Don't worry Narcissa I am perfectly capable of handling damage control. I did torture a boy into passing out after all. Regardless of the circumstances it is an act I've yet to see anyone else perform. Not to mention the fact that after my less than proud exit from the great hall I was brought to see reason.

So as much as I appreciate the offer dear cousin I will not be needing my throat slit. Just so I know what I'm up against though, how bad is the damage? I've picked up whispers, but that's all. Apparently no one is brave enough to openly mock me...though I assume Sirius and Potter wouldn't mind taking the opportunity if I grant it to them. Which works just as well as I can make examples out of them both.

He rebelled against the family for the sheer joy he drew from making my parents blood boil. What I did and what he did couldn't possibly be more alike.

As for our loving family I have already taken measure's to get back into their good graces. I had no intention of waiting for your sister to go running to my parents. I was already in there disfavor after they discovered who I was dating, but I will be paying the family a visit to let them know the relationship has ended and to show them...just how serious I am about the responsibilities I have to the family.

I am perfectly aware of our families less than forgiving tendencies, as I am aware of your sister's temperament, but I assure you what I have done will more than compensate for my error in judgment. I would tell you what I've done, but I don't feel it should be discussed on paper. Not to mention I'd hate to ruin the surprise. I will reveal it to you and Bellatrix both after I have visited my parents.

And I really would have loved to have any sort of control at Yule. I don't even know what was going through my mind...Out of interest what's the word on Cartier? I'd like to believe I did enough damage to keep him off his feet for at least a few days, but magic does wonders for wounds of the body.

I held off on using the unforgivables didn't I? That should a hell of a lot of restraint for someone completely out of there mind. As for Ministry, there's nothing to worry about. I can make sure that incident never reaches the proper authorities, or rather a friend of a friend will make sure of it. You put far too much faith in a system that is far to easy to corrupt.

Yes, well that would be why they are considered unworthy. And in my defense she is a pureblood. I could have done far worse and you know it.

What can I say I'm a pain junkie. I doubt she'd talk to me anyway, now that I've chased off the guys she supposedly loves. She doesn't even believe in love. She shouldn't either seeing as it's merely a product of fairy tales meant to trick children into looking for something they'll never find. Makes me glad my parents never bothered which such false tales.
