"Well you talking with words that I don't understand, to me that counts as funny," Regulus defended himself. He would have persisted on insulting the language if it were not for the fact that Vas seemed to not only understand, but also speak the same strange tongue. "Where did that even come from?" Reguuls said offended by the blatant unprovoked attacks. Even anyone had mental problem it was Bella, and they had nothing to do with retardation. "And I'm glad you finally admitted that I have a pretty face," Reg smirked getting back to his usual arrogance.
"Oh, Bella really, must we do this now?" Regulus asked whining as though he were a child. Bella and her silly little Unbreakable vow. What the two of them really needed was a vow of silence. Of course then Regulus would smile the wrong way and Bella would flip out at him. Honestly, Reg usually didn't mind people hating him, it was usually quite amusing, but Bella had near killed him for practically no reason at all other than arrogance. A trait he rather prized.
And then Bella would occasionally have slips of the tongue like saying he had a pretty face that would force Regulus to wonder. Did Bella really hate him, just for being him? Or was it perhaps that she hated herself for falling, even just slightly, for the charms of the serpentine prince causing her to lash out at him without reason? Whatever the reason it needed to stop, unfortunately the Unbreakable vow was only meant to stop physical fighting, not the bickering that so often plagued the two.

“I could care less what that stupid creature thinks of me!” Vas retorted angrily, emphasizing the fact that she was indeed going to refer to the squid as stupid. She saw no purpose for it to be here, aside from being able to tell foolish first years that if you got to close to the waters edge it would lash out and gobble you right up; that was always fun. And, in Vas’s mind, it was entirely possible. She didn’t care how many people swam daily in that lake – if the squid was in it, there was a chance of dying by it. Hadn’t Bella just tried to provoke it into killing her? It was capable of killing, if it really wanted to. And then, “Enchanting,” Vas scoffed, rolling her eyes for arrogant effect. “He hasn’t done anything with me!” It almost hurt to say it, a silly reaction. Of course he didn’t care about her; why would Regulus try to do anything but use her? Of what could he possible gain by showing any interest in a fourth year Ravenclaw? It was painful to relive the thoughts she often dwelt upon – but she wasn’t about to admit any of it to Bella; not even she would know.
“Hey!” she scowled the both of them, her face scrunching into offense. “I’m right here you know! Yeesh!” If they were going to talk about her like she was some sort of disease they might at least show some ounce of respect for the fact that she was clearly within hearing distance. It surprised her that Regulus seemed to be the one agreeing with her, but his usual aura returned quickly, his ever infamous smirk lining his lips, “And I’m glad you finally admitted that I have a pretty face.” Well anyone who thought otherwise was blind in Vas’s opinion – not that she was going to openly admit to that…even if Regulus already knew of her infatuation with him. She wasn’t very good at hiding it.
“Vas, are you good at doing the Unbreakable Vow?” Well that was random; before Vas even had time to stare at Bella in obvious wonder, Regulus near-whined out “Oh, Bella really, must we do this now?” Regulus even knew what Bella was talking about? Well that was it – they had some reason for disliking each other so much, because now Vas was the one left out in the dark. She felt oddly violated. “Enough I suppose,” she replied grudgingly, concerned what it might entail if she out rightly admitted she knew the process, “Why?” Somehow any “vow” that involved both Bella and Regulus sounded…fishy. It bonded them in a way, which Vas was fully set against. Well, if she were being honest, anything that bonded Regulus to anyone but her she found irrational. And that in it self was irrational. Vas let out an irritable sigh, hoping it played off her words as opposed to her thoughts.

Bella froze, had she really just admitted that Regulus had a pretty face... "Ah...well..no..." she said, struggling trying to find the right answer "Oh, nevermind.." It was simply vile for her to have said that. It was disgusting that those words had came from her own mouth. Bella resisted against the urge to hit Regulus, "Filthy Slytherin...Vas how could you love such a...a....creature said Bella, ignoring Vas's comment about the Giant Squid. A smirk stretched across Bella's face at the sound of Regulus's protest, "Yes, we do," she said coldly, her eyes switching to a unstable green. She turned to Vas, "Regulus has to promise not ever fight me again..and in return I have to as well..and the Vow will make it official and permanent." She could tell from Vas's reaction that she was thinking more of a engagement vow...Bella smiled, "Vas the vow isn't anything romantic..and if it was I would kill myself for even suggesting it..." she said assuringly. From the look on Regulus's face, she could tell that he was beginning to wonder about something...concerning her romantic life. She clamped her mouth shut, biting her tongue and struggling against the urge to snap. How dare he think that she loved him!!! Bella Evangeline loved no one....or did she?

Regulus just smirked at Bella as she struggled to find words. He was going to make a comment, but she seemed to be doing a fair job of embarrassing herself without his help. Besides he could tell Bella was ready to hit him and decided not to provoke her. Well maybe it wasn't so much he could see Bella wanted to hit him as it was he just automatically assumed she always wanted to him. Probably wasn't too far off either.
Then they went back to talking their silly little made up language again. He only assumed they were talking about him, why else would they need to be talking in words he didn't understand. "You know unless you tell me what you two are saying I'm just to assume your arguing over who likes me more," Regulus smirked. That ought to make them stop. That or they would both yell at him...well he actually got the feeling that Vas did like him though he doubted she was about to come out and admit it. It really was rather annoying to not understand half of the conversation, especially when it was about you.
"Bella this is ridiculous, I didn't want to fight you the first time," Regulus protested. Of course now Vas was bound to feel left out of the conversation unless Bella had told her. "In case you didn't know," Regulus began. "Your dear friend tried to kill me in the forest and now she wants to do the vow so I won't attack her," Reg explained figuring he might as well let Vas in on what the Vow was for as Bella had been a little vague. "I just saved your life isn't that proof enough that I don't want to kill you?" Reg added in protest as he turned back to Bella. Reg was not a big fan of anything as permanent as the unbreakable vow.

Vas was startled Bella world even dare put it into such blunt terms, even if it was true: but love? More like an overly obsessive schoolgirl crush. It made her feel slightly better about the whole matter when put into those terms. “Regulus isn’t a creature,” Vas sneered back, “If anything is a creature it would be that squid of yours – tell me, have you sent out the wedding invitations yet?” She was going to argue further until Regulus butted in making it evident he didn’t appreciate their secret language. Vas blushed in anger and embarrassment. “Sorry Reg,” she said in full English, attempting a smile. She was still a little too worked up over Bella to make it look believable. “We weren’t discussing you actually, we were discussing Bella’s undying love for that thing in the lake.” She glared at her friend, their squabble becoming fiercer.
Despite the negative feelings going around, Vas felt better being a bit more informed. She couldn’t exactly see the point of the vow though, confusion momentarily ruling over her anger, “Why don’t you tow just grow up and stop fighting all together?” Vas glowered, not even bothering to hide up her remarks in their language. Criticizing Regulus was a big step for her, finally settling on one flaw; but he shared the flaw with Bella: they were both over-ego-prone students that had way too big of pride issues. “Let’s just skip the vow and let me defeat you’re big heads differently, shall we?”
Out of spite she pulled her wand out and threatened the pair, glaring at both of them. “Honestly, does it really take something so final to keep you to at bay? I’ll knock some sense into you two, rest assured.” Vas considered the option of actually going through with it, but she couldn’t ever find it in herself to harm one of her best friends, nor did she even want to consider what damage it might do to Regulus’s attractive face. It didn’t matter how much Bella denied it: he did have a pretty face.

Bella stood flustered and blinking furiously at her own stupidity. No doubt Reg was starting to guess that his enchanting green eyes had managed to charm the uncharmnable little Evangeline princess, W're not talking about sometthing as disgusting and vulgar as you and besides if I ever caught myself fighting over you I'd kill myself.." snapped Bella angrily. Even though he was probably annoyed that he couldn't understand, he hadn't stated his point clear enough. And th Evangeline princess was NOT a merciful person...especially to flithy slytherins...Bella set her jaw, I do not like Regulus Black. I do not like Regulus Black.. she whispered in her mind. Ella laughed, How simply nice,Bella, you've fallen for the forked tongue Prince... she laughed Don't deny this wonderous feeling. You know you like him..
Vas, you fall to easily.. said Bella, flicking her wand easily out of her pocket. "Accio, wand." she said, pointing her wand at Vas' wand "Don't point you wand at me" Friend or not, Vas should know better than to provoke her temper and her alter ego...
Proof?..."My life isn't worth squat, she snapped, her temper popping out of no where. Why she was so annoyed was a actual wonder...but for some reason..it wasn't...

((Saying Vas' wand flew to you is powerplaying, just FYI))
Regulus snorted. "Yea, well just don't expect me to save you again," He said rolling his eyes, looking away from Bella. She was such an insufferable prat. He saved the girls life and she still had the audacity to insult him. His fingers played over the hilt of his wand as he gazed out at the water. This is why it's so much more rewarding to be the villain, to seek power, harm rather than save. People may despise you, but they would also be forced to respect you, or suffer dire consequences. This was the power the power the dark lord possessed, power that would soon also belong to the Serpentine Prince.
Regulus rolled his eyes again as Vas threatened them. As though he would be scared of a 4th year Ravenclaw girl, especially after the days earlier events...so much destruction in so little time. What caught his eye however was Bella drawing her wand, which instinctively forced him to draw his wand aiming at Bella, "Expelliarmus." Bella seemed to distracted with her stupid language, plus the distance would make the quick spell literally impossible to block and once Bella was relieved of her wand she could return Vas and they could all go back to pretending they actually still cared.
"Then go jump back in the water. Don't worry I won't save you this time," Regulus shot back. If Bella was looking for pity she had better look some place else. She didn't think her life was worth anything, then fine. He and Vas had been having a fine conversation when she came along and ruined it with her ridiculous accusations and suicide attempts. Not to mention she was acting like a right git to Vas who was supposed to be her friend.

OOC: I’ll go with it this time, but that is power-playing Bella. Please give reaction time on my part.
Before Vas was really conscious of it, she’d allowed her temper to rule her actions as well as her words. “Bella, this is stupid!” she spat, finger tightly clasped around her wand. Her hands were actually beginning to hurt because of the effort she was putting into holding the dang thing. She’d just about opened her mouth to retort but something else happened instead: “Accio wand!” Suddenly the stick of wood that had practically been giving her splinters flew out of her hand, only to do some odd rebound, “Expelliarmus!” Was her mind playing tricks on her? Her wand landed a few feet off, and already Vas quickly snatched it up to glare at the pair of them. “What was that for?!” she demanded, near shouting now. It wasn’t good to try and fight Bella back, especially with her…duel personality of sorts. It was quite the advantage when you were on her side, but the minute you were in aim, the odd power wasn’t so amazing anymore.
“Then go jump back in the water. Don’t worry I won’t save you this time.” Now, strictly speaking, Vas shouldn’t be agreeing with Regulus – I mean, he’d bluntly just said that if Bella tried to go and off herself again, he’d just stand there and watch – he’d probably laugh a little too. But with her frustrations running a little too high, she let out a revolted groan. “You know, today was going just fine up until a few minutes ago. Now look!” She waved her free hand pathetically, gesturing towards Bella and Regulus in turn. “It’s wrong to point fingers but honestly, what does it matter if I wanna have a chat with Reg?” she questioned Bella, trying to point out the obvious: the first time I get to finally talk to him and you’re trying to ruin it for me? Bella knew her better then that, and even if she’d always been annoyed when Vas would go on and on about Regulus, didn’t she know today could have been perfect? He finally talks to her…and she has her wand pointed at him.
Vas sighed irritably, wanting nothing more then to drop the matter entirely but held her wand out anyways. It was times like these when she wished she could knock just a little bit of sense into the people about her…with her fists (it was all the same anyways – wand, fist…same result). Unexpectedly Vas chuckled under her breath, shaking her head. With dry humor lathering each word, she muttered “And you thought you’d escaped trouble for today, hadn’t you?”
