: 24 February 2010 ISS TIMELINE: Summer 1977
1. What does your character’s name mean to him/her? She's Wendy. It's the name that she chose for herself. And it wasn't as a declaration of independence or individuality. She chose it because she liked it, and because she felt like a Wendy. She didn't feel like a Winnifred, gracious no. Nor did she feel like a Winnie, and certainly not a Freddie. She's Wendy, and it's important to her because she feels like a Wendy, and she likes that. 2. It’s January second. Where is your character today, and what is he/she doing? Hah. She's probably still working off the post-New Years Eve hangover with Julian somewhere. Yep, two days later. 3. If your character could change one physical detail about him/herself, what would it be? Overall, Wendy is pretty happy with her appearance. She doesn't think she's a knock-out but she's confident and comfortable with how she looks. Really, she wouldn't change anything. For purposes of answering the question... eh, she guesses her breasts could be better. They're nothing to write home about. 4. Describe your character’s hairstyle. Why did he/she choose it? How much does he/she care about it? Wendy wears her hair down. She'll style it nicely if she feels like it. She likes the fact that she's a natural redhead; it attracts attention just by standing out, so she feels she doesn't really have to style it in a special way to turn heads. 5. What is your character’s favorite physical activity?
6. When was the last time your character climbed a tree? Why and under what circumstances? If he/she has never climbed one, why not?
7. Your character comes face-to-face with his/her worst enemy. What is his/her first reaction? Hmm... well, Wendy isn't really aware that she has a worst enemy. There are some people she dislikes on the basis that they're rude or nasty or bullies, but... hmm. Well, for purposes of the question, Wendy's reaction is to ignore said enemy and continue on her merry way. 8. What is your character’s least favorite physical activity? Probably running. Wendy's not the most physically-fit individual. Well, she's not heavy, she's just out of shape. She can run short distances, but cross country and long distance, no. She doesn't like having the cramps in her sides and legs, thank you very much. 9. What is your character’s favorite weather?
10. What is your character’s favorite season? Wendy enjoys spring. She likes seeing the colours explode into life after the bleakness of winter. 11. Your character keeps a photo album of memories from his/her lifetime. If he/she could only keep one photo, what would it depict?
12. Does your character keep any pets? If so, what are they? Wendy lives on a sheep farm with her aunt and uncle and cousin, and they have around seventy sheep normally and can reach over one hundred twenty in the lambing season. Do those count as pets? Wendy likes to go home during Easter to care for the lambs, like bottle feeding if need be, and that continues sometimes in early summer too. Aside from the sheep, her aunt and uncle have two border collies they use to herd them, and Cirrus - the male - won a couple of shepherding events years back. Now, Cirrus and Gypsy are both working dogs and breeders, and they sell the puppies to good homes when they aren't selling wool to markets. Wendy ended up keeping one of the puppies from her first year there, a male she named Gratis, who is immensely protective of her. 13. A very large centipede runs across your character’s leg. What does he/she do? She'll say "ew" and flick it off. Bugs gross her out, but she's not afraid of them unless they can kill her. Like scorpions or legitimately deadly spiders. 14. What does your character eat for breakfast? Wendy was never a fan of cereal. She does, however, love her buttered toast with sunny-side-up eggs, along with a nice bowl of fruit salad and a tall glass of milk or orange juice, whatever she feels like drinking on that particular day. 15. What is your character’s least favorite weather? Snowstorms & blizzards. It's cold, and people can get hurt and lost and sick in them, especially when it's dark. They're dangerous, and just icky. 16. What is your character’s fondest childhood memory?
17. If your character were in the habit of keeping a journal, what good memories could he/she go back and re-visit through that journal? Would he/she do so often?
18. What is your character’s favorite piece of artwork? The Birth of Venus by Botticelli. Wendy loves that Venus isn't stick-thin. She knows that a bit of fat around the stomach was the sign of a healthy, upperclass, fashionable woman back then - fertility or something - but she likes that today, it seems to promote a bit of a healthier body image than being super skinny. 19. What is your character’s least favorite season? Wendy has a love/hate relationships with spring, actually. Because even though it's her favourite season for the reasons mentioned above, it's... allergy season. Wendy doesn't have any severe allergies, but snow mould bothers her, and it's just so annoying to have the never-ending sniffly nose and itchy eyes. So it's her least favourite season as well as her favourite... she's an oddball. 20. Someone asks your character to describe his/her family. How does he/she answer? "I live with my aunt and uncle and cousin on their farm. They're interesting people. My aunt is a masseuse and she's into New Age things, like tarot cards and herbal tea, and she's a real sweetheart and affectionate. She loves hugs and will hug someone she's just met if that person means a lot to someone she knows well. Like, Lucy. The first time Aunt Moira met Lucy, she gave her the biggest hug she could. She also likes to dye her hair red. I don't know why. She just likes it more than brunette, I guess. And she can be weird and a little kookie sometimes, but I love her. Uncle Patrick is just a nice guy all around. Sometimes he gets so excited over things, like working on his cars. He can be like a little boy, it's adorable. He takes good care of his family, and he was so welcoming to me when I had to go live with them. Christina, my cousin... ugh. Christina is just spiteful and mean. I don't get it. Maybe she's just a spoiled brat. We don't get along, but I only have to see her during summer, so it's all good." 21. Is your character a morning person, a night owl, or something else entirely? Well... Wendy's an insomniac, so she's not really an "anything" person. I guess the closest she'd come to is night owl. 22. What is your character’s least favorite color?
23. What does the color orange make your character think of? How does it make him/her feel? lol. Wendy's a redhead. It's pretty much natural that she doesn't like orange. Orange also makes her think of fire, and she's not a big fan of fire, unless it's controlled in a fireplace. 24. Your character walks into his/her home and sees blood on the floor. What is his/her first reaction or thought? Why is there blood on the floor? Whose is it? What happens next? Wendy's first thought is that one of the dogs is injured, and she'll start looking around for them. She doesn't think it's an intruder. After all, she lives on a farm in the middle of nowhere. Who'd come out there to invade her house? Still, once she thinks of that possibility, she's cautious and will grab something to defend herself just in case. Hopefully she has her wand on her. She'll look around but try to stick pretty close to a door, just in case she does need to make an escape, and would probably - very hesitantly - call for her aunt and uncle. Because it's probably nothing. 25. Describe the outside of your character’s home.
26. Describe a typical birthday for your character.
27. Which mythological figure best personifies your character?
28. What is your character’s least favorite animal? Wendy tends to like all animals, but she doesn't do very well around horses. They make her a little nervous, and she's a bit allergic. Well, she says she's allergic. 29. What does the color red make your character think of? How does it make him/her feel? Honestly, red makes her think of herself. Red hair and whatnot. It amuses her, really. 30. A stranger makes a crude comment to your character. How does he/she react? Wendy might stare for a few moments before scoffing and turning away. It's stupidity. She doesn't need to deal with it. 31. What is your character’s favorite animal? Wendy loves dogs. She always wanted a puppy as a kid, but never had one. Now she has her Gratis and she luff him. Though really, Wendy loves all animals. Seriously, the thought of poaching and hunting and abuse just... she actually gets angry, and that's an emotion I'm not used to seeing from her. 32. What is your character’s favorite beverage?
33. What is your character’s least favorite food?
34. What does the color blue make your character think of? How does it make him/her feel?
35. How does your character feel when he/she visits someone in the hospital (or other major medical facility)?
36. Has your character ever had surgery (or other major medical treatment)?
37. Does your character gamble? Is he/she good at it? OH HELL YEAH. Wendy LOVES Texas Hold 'Em, and she's damn good at it, too. Her uncle taught her when she first moved to the farm, and she got better and better over the years with practice. She plays with the boys from neighbouring farms, and her lying skill/bluffing/poker face is fantastic, so she's often able to beat them. 38. Does your character know how to swim? She knows how, but she's not the strongest of swimmers. Wendy swims like a frog. Hah. 39. How does your character feel about large bodies of water? She thinks oceans and lakes are beautiful, but she wouldn't swim in them. 40. Does your character have any phobias? What are they, and how intense are they? How have they impacted his/her life?
41. What does the color purple make your character think of? How does it make him/her feel?
42. Your character lies on his/her back on a summer day and looks up at the clouds. What images does he/she see in their shapes?
43. A terrible crime has been committed, and evidence points to your character’s guilt. He/she didn’t commit the crime, but he/she doesn’t have an immediate way to prove it. What does he/she do?
44. Your character witnesses a terrible crime being committed, and he/she sees the perpetrator’s face. He/she also knows that the perpetrator has friends in high places. What does he/she do? What if the perpetrator is someone he/she trusts and respects? How does he/she handle this?
45. Your character sees someone get hit by a car; the person is still alive but obviously badly injured. No one else is nearby to help. What does he/she do?

176. Does your character believe in astrology, palmistry, tarot, or other methods of divination? Hah! Well, Wendy doesn't necessarily believe in it, but she loves it. It's entertaining, and sometimes the predictions and readings can be shockingly accurate and she gets amusement out of that. She knows how to read palms and tarot cards and stuff - her aunt taught her even before she started taking Divination at Hogwarts. And Divination is one of her best subjects, since she can bullshit her way through actually gives a damn about it. 177. How does your character feel about sex? What mores and morals does he/she apply to it? Wendy doesn't sleep with someone she doesn't genuinely like and care about on at least some level that's more than "friend". She won't have sex with someone if she even has the slightest feeling of "I'm going to regret this tomorrow". While she might sleep with someone when she's had a little to drink, she's never slept with someone when totally smashed, because it's just not safe. As well, she's not the biggest fan of comfort sex. But, Wendy does make sure that she's safe. As in, condoms. Lol. Yup, every time. It's fun for her, she enjoys it even if the guys have always enjoyed it more than she does *cough* and she likes it. She says it's fun, so long as it's safe and they both want to. 178. Describe the kind of person who could convince your character’s partner to cheat on him/her. Er. Well, the first time she dated Damien at the end of fourth year, evidently he was seeing girls on the side since Wendy only let him get to second base. I guess if Wendy wasn't putting out, whoever she's with would just sleep with random skanks girls on the side? 198. Would your character ever cheat on a romantic partner? Describe the circumstances under which your character might cheat on his/her partner. Describe the kind of person who could convince your character to cheat on his/her partner. Well... she did kinda cheat on Severen Snow. Kinda. She made out with Damien Deminov - again - while she was dating Sev, but her argument is that she and Sev never said they were exclusive. She sees pets more as family than just a thing to pet and feed and pick up after. And animal cruelty? Oh, gosh. There's not a lot that infuriates Wendy, but animal abuse does. If she witnessed abuse? 329. How would/did your character handle the deaths of his/her parents or siblings? At this point in time, Wendy wouldn't know what to think. She hasn't seen her parents in years, and her last experiences with them weren't pleasant. If it was her father, she'd probably have a small sense of relief, which she'd feel awful about, but her greatest fear is that he'll show up one day to force his way back into her life. Wendy doesn't want forgiveness from anybody. 334. Has your character ever hurt someone and secretly felt good about it? She says no.
