Lucy Emma Murphy. For Merlin's sake, I just want to pack you up with all my stuff and kidnap you. Why can't you just skip a year and graduate with me? Pretty please? Seriously, I don't know how I'm supposed to get through anything without you and your never-failing humor. You're like the funniest person I know and I'm gonna miss you so fucking much when I graduate. This really does suck. But I shouldn't be negative, not in your yearbook. (Although speaking of yearbooks, I'm totally planning on taking up just as much room in yours as you did in mine, you babbler, you XP Just kidding, I loved it.) But yes, I'm gonna miss you. I'm gonna miss listening to you laugh and I'm gonna miss you making me laugh and I'm gonna miss spending class passing notes with you while we both laugh and really, I'm gonna miss all the crazy things about you and then some.
You see, Luce, there's this saying. In fact, you've probably heard of it. "One in a million," that's what people say when they're talking about someone who's really unique or special or just plain awesome. But if you really think about it, only one person out a whole million should be able to be called that. And I know I don't know a million people but I'm still confident in saying that you are "one in a million" without a doubt. You're one of the coolest people I know and definitely the most unique and all that. So don't ever change, Murph. Seriously. Just stay as awesome as you are right now and I'll be a happy man. A happy man who would eventually love to match-make his children with yours, as you suggested. 'Cause duh, they'll all be gorgeous if they take after their parents in any way at all. But I'm not gonna go off on a tangent about how attractive we are 'cause we both know we can spend ages (and many many boring classes haha) talking about that (;
But, I've actually got another proposition. No, not a proposition. A pact. Yes. And you don't have any choice in the matter, darling. As of right now, because I say so, we both pinky swear that if we're both unmarried by the time we're say, forty? that we'll get married to each other and have that be that. What do you say? Will you be my back-up wife, Lucy Emma Murphy? ...I'm just gonna assume you said yes. And now, there's no deviating from this. You see, that's the nature of a pact. It's pretty rock solid. Etched in stone. All that, you know? So even though I'm graduating and you have to stay behind at Hogwarts and I'm gonna miss you something crazy, at least we can be happy knowing that we're each other's back-up spouses. As far as I'm concerned, anyway. But I think I'm rambled enough to make up for how much room you took up in my yearbook, haha. I just have one last thing to say and that's KEEP IN TOUCH. No seriously. You better not become too busy and fabulous and stay in touch with me or else I'm gonna have to come back to Hogwarts and I'll be really mad at you, missy. So yes, we'll write to each other, don't worry. And I hope you have an amazing summer! Which you will obviously tell me all about later (:
I love you, Lucy Murphy. See ya soon,
