Anyone wanna be my saving grace and reply? I might just loose all sanity otherwise. I would even accept a mangy Slytherin. Anybody, please.

Saving grace. I like the sound of that. Well, I'm no mangy Slytherin, sorry to disappoint you. I'd hate for you to lose all sanity though, so I've taken the liberty of replying to you. You sounded desperate enough.

Mafalda, love! At last, some company – I think Saving Grace is more then an appropriate title for you. Because of you I might just make it through this – believe me, “desperate” doesn’t even begin to cover it. So how’ve you been? I hear only good things from Edward – care to confirm?

I don't think you'll ever find a word to describe it, and if you do let me know. I've been going through this two years longer than you, but you still have two years left. I pity you, really I do. Somehow I doubt that anything Edward said about me was good. If he told you I jumped to conclusions, was quick to anger, and always yelled at him for stuff that wasn't completely his fault - well he was lying. Don't ever believe the things he says. That boy has it out for me, I swear.

Perhaps “completely mindless torture”? “Excruciating pain in the form of schoolwork”? “Diabolical ways to kill a man’s soul”? Or maybe a combination of the three… And let me tell you, “utter jealously” can’t even amount up to how I feel towards you – Two. Years. How will I ever survive?
Now, now, Mafalda – why be so harsh on yourself? So you may be all those things, well, so what? From what I’ve heard you have the most gorgeous eyes a guy could lay his eyes on, a voice that sounds unbelievably out of place because it should be up singing with angels, and a personality that glows in the most remarkable ways. Either we’re describing two entirely different people or you need to work on your self-esteem.

Obviously you two talk about different things than him and I. My self esteem isn't that low. I happen to think the same things about my own eyes, voice, and personality, but I have a feeling as far as Edward goes, that he was probably referring to Narcissa.

Oh, don’t be like that – so maybe he does like Narrcissa more then you. I know it sounds awful, but honestly – so you loose Edward. What is he to you anyways? A nice boy to toy with? Someone to use when you’ve got nothing better to do? Whether you admit to agreeing, we both know you do. Did you seriously believe you two would get farther then the “fling” stage?

Joel, I don't even like Edward like that and I dont know why you always assume he likes me like that. We're just friends, if you can even consider us that. The only reason I talk about how much he likes Narcissa is because I honestly don't think he has a chance with her. And, the thought of even having a 'fling' stage with Edward makes me cringe. He is far too young for me to be interested in like that. You should understand. You're the same age. Stop jumping to conclusions. I do NOT toy with him. Have you ever even seen how we act when we're in the same room together?

This must be the temper you were talking about. Here I make a simple statement and I’m run down for it. Forgive me for complying my mix-matched thoughts – it’s not like I care what happens between you two. That’s strictly between you guys. I’m just a casual observer sitting off to the sidelines, that’s all. I suppose I’ll mind my own business, even though it’s much to boring for my tastes. Such a temper indeed.

I hardly have a temper, but how do you expect me not to be offended when you're sitting there judging me. It makes me uncomfortable to say the least. I've noticed that no matter how many attempts I make, I can't hold any more civil of a conversation with you than I can with him. No wonder you two are friends.

And likewise, there’s a reason I’m friends with him and not you. Or a good day anyways; this is what I consider a “bad day” so, it makes sense. I don’t know about you, but I think this conversation is over. You got me through the period – it’s all I asked for. “Check!” Leaving and going to find something better to do: “Check!”

Aha, ha – I like Mafalda; trash-talking her is awkward. O.o
