Facial Properties:

She has dark brown hair that reaches just passed her shoulders, and is straitened every morning before her classes. Her face is slightly angular, and her chin is rounded almost to being flat. She has always had a pretty face, and has never worn a lot of makeup, or needed to. Ryan has plump pink lips, and an unforgettable smile. Even though she her hair is perfect and her smile is amazing, the first thing people usually notice about her is her eyes. Just above her high cheekbones, lay her naturally bright blue eyes. They`re a little bit slanted and rest just below her perfectly arched eyebrows.Her nose is average sized and curves in just the right places. Her ears are small and unpierced, though she wishes they were. Her teeth are straight and noticeably white. She doesn't have an angelic look but most think that shes extremely attractive.

Ryan isn't exactly the tallest girl around, standing at a height of exactly 4'11'', but shes very proportionate, her arms are thin and just the right length. Her legs are perfectly toned and have absolutely no flab. Her arms and abs are slightly muscle toned from the exercise she tries to get done as much as possible. Ryan has small hands and wrists, something that she has always loved about herself. Her feet are small too. At this point, it may not be surprising that she wears a USA size 4. Ryan`s chest is average sized, and she has almost no hips. Shes very light for a fifteen year old weighing in at 93lbs, but doesn't mind. In her mind shes not short, shes FUN SIZE!

"I WILL study....Just not right now"

Ryan isnt exactly the most studious person, but she always makes sure to cram before a test. Her method actually works pretty well getting her average to high marks, and in her opinion thats good enough. She tries to get her younger sister to study and NOT be like her. It doesn't always work, but at least she tries. Ryan is well known by her friends for her procrastination methods such as: "I`ll do it tomorrow", "I'm too busy I`ll do it later," or "go away"

"I am SOOO not sarcastic....well maybe just a little."

Naw really? Yes, Ryan is a pretty sarcastic person, although she tries to keep the sarcasm from being hurtful if she's speaking with friends. With enemies its obviously different, not that she tries to make enemies, they kind of just find her sometimes. She knows she's not perfect and some of her traits would probably grate on a lot of nerves. However, she isn't really a fan of confrontation either, so she tends to avoid it, and if that doesn't work she can always use her sarcasm. It usually just comes out when she's irritated, and that happens kind of often.

"I do NOT have a temper!!!!!!!!"

A terrible flaw of Ryan`s is her fiery temper. Getting on her bad side Isn't exactly a good idea. If you hurt her friends she`ll hurt you, and thats a promise. Ryan is also kind of gullible, and if you lie to her she`ll probably believe it. Eventually she finds out, and at that point you should be sleeping with BOTH eyes open. Besides her temper shes usually nice to everyone that earns her so many friends, and by now people have learned to stay on her good side. She recognizes her temper and tries her best to keep it to herself, unfortunately her best isnt always good enough.

"Ive never been impulsive...Ooh Shiny!"

Ryan has always been pretty impulsive, leading to her being rather reckless and having the extremely annoying habit of speaking-before-thinking .It mostly just gets her into trouble than she already is. As if she needs to give people even more incentive to look out for her. Most of her friends think boiling point had been much too easy to reach. Besides the impulsiveness, she's actually pretty responsible when it comes to most things. She usually gets all her homework done, and always looks out for her little sister Hayley.

History:

Ryan Elizabeth Cole was born in NYC, New York on a quiet September 7th evening. Her mother was a witch and her father was a muggle, both well aware of magic. They were both hoping she would be a witch, and at age 7 she started showing magical powers like: levitating her mother`s high heels, and cookies from on top of the counter.

As she grew she was a real handful for her parents. She often created miniature thunder storms when she was angry, and then getting her, her clothes, and the carpet soaking wet. When Ryan was 9 years old her little sister, Hayley Cole was born just four days before her birthday. She was also a witch.

Ryan Went to muggle school for 6 years then she got her Hogwarts letter at age 10 (would turn 11 hat year)transported by a horned owl. Her parents were erupting with pride. The next day she was taken to diagon alley by her mother to get her supplies and an owl.

Bravely she boarded the Hogwarts express just a month later. She made many friends on the train, and buying them some candy didn't hurt her chances either. When the train arrived at Hogwarts she knew immediately that it was home. She was hoping on a certain house but refused to share it with others. She didn't like to be disappointed.

The train hadn't even stopped and Ryan was already in complete, and total awe. "This is it?" she asked the boy sitting next to her, he nodded, probably feeling the same way she thought. But how was she feeling? Awestruck? Intimidated? Maybe even a little scared? Well maybe not scared, she thought again. She stopped the list at excited, because thats the word she had been looking for. The train shrieked to a stop. groups of students poured out of the train in huddles. Getting of the train she honestly thought she was ready for anything, anything that is except a humongous hairy man holding a lantern.

She had to tilt up my head to look at him, "Hello!" she said. He looked down at her, Not a comfortable feeling. "Hello" He replied. Her bright blue eyes seemed to grow when the man squatted down and was still taller than her. "This your first year?" he asked while setting down his lantern. "Yes sir" she bobbed her head up and down. And then seemingly out of nowhere he laughed. "Whats so funny?" she said as she crossed her arms and poked out her lower lip, just slightly. "I'm no sir," he told her, "Call me Hagrid." Ryan dropped her arms, "Oh, well hello Hagrid, My name is Ryan, Ryan Cole" She told him. "Well Ryan," he stood up, "We`d better be catching our boat, Don`t want to get left behind do we?"


She hopped into the boat and started to slowly drift towards the castle. She found that close up was a lot bigger than she thought. As they sailed closer her nerves started to act up. What if its a bad house, what if the professors all hate me, what if I don't make any friends, What if... The thoughts buzzed though her head like a bumblebee. For probably the first time in her life she was really truly afraid.



A professor gathered the students just outside an extremely large door. When it opened all the first years piled in a clump up to the front trying to get a better view. The Professor started to call names down the list , "Ryan Cole" she called. She looked up and slowly made her way to the front. She sat on the stool and squirmed a little as she did. Then the Professor placed the sorting hat over her dark satiny hair. She looked up at the brim of the hat, and mentally prayed that the Sorting Hat was never wrong.
