If you don’t know Kerry I would encourage you to get to know her and fast, before she’s so swamped with plots you wind up on a waiting list just to have a conversation with her! xD While she is a quiet, more reserved member that hasn’t stopped we staffers from picking her out in the crowd. She’s always been good about asking questions if something wasn’t clear in the rules (or anything else for that matter), has shown a clear dedication to the site by numerous cbox conversations and plotting threads, and of course we have to give this girl credit for waiting for ISS to re-open posting to pre-enrolled characters. It takes some skill to have that much patience while waiting for the go-ahead. I admire her a lot for never showing the slightest ounce of irritation from the wait. She used the time productively even, setting up character logs and the like. I swear procrastination is a word that isn’t defined in her vocabulary. And I like that, lol. Another thing I was particularly impressed with was her awareness of self. What do I mean? I mean she didn’t join, create three characters immediately, and then began to slack with them. She’s let her characters come in their own time. I’m excited to see what else comes from Ms. Future-Diehard-Kerry. [:
- - - Though I haven't had much chance to chat with this girl, I've been increasingly impressed with what she's been doing around the site. About every other post is her trying to come up with plots for her characters. Too often I see people come to the site, make a character, and then sit around and complain that they have no plots. Did Kerry do that? Absolutely not. I've seen not only plotting threads started by her, but multiple posts in other people's plotting threads. That alone has singled Kerry out to me as a newbie worthy of this award, and that doesn't even include the fact that she hasn't wasted a minute in getting on top of those plots. Plus, this girl is active, something that immediately sets her apart in my mind, because I seriously love active members. Girl hasn't even been here that long and she's already got basically a full Photo Album, a journal going, and plans for more threads. I honestly don't know what else I could ask for in a member, which is why I agree Kerry should get the Future Diehard award. I see her stickin' around. (;
- - - I remember back when Kerry ambled into the cbox, bravely and fearlessly and introduced herself and her first charrie, the luffly Kasey Korin. Kerry posted her application promptly after having introduced herself and the entire app was really flawless; written smoothly and well, it was an easy-to-read and friendly application that really reflected Kasey's personality. It was no surprise that this cute girlie got sorted into Hufflepuff, and it wasn't long after she was accepted that Kerry started pursuing plots. Unlike some newbies, she didn't wait in the wings or tremble at the idea of jumping into the cbox and plotting, nor did she do this on MSN. She's always ready to plot and is always up for anything, which is one of the reasons I find it so much fun to plot with her! She got Kasey's tracker, diary, c-log, etc. up right away and also posted an introduction thread where we all got to know her. ^^ She was funny and sweet and always a joy to be around, and now, with the arrival of her brand spankin' new charrie, Trey Jackson, Kerry is at it again. She's got all his things set up nicely and efficiently and has already plunged into roleplaying with him, but one day or so after his acceptance! It is truly remarkable, the pace at which Kerry has plunged into ISS, has bravely and with little hesitation ascertained several plots for her two charries, and has stricken up many friendships with the rest of our luffly members. I truly salute her, and I look forward to plotting more and more with this future diehard. (:
