I am suffering from chronic distraction. So if you want to cooperate in my reccuperation, answer this, for Morgana's sake.

That's what I'm calling it nowadays.
And that, by itself, is enough to make it official.
Hello, Ludo. Long time no see. I am absolutely fabulous, as you can see. What about you? Been hiding?

Well I suppose I can't argue with you there. Chronic Distraction it is then.
Me? Whatever would have to hide from? No, I've been quite well just a bit busy. What with all the Pro quidditch teams now throwing contracts in face for next year, I tell you Marlene sometimes I wish I just weren't so talented.

P.S. since sarcasm sometimes doesn't translate all that well on paper, that was a joke.

You? Busy? With anything other than 'partying'? Right. You almost had me there, Bagman. But still, there's no excuse whatsoever for neglecting me so. You know, I'm high maintenance ;]

You might be surprised to know I'm not 'partying' all that much. Just like making people think I am, helps my reputation. Besides if I was partying I would have though t I would run into you in a person, much sooner rather than on paper as we are now.
But your absolutely right, there's no excuse and I beg your apologies. Better yet how bout I make it up to you? How bout a two person part tomorrow night at the broomsticks?

Huh. Who would've guessed. Given up on wasting yourself? And well, you see, I've taken a break from social life myself. Always seeing the same people makes me sick.
You're only forgiven if you buy the first round of butterbeers, love.

Just taking a break is all. Apparently drinking is bad for you, who knew? Besides like you said, the same people get boring. You ever notice how you hardly ever see the people you party with, unless your partying with them?
Fair enough, maybe I'll buy second round as well I got a little extra money saved up from my recent absence from the social scene. We can celebrate our reformed partying ways.

But darling, I never said I had reformed. That simply takes too much effort. I just grew tired of it all for a while. After that, let's see how things work out.
I'm so taking up your offer, so you can't back off now. You're stuck with me :]

Well I suppose you have me there two rounds it is. At least you can still help me celebrate in my reform. After all a celebratory drink is useless if you drink alone.

Exactly. No one should drink alone. And what better company than the one and only Marls? Psh, you're so lucky.

I won't even try to deny it. I would say whatever could I do to repay your kindness, but I'm already buying the first two rounds for our celebration, and I'm running out of galleons.
So shall we say 9ish? And would you like to travel together or meet up at the pub.

I'm trusting you to be a gentleman, so I'll ignore that question. It's a fact we'll be arriving together. That way, you can ensure the fact that you will be seen with me. That's always a plus, you know. And yes, 9ish is fine by me. I still really can't believe we're actually talking again, you know Bagman. You have a lot to make up to.

I should have known better, I was simply unsure if you wanted to be seen entering with me, but I am glad you would lower your standards on my account.
I know, Love, hence my buying the first two rounds. The rest will be made up through wonderful conversation I assure you.
In true gentleman's fashion lets say I pick you up out side your commonroom and we can then either apparate or enjoy a lovely little walk, or a little of both, whichever you prefer.

Of course you should have known better. But you're already forgiven. Don't worry your head over it. I'm on a forgiving mood.
And please, make it a good evening. I'm so tired of hearing people blabber on about inane situations. It's really tiresome. Though I doubt anything you could say could be inane, Bagman. A walk sounds just perfect. Apparating makes me shudder.
