ABOUT THE CHARACTER Name: Noah Lee Orchard Age: 17 Gender: Males Year: 6th Celebrity: Chace Crawford
Canon or Original? Original
Facial Properties:He has that sandy beach boy look going on, might be the best way to describe Noah. His hair is dirty-blonde, long enough to creep up over the eyes, but short enough not to look like a hobo. It’s usually tussled in a somewhat careful manner, it’s his favorite feature. His jaw is long, and he has a very oval, almost pointed face. His suntanned skin and deep sea blue eyes make him automatically stand out from the crowd. Noah’s smile says it all, whether he’s enjoying himself or putting on one for the show, you can always tell. He’s got a very round nose, and his height for a guy is rather tall, 6 feet
Physique: A slender frame and good looking features top it off, to make him look like he was fresh off the beach. His style is usually more casual; grays and dark greens are usually the colors he puts on. Still, he can dress up when he feels like it and look more than suited for it. The only other thing you’d need to know about Noah is his ability to flash from one expression to the next. In one instance everything can change for a happy-go-lucky grin, to a furious scowl. His features are very dark and complex.
Personality: Ego: Well, to give a straight forward answer, Noah knows he’s good looking, charming, and he uses it to his advantage. He really isn’t the vain type of character; all he does is simply carry himself with confidence and assurance. Like most people on this earth, he still has his doubts about things. You may find him double checking himself, most often on matters of importance. On the whole, Noah walks through life reminding himself he does have potential and to hell with the person who thinks otherwise. Trust: It’s earned pretty quickly, unfixable if broken. He figures, at some point he has to put some faith in this person he’s spending his time with, might as well do it now. Noah finds trust really important in association with connecting to others, and he doesn’t want to miss that. Even if you’re not sure, you’ve got to try and be optimistic, some people actually are reliable.
Honesty: It’s a struggle, honestly. It seems the more he works on it, the more poorly he does. Noah will downright tell the truth in every day moments, no problem. On the other hand, if he’s backed himself into a corner, he might squirm. It’s just that, lying is so easy! Harmful as it may be, Noah hates being on the spot when it’s his fault, and occasionally he might let slip some pretty serious faulty information. Love/Relationships: Oh, it’s a must. Where would he be in the world without the lovely ladies? Stuck with a bunch of guys, losing his mind, that’s where. Therefore, he finds it highly significant to charm the girls. Let’s face it – he likes spending time with them, and he likes lip locking with them even more. He’ll be a gentleman, or perhaps a smooth talker. This had to come with a few problems, of course. Noah’s been called a heartbreaker countless times, and they’ll probably keep on coming. One girl at a time, when you adore them as he does, isn’t simple. Things happen.
Social: Noah likes to talk it up; he could carry a conversation for hours if he liked it enough. He talks to them all, house differences are the least of his worries. Being in a large crowd, in the middle of a dance floor, with blaring music, is just his thing. In other words, he’s friendly, usually on the head of the social scene. Blunt: Now there are really two sides to this, half and half you could say. Noah’s not really the one to tell you you’re a fat cow the minute he looks at you. Subtle is the key at certain times. He likes to be popular, so he won’t attack. Now, if you get on his nerves, you’ll be the first to know. Running off to tell all his friends behind your back how obnoxious you are, is cowardly. Plus, it’s not his style. If it’s bad enough, he’ll talk to you about it one-on-one. Noah will tell you like it is. Some things can be sorted out that way, others can not. But, you can never know if you don’t bring it up.
Enemies: Nicely put, you don’t want Noah to have sour feelings for you. He’s a harsh enemy, quite a bit different from his generally friendly self. Why? Because you really have to do something to tick him off that way. If you make stupid and taunting remarks, there’s gonna be a confrontation. Noah definitely won’t be pushed around, and he will push back much harder. Noah’s temper can escape him, and eventually so much has happened, they might have forgotten what they’d been fighting about in the first place. No matter, what’s done is done. Forgiveness: He’s a sticker on it. If you’ve really done something to upset him, or broken his trust, it’s going to be a nightmare and a half getting it back. Unforgiving, no going back is the motto. It’s tough, but the guy’s got a barrel full of pride, and hurt feelings on top of it. Friendships means a lot to him, messing it up is a crime. There are rare moments where he will forgive completely, but those are few and far between.
Friends: Friends are your family, period. Meant to stick together through the rough and the tough, no matter what. With Noah, you’ve got a friend for life; that is if it’s real. He gets a lot of mock friends for the popularity, where loyalty doesn’t run very deep. His real friends however, are here to stay. They’ve been through a lot with you, giving that all up doesn’t really make sense. Perseverance: Really, the guy just doesn’t give up, or take a hint for that matter. Angry at him? Noah will find a way to rock climb up your dorm tower and deliver a hundred roses to make up for it. He’s dramatic, and he’s got a lot of energy built up. You know that makes life interesting. Noah doesn’t know how to take no for an answer, and if he messes something up, he won’t quit trying to fix it if it kill shim. That leads over into how competitive he is. Noah doesn’t take losing well at all.
Brains: Not so much smart as he is clever. Managing to weasel your way out of almost anything take practice. Noah is the witty sort; he can come up with an idea or an excuse in the blink of an eye. He will definitely suck up to an authority figure if desperate, knowing it can go a long way. School isn’t all that important in the grand scheme of things, so his grades maintain at average. To him, poetry is not only something that is interesting, but it’s a good tool for charming. Bronze is a bit more important to him than brain, but he knows you’ve got to have both to succeed.

History: Welcome to sunny California, where being normal is weird. Noah grew up two miles away from the beach, and spent most of his time there. He surfed all day and went to the bomb fires at night. His parents, Jared and Gabriella, got married after finding out he, the ‘accident’, existed. All was well; they stayed together through the tough and stuck it out. They’re still married today, even if they fight more than they don’t. It doesn’t matter; Noah still won’t give up hope that deep down they love each other. Meh, even if they don’t, know one else will want them. He’s lived a pretty good life all things considered. His dad owns his own business in book editing, and spends his life at the office while having countless affairs with his secretaries. Meanwhile, his mom continues to spend her day getting manicures and buying dresses for her prized poodle. It’s all one, big, happy family really. Noah ignores any hidden problems that lie between the cracks. Boys will be boys. His parents were married at eighteen, so they were bound to have their differences.
Noah was popular with his peers, he was always the one to think of the great ideas and really get things going. It wasn’t afraid of inviting the girls to join in either; the more the merrier. He was in all sorts of wizarding sports, including muggle sports just for the fun of it. Track was and is his favorite, there’s nothing better than the wind in your hair. There were also the times when he just wanted to be alone. It was rare, but the last place anyone wanted to be was around Noah when he needed alone time. He was shy at first, but he quickly learned the only way for him to be accepted was to stand out. Noah got into a surfing accident when he was only nine, the kid had high hopes for himself and went out into far too large of waves. He almost died, and despite the advances in wizard medicine, he spent a week in acoma. When he woke up, he wasn’t quite the same. The shy little gawky kid who trailed after kids eight years older than him was gone, it was almost like he was a different person altogether. He had to be the center of attention, and nothing was too good for him. As an only child, he pretty much got away with anything. Not that he wanted to, but because causing trouble was a way of getting attention. It didn’t really work. At twelve, he got in a little over his head. Apparently using your magic to whisk away the muggle mayor’s house, and relocate it in the middle of the Sahara Desert, was no acceptable. Getting in a lot of trouble for underage wizardry, his parents gave up and sent him to live with his aunt overseas, in London. He got comfortable with new environment pretty fast; despite the fact he thought they had funny accents.
Noah spent half his free time at rock concerts and clubs he was underage for, living while he’s still young. Last year during summer break, Noah went back to visit California. He got in over his head when he fell in love with his best friend’s girlfriend. Noah being Noah, he had to be honest about it. Needless to say, he’s no longer a friend and Noah didn’t get the girl. He vowed to leave Cali behind and his parents. Who needed them anyway? They were like teenagers themselves. Now, Noah’s just trying to figure out how to grow up. At seventeen, he tries his best not to think too far into the future and just worry about now. Even he has concerns with what to do with his life, along with everyone else who knows him. There’s a fine line between right and wrong, and he’s not so sure he’s got it down yet.
ABOUT YOU Name: Kelsey Years of Experience: almost 5 Sample Post: Bellatrix was smirking behind everyone's back. She had a knack for knowing when others were talking about her and this was one of the times to be sure. It didn't bother her. Good or bad, Trix lavished in attention. It might have somthing to do with the fact that at home Cissy was always the one to get it. Maybe she was just born with it. Whatever the reason, she loved to recieve. Looking down at her robes, she tried to guess what it was about. With a continous smirk she reached down to her legs and pulled the robe even higher up.
She yawned daintily through Dumbledore. Bloody hell he could give a long enough speech to bore anyone. She glanced at the food once but decided against it. Every year Bellatrix went as long as she possibly could before finally giving into starvation and eating the school food. She didn't trust the school elves, they were....past off, second rate. Brushing a few stray strands from her face she looked up. Suddenly there was chatter and the hustle and bustle of the New year's feast was on. She hadn't even realized he'd finished. From the start Bella had tuned him out, only hearing a low droning sound in replacement.
"Don't insult me" Her words dripped, not touching either the eating utensils or the food that rested before her in large pots and things. "I'm not eating this" She looked discusted at it. Bella however had followed Narcissa's gaze to the head table earlier. "I know what you're thinking" She dropped her voice. "Slytherin's never going to win anything if they have something to do with it." Their head boy and girl were just going to have to counter balance them.
Crinkling her nose at the pathetic excuse for food created by the house elves, bellatrix pushed her plate away from her as if it was diseased. It was appalling when one had to eat so close to creatures who didn't ever take a bath. The only one she could put up with was her own, and even he needed to be slapped around a bit to keep in shape. She stood up from the table and properly pushed her chair back, glancing at the Slytherins around her that were taking part in the feast. Naturally, they were greedy. Still, she expected more from one who was in such an honored house. Hogwarts was certainly not what it used to be.

After bouncing between two houses, I had to decide Gryffindor. Let's face it, he's a sucker for attention - so, enjoy!
