Fashion never interested Alecto Carrow at all. It never had and it never would. If anything, Alecto liked wearing clothes that were out of fashion. This attitude of hers had caused many wars with her mother who wished Alecto was more lady-like. This would never happen, and anyone who knew her knew she was as lady like as a pig. Well, that's exaggerating it, but it's along the right lines. Alecto's attire was carefully put together so as to appear that she hadn't spent too much time thinking about what to wear. A difficult task it was. It actually took a while to figure out what wouldn't match and to coordinate a outfit as such. Even when she was in uniform, it was rather infuriating to figure out how to make the uniform stand out. This was done by wearing combat boots, or cutting holes in her robes. Anyways, Alecto had now figured out that she needed new clothes and had absolutely no money for it.
So how was she going to afford a new wardrobe? If she had listened to her mother in the past seventeen years, she would have lured the closest rich boy to buy her a new wardrobe. The only flaw with this plan was that she was not a gold digger and preferred being self-sufficient. Alecto loathed depending on anyone. It wasn't part of her character and also needed money to save up to buy a new house for her to move into after graduation. So now, she had two topics to debate with herself; either buy new clothes, or buy a new apartment. The apartment seemed to be a better option.
So, Alecto had decided to do some sort of business scheme to earn the money. Now, Hogwarts probably didn't allow prostitution, so that idea was a no go. In a corridor, all the way at the end she stood underneath a sign (which she had enchanted to float above her head) with the words: Touch it for one gallon printed on it. She had stolen a radio and rock music was playing rather loudly. In front of that radio, and underneath the sign, Alecto stood there with her shirt tied up to reveal her stomach.
She hadn't had many customers, yet that was about to change she figured while a boy made his way down the corridor nervously. He handed her a gold coin and immediately she put in in a pouch that was hanging off her hip. The boy reached for her chest and his hand was met with a smack. "That'll cost two extra! The stomach moron!" she growled and glared at the boy as he touched it and walked away. Honestly, Hogwarts was full of idiots.

Aceline was busy walking down the Hogwarts corridors, a bored expression on her pale, flawless face. Her manicured nails lightly scraped the brick wall as she walked by, her hair blowing out behind her. She resembled an angel- almost- if it werent for the smirk on her lip's and the mischief shining bright in her light blue eyes. Her long too big school robe billowed out behind her as she picked up her pace, reveiling her Hogwarts skirt which was carefully cut and sewed at least five inches above her knee. Adorning her feet were her knew Ferragamo kitten heels, a metallic black that contrast brightly with the dull shade of her uniform. Her green Slytherin tie was tied around her waist and her face was made up with glossy pink lips and black Kohl liner. Borderline slutty with just a bit of gorgeous-ness.
Aceline mother was always buying her new clothes-and Aceline always returned them in shreds. She preferred to design her own clothes. Unless we were talking about purses...or shoes....Aceline could not live with out Dooney and Fendi! Her shirts were always dyed, tied, and shredded. Her skirts were always cut, sewed, and strung. Her mother hated it. Said she was wasting all of her hard earned money on Aceline foolishness. Puh-lease! Aceline mother was always too drunk to get off the couch. Aceline paused mommentarily when she head a girls angered voice. "That'll cost two extra! The stomach moron!"
Aceline snickered as she pulled her blonde hair up into a black lace ribbon- cut from the sleeve of one of her 'reject' shirts. Curiosity got the best of Aceline as she follwed the voice down the hallways, leading into a dimly lit room. "This had better not be some prosto shit.." she muttered under her breath, pulling her robes close around her. Standing at the end of the hallway was a girl, pretty, Aceline noted approvingly, with a Slytherin badge. Her shirt was tied tight, revealing her stomach and a sign floated ove rher head. Aceline read it and a small sneer formed on her face, contorting all of her features.
Was this girl really that desperate for money? Or did she just need a quick fix... Either way...she wasnt going to get that at Hogwarts. Most of the kids were broke and the ones who had money dahm shure werent about to share. The only desirable guys here were Regulus and Kalib and Aceline and Indi had them (for the most part) on complete lock. So what the hell did this bit-girl want? Aceline decided to find out.
She walked over to the girl with a small, mischevious, smile, put four gallions (?) in her pouch and touched the girls stomach with her ice cold hand.
"So..is this where Hogwarts B listers and newbies spend their time?" Aceline question, removing her hand from the girls waist. No need for the girl to think she was interested. Like that. Aceline didnt wait for her to answer.
"I'm Aceline, by the way. It's a pleasure." Aceline wasnt quiet shure where these manners came from, but she was glad she had them. This girl looked like a fighter and Aceline was so not in the mood.

It had been a rather slow day for Alecto. She only had three gallons in her pouch right now and was no where near getting an apartment. Of course, she could always go out during break and get a job, but that would be very un-Alecto like. She prefered earning money in some unusual way. If this wasn't unusual, she had no idea what was. There was no argument when it came to Alecto's future. Surely the girl would end up doing something shameless, such as posing for a trashy mens magazine or she could become a make up artist...which was too bland for her. Her parents often wondered about what was to happen to her and this worried them. True, Alecto herself didn't know what was going to happen in her future, but there was time for that.
The girl could have sworn that that would have been the last customer for the day, until she heard footsteps. Then she realized these footsteps were coming specifically from heels. Shit. That meant that some teacher was coming down to investigate. Detention, she was headed for detention and probably worse. Would she have to see the headmaster? Alecto loathed Dumbledore. True, everyone loved him yet she couldn't see why. He was just so stupid and always supporting these pro-muggle rights. Sickening.
Alecto arched her eyebrow as a fellow Slytherin put some money in her bag. She smirked as she realized how much money was put in there. Four gallons, nice. That was more than she had bargained for. Of course, she would have prefered her hand not to be as icy...but she took what she could get. The thought of a new apartment flashing in her head again and again.
She chuckled a bit as Aceline called her a B-lister. Perfect. Alecto loved being called all these rude things. Surprising, yes, but that's how she was. Alecto couldn't get enough of being called a tramp, slut, or anything of that nature. It was wonderful. "I'm Alecto and back at 'cha." She looked the girl over and couldn't help but admire her style. She had seen her before in the common room, but never really stopped to say hello. "I didn't think you'd be the type to be into this sort of business."

Aceline smiled at Alecto and didnt bother to hide the fact that she was studying her. Deciding Aceline approved she pulled the ribbon from her hair and let it fall over her shoulder. She had the tendency to mess with her hair.
"I didn't think you'd be the type to be into this sort of business." Aceline smiled her notorious smile, the one that flashed all her shiny white teeth. Aceline felt the insult rise up in her throat- another habbit - but bit it back down. Why ruin a good thing before it even becomes...anything? She relaxed her face and toyed with her hair. "Hmm...It passes time. Plus I'm shure Dumbledore would throw a right fit if we started a mini prosto ring in the third floor corridor." She smiled at the thought. Aceline honored Dumbledore's values and beliefs but all the 'support the muggle' shit was really getting old.
Aceline didnt reconize the girl at all, though a feeling that she seen her before tugged in the back of her mind. Aceline shrugged it off, but still watched the girl pretending to do otherwise. She was so...different. In the best way possible.
"So..what's with the money? Joining a 'save the house elfs' charity? Or just bored?" Aceline said this with honest curiousity.

Save the house elves? As if she would ever be caught doing that. Why would she need to save the house elves? They were to serve their masters until death, that's the way nature intended it to be. Who was she to challenge mother Earth? Well, this was pushing it as Alecto would challenge anyone practically. "No, no dear. This money is going to a charity. The get-Alecto-a-home charity." Alecto bit her lip and thought of how she could make this as cheap as possible. She could say that she was homeless and had no where to go, but this was a lie. Everyone knew..thanks to Amycus...that the Carrows most certainly were not homeless.
Alecto turned around and turned down the volume of the music so she could hear better. She was going to go deaf if she kept it up so high. Hearing was nice, and Alecto had no intention of it going away...ever. And the music wasn't attracting any new customers, so what id it matter? She liked to think that the first three customers were drawn to her like moths to a flame. She realized then that it would have been better to do this in the Slytherin common room. Any mudblood could have just waltzed down here and touched her. She was cheap, but not that cheap.
"How did you hear about this little....event...I have going on? Did someone tell you?" she asked excitedly. Hopefully there would be a person who was going around telling all the students about it. Then it hit her that she should have told Rita Skeeter and the word would have gotten around much faster.

Aceline couldnt help but laugh at the expression on Alecto's face at the 'house elf' comment. "Don't worry love..I think you have better taste then that." Aceline did, too. She wasnt shure why certain people drew her in- Trinity, Kalib, and now Alecto. But they did. She sincerly wished they wouldnt. "No, no dear. This money is going to a charity. The get-Alecto-a-home charity."
Aceline smiled again. "What? You don't want to stay at Hogwarts forever?!" She said this with a small sneer in her voice, something she mastered. Nobody ever realizes how truly hard it is to look completely happy and still sound like your about to die. Really. "You wouldnt turn down a donation, would you?" Aceline questioned, meeting the girls eyes. "I think your a lot more worthy of money than those rat's with ears.." she was, of course, referring to the house elf's. Aceline broke their gaze.
"How did you hear about this little....event...I have going on? Did someone tell you?" Aceline scoffed at the Alecto's exitement.
"Fortunatly, no. I was just wondering around, bored out of my mind, and heard you screaming at some little twit. If you want word to get out, tell Skeets....She's bound to tell everyone.
Aceline probely would too. Eventually.

"Of course I do," she replied with a evil smirk.
Stay at Hogwarts forever? Seven years was more than enough. Hell, Alecto would have dropped out during her third year had it not been for parents. Apparently, she was ruining the name of Carrow enough and dropping out would be the last straw. As if the name Carrow had any significance. In the entire wizarding world, it didn't.
"Donations are more than welcome." Alecto scratched the back of her kneck as she pondered this. Maybe she could set up some sort of fake charity gig and take money from that. But it would never work, people knew of Alecto's reputation and no one would donate. Of course, there were those nerds who never set foot outside of the library, maybe they didn't know who Alecto was. She was bound to get some money out of them. Then again, there was the litle problem that a teacher would catch her. She didn't really care, but losing those Hogsmeade visits wasnt at the toop of her to-do list. "Yes, I'd like to think that I have a higher place in society than those things." It was always nice to speak to someone who wasn't pro-elves-rights. Those people were mostly Slytherins.
WHY hadn't she told Rita about this? With good reason, Rita would proabaly turn it into this huge scandal and blow it out of proportion. Not to mention it would get to the teachers ears even faster. Hogwarts didn't have its lackage of snitches and those people would do what they could to earn their house even more points. Would someone even earn house points for ratting out someone else? Well, if they did, they would have to deal with Alecto, and no one wanted to do that...really. "Yes, well, maybe she'll wander on down this hallway and get some information. I'm hoping she does."

Aceline smiled at Alecto and pulled a small beaded clutch out of her baggy school robes. The silver beads reflected against the walls and made it look like the light was dancing. Aceline dug through the small bag and threw some lipgloss and tissues over her shoulder before dumping it out on the floor. Coins, beads, and scraps of papers came flying out of the bag and Aceline bent down and scooped the coins up, leaving everything else on the floor as she snapped the clutch shut and tucked it back in her robes. She counted five Gallions and two knuts. She handed them to Alecto.
"That's all I have." she said with a sheepish grin. "I have more in the commons, if you want. I can't really say I mind." Aceline always had so much money that she hardly ever appreciated it. She couldnt imagine herself going broke. That was almost as bad as mudbloods ruling the world. Aceline involuntarily shuddered.
"Yes, I'd like to think that I have a higher place in society than those things." Aceline laughed. "Everyone has a higher place in society than them. It's a common fact. Anybody who things otherwise is some elf loving blood traitor. God, life would be so much easier without people like them" Aceline was of course referring to anybody who wasnt a pure blood. They were like dirt to her. Meant only to be walked on.
"Yes, well, maybe she'll wander on down this hallway and get some information. I'm hoping she does." Aceline lowered her voice as though she was about to tell Alecto some big secret. "I'd really rather she didnt. I mean, have you ever actually had a conversation with her? Her life is completely boring. No wonder she waste all her time talking about people like you and me." Aceline laughed and started talking normal. "But I suppose if a scandel is what you want-Skeeter is the best one to go to. Not my personal preference but-hey. It's whatever suits you I suppose."

Alecto's jaw dropped as she produced the money. Two galleons was alot to Alecto. She had been brought up and told never to accept money from strangers, or those who weren't family. The Carrows apparently had alot of money, but where this money was, Alecto didn't know. Besides she and Aceline weren't exactly strangers. And who was she to refuse charity? Good deeds were running low in the world, and Alecto should incourage them instead of not doing so. "Thanks!" she beamed. At this rate she would have her own place by end of term, hopefully.
She couldn't help but appreciate Aceline. It was like she believed everything Alecto did. Those people were disgusting and dirt. Alecto also liked how she didn't appear to be like every other pure blood she met. They all were proper and perfect and nauseatingly "good". In her opinion, Aceline wasn't like this...she thought. It was a first impression anyways. "I know, I wish they would disappear."
She thought this until Aceline mentioned Rita in such a manner. Alecto loved Rita, she was a fun person to talk to. Alecto had to be the only person in the world who didn't get offended if Rita put out some rumor of her. In fact, if anything, she would bask in it. Attention was her thing. "I've had many conversations with her. I think she's a rather interesting person. 'm sorry if you don't feel the same way, but I like her anyways."

Aceline could actually see herself having a friendship with Alecto, something she rarely had with anybody. Shure, Aceline was known to have admirers but she considered herself a lone wolf. Aceline frowned at the thought of comparing her to a wolf. She backtracked her thought process. She liked to be alone. No one could understand her like she herself could and few were worthy enough to bask in her presence anyway. Aceline thought, mabey, Alecto understood her. Even if it was just a little bit. Was it enough?
Aceline shoved her hands in her robes, suddenly feeling very shy. She wanted Alecto to like her, for some insane reason. Alecto was the exact opposite of the people she was raised to socialize with. Prim, proper, that was Aceline's life. Alecto...well, Aceline's parents wouldnt be very pleased, to say the least. But Aceline was used to that. After the whole scandel at her old school- disgust? Dislike? Story of Aceline's life. "I know, I wish they would disappear." Aceline couldnt help but smile at the thought.
"I'm not trying to be mean..." yes, she was "And I get that it's not like they asked for this fate, but god, shouldnt there be some law to like, lock things like that up? People like those? It's like their polluting the air." Aceline took a breath. "And then we have people like Dumbledore who actually support them. Want them to live and...interact with people like us. It's ridiculous. We have all these classes that are saying to spare their lifes and whatever but why should we? Their so..so...dirty."
Aceline was semi-disapointed to here Alecto diffend Rita. Although Aceline probely would have done the same. She just was stunned at somebody standing up to her. Not many people had done that. Those who did rarely walked away without a scratch. Aceline and Rita were far from friends. More like frenemies....they argued more than anything. They bonded through their gossip and their love of other people's troubles. But at this momment, Aceline didnt like Rita so she just shook her head in disapproval.
"Yes...I guess it's always nice to expand ones horizons. Rita does have her momments...however rare." Aceline said, somewhere between an apoligy and another insult. She changed the subject.
"I havent really seen you around...new?" It was true-Aceline rarely saw Alecto but her name was in almost every conversation at the Slytherin table. Mabey it's time to see what all the fuss is about...
