But it's our last year here at Hogwarts, and I felt I had to write you something, even if you let our friendship fall to pieces over some girl. Because well, you know, the only whore here is me.

Ugh, okay, fine. I said I wasn't going to be bitchy on what I was going to write. But it's so hard, when one of your best friends just lets things go down the drain. When one of the people you could rely on the most suddenly disappears. Sirius, you were always a constant in my life. Have always been, and I'd be stupid and blind to not realize it. I want to thank you for that, even if I don't think you deserve it anymore, once upon a time you did, and that's what matters. Thanks for sticking up from the typical people to be a bright splotch in my line of vision. I like your colors.
