"Hehehe, I think everyone has. Potions are meant for doing, not for writing an essay on it." There were some classes that were more hands-on material, and in Drew's opinion Potions was one of them. Take History of Magic for example. Who wouldn't like going back in time and watching the renactment of something in magical history? It'd be a lot better than sitting around listening to the dull drones of a professor. How much could they know, when they weren't there themselves.
Now Drew doesn't try to make trouble. I know I've just shocked you but its true. The reason he causes it so much is because he wants to learn, just in his own way. He challenges authority, pushes the limits to learn something new. As you can see, it isn't the best approach. At least he gets top marks on all the tests. He shrugged his shoulders as Bella ran up the stairs to grab her things, hand resting on the doorknob.
He'd lied, again. Drew wasn't going anywhere near the library. He loved the library don't get him wrong, but he had somewhere else in mind. The second Isabella returned he smirked and walked out the front door. Actually, it was lights out in ten minutes. Either she'd lost track of time or she didn't care. He walked down the halls and stepped on the moving stairs, letting it carry them to the main floor. Drew slid down the banister the rest of the way and headed towards the front doors. Clearly not the way to the library, more of the direction to the Forbidden Forest.

Bella was almost sad when she realized Drew wasn’t around – she hated walking around the corridors by herself, it was something of a safety precaution. However, she smiled when she was him vanish through the door.
Assuming naturally he had been going to the Library of course, she’d glance the appropriate way. Confused that he wasn’t there, the shock when she saw him gliding down the stairs was greater then it probably should be. Something of outrage crossed her face.
As some first years passed her angered expression, she shoved her bag into a girl’s hand. “Take that into the common room; just…set it by a chair or something.” She wasn’t exactly sure why the students were so frightened. It was simple enough of an order, an order yes, but a simple one. She barely heard one of them shouting after her and she ran down the stairs: “Don’t you know it’s almost time to”- His voice was lost.
“Drew!” she whispered frantically, finally just barely catching up with him. “Where on earth are you going?” Perhaps he didn’t hear her. Frowning, Bella repeated: “Hellllooo? Drew! Where are you going?!” She had no idea what time it was but the windows from outside were letting off very little light. Was it really almost dark out there?
OCC: Ha ha. A freaked out Bella. Fun to play. *Excited*

Drew heard Isabella bossing some first years around upstairs and it made him smile. It didn't seem like something she would do. He also heard her call to him, though he continued to make his way to the front door, stopping right in front of it. Turning around he actually laughed as she ran up to him. He knew how to push her, and it was something he couldn't help but do.
The Forbidden Forest was in fact exactly where he was going. He liked the forest, and when he went he conviently "forgot" they weren't supposed to be there. After all it wasn't the best example when a prefect broke the rules. That's why he did it when no one else was around. Seeing the outrage on Bella's face was classic and he almost wished he had a camera. "Out" He shrugged like it was nothing unusal. "I changed my mind, I'm going to take a walk." He smirked and pulled the door open, silence coming from the outside.
"Hogwarts is always better at night." Drew pulled a flirtatious smile. "You don't have to follow me if you don't want to. Just thought I'd make the offer." Drew stepped out, leaving the door open for her as he faced her from the other side. Bella's face was in shock, whereas Drew's was perfectly calm and collected. "It's got to be better than homework" He pointed out.

Bella's fury only seemed to increase when Drew finally stopped (and after nearly plowing him over due to her fast pace and his sudden stop) to see his pronounce smirk. It was hidden, but it was there. Very obviously in her mind. She couldn’t help it. What did he think he was doing?! “Out”! Who went “out” at this time of night?!
“‘Hogwarts is better at night,’” she repeated questioningly. She hated when this happened to her. An offer. This was not an offer. It was a light command that was cleverly disguised as an offer. He knew full well she wouldn’t tattle on him, but he also knew she wouldn’t let him go out there by himself. From her stand point, Bella really had no option. Both of them seemed fully aware of that. Still…
“I- Drew- Do you-” Bella seemed incapable of forming a full sentence. Her homework seemed all the more important, but she knew there was no convincing Drew of that. Crap, crap, crap! Taking a deep breath and momentarily closing her eyes, he continued – how could he not be done? – “It’s got to better then homework.” Her eyes flew back open. But his steady expression, really, it forced her to accept the facts.
Unbelieving that she was about to break who knew how many school rules in one night, she sighed and stepped up to his side in defeat, ready to keep up pace with his stroll. “After you.”

Every second there was a new emotion on her face, most of them not good. It was funny to watch the different things go on in her head, as you can almost see her working them out and reasoning. Drew usually didn't think about things too much, he just did them. He wasn't the type to think things through unless they were really important. It was his last year, he wanted to have fun, so to him, the idea of getting caught breaking the rules really wasn't that important anymore.
"Do I.....?" He trailed off, she hadn't finished her second. She was trying to find an excuse to break the rules now. He waited patiently, yawning once to add to the moment. When she said those two words he smiled, both knowing that Isabella wouldn't be able to live with herself if she didn't come. Either way she wasn't really getting what she wanted. But Drew was. "So what do you know about the school's forest?" He asked casually as he put his hands in his pockets.
The moon was out, shining bright through the night. Everything was silent except for the occasional sound of the trees swaying. Every step brought them closer to the boarders of the forest. He conviently said forest, and left out the forbidden bit, though it was a known fact that that was what it was. Once he was to the first of the trees he pulled out his wand, you couldn't see anything beyond that. "Lumos" He wand lit, lighting the way a few feet in front of them.

The forest. Sly. Very cunning. Do you seriously think I wouldn’t notice?! Bella could not seem to master her thoughts. Her head was spinning. Just by walking out those doors, she had already broken a rule. And ‘the forest’ well of course she was well aware you shouldn’t go their either, whether by night or day.
But then she seemed to focus on the pros of being outside at night, which in her entire existence at Hogwarts she had never done. Only seen it through windows, wishing she had the courage to go there. The moon was high and it cast a faint glow on everything, a magic that not enough the best wizard could master.
“I know we’re not supposed to be in there, but since I’ve already said goodbye to my morals I guess that doesn’t mean a whole lot anymore,” Bella finally answered, surprised how her voice drifted away into the breeze. “And that there are bad creatures, but I’ve also heard of good things in there too. Unicorns for instance. Saw one once, it was amazing. It was so beautiful, I could hardly stand it.” She gave a thoughtful sigh, wishing she had touched it when she had had the chance.
But they were near the edge of the trees now, giving Bella a certain thrilling, yet scared, rush she could never remember having before. Quickly following Drew’s lead, she pulled her wand out and lit it silently. That was one thing she’d managed to learn the previous year that she loved.
“How many times have you done this?” she asked, her voice finally relaxed. Whatever came from this would come. She could do nothing about it now.

"That's the spirit" He patted her on the shoulder and smirked, stepping over a branch only for his foot the crunch on the next. Drew looked back once to make sure there was no one scouting for students out at night. He looked up to see the Ravenclaw tower lights go out. Right, so now they'd broken the second rule. Not a problem, they'd just need to be....alert on their way back. "Unicorns? You think there's some of those in there do you?" He smiled, hard to tell if he was teasing or not.
All the trees looked the same, which meant you had to stay on the "path" or you'd have a hard time getting back. "Would it worry you if I told you never?" Drew grinned behind her back, he'd been in here many times. Twice last year, and this would be his third time this year already. Drew held his wand at eye level but it was relaxed, even when they heard howling in the distance. "They won't bother you if you don't bother them" He commented, continuing on to get deeper in.
He froze for a moment when he heard a sound, turning he saw, of course, what are the odds, a flint of white pass through the trees. "You can go find it if you want...I'll stay here. They don't really like me" He chuckled. Unicorns didn't get on well with guys, only females. Most learned that in Care of Magical Creatures, and he learned that here. "I like coming out here, it's not as scary as it looks, really."

Bella gave an exasperated sigh. “Well, I can’t really fight it, can I?” She surprised herself by laughing a little. ‘The spirit’…hmpth. Was there such a thing when you were breaking school rules? Another shock came to her when immediately her mind responded with a yes. She liked being out here. That in itself scared her.
“Never?” she gasped before Bella could stop herself. Being in the forest must have rattled her brains. She knew full well he must have been out here before this. It just…had taken her longer to realize it then normal, that’s all.
“They won’t bother you if you don’t bother them.” Bella could feel her stomach clenched. So…they were out here…creatures… Bella couldn’t bring herself to even think it. Drew’s with me, I’ll be fine. He wouldn’t bring me out here if it wasn’t safe. Bella’s eye widened. She could not believe that thought had just occurred to her. Was she insane? On any normal day, it would have been ‘Why did you follow him? Maybe he really didn’t want you to come, maybe there was something dangerous? This is the Forbidden Forest after all…’ Yes, it was decided – she was going insane.
Her stomach clenched again, when an even closer whooshing sound filtering with the sound of clear trotting. She could not believe it. She glanced back at Drew, who clearly was giving her his permission. Why do I need it? She was beginning to accept she needed to rely on Drew for her peace at mind. She was in a new world; this wasn’t school where she could lecture him on bookwork. She had to take everything he said seriously, because he was all that she had.
“Be right back then,” she smiled, finding herself following quietly after the unicorn. She had been at it for nearly five minutes and had nearly given up hope when it trotted past her again. Between it and her wand, that was the only source of light. She couldn’t see Drew’s lit wand anymore.
She cooed quietly and heard the hoof beats again… “Oh my God,” she whispered. It was beautiful, just like she remembered it to be. Carefully doing everything she had during her lesson about them years back, she extended her hand towards it muzzle… The creatures eyes seemed on fire, watching her closely. And then, to her great astonishment, it bobbed his muzzle into her palm. “Wow…” She breathed. She wasn’t sure how long she had been with the marvelous animal, but decided it was best she get back. But as the unicorn disappeared, she realized she couldn’t. Crap.
She was lost.

(wow so long, beautiful. Lol though I probably won't be able to get mine like that)
"Don't fight it, embrace the urge" He rolled his eyes, using one of those random lines you often heard in muggle movies. "Ah no never. In fact I've got no idea where I'm going, I hope you can manage to take the reigns from here? By the way, do you know how to get back?" He pulled her chain again, picking up a rock Drew rolled it over in the hand that wasn't holding his wand up in the air.
He watched Bella as she walked off, probably a little too much. What, he was a guy. Swinging is wand around he pointed it at a small boulder and levitated it for a few moments before putting it down and lighting his wand once more. It wasn't a good idea to stay in the dark for too long, even with the moon above you. The heavy brush of the trees covered most of it out. After walking around in circles for awhile, Drew didn't see Isabella anymore, she must have found the horse....ok, unicorn.
Several minutes past by and he looked around curiously, she wasn't anywhere in site. She got herself lost, didn't she. At least Drew hoped that was what it was. He had enough confidence in the forest to go wandering around the trail, but not off of it. The Forbidden Forest was still Forbidden for a reason. Drew bit the inside of his cheek and stepped off the trail, walking a few feet to the left. He left the peculiar looking stone a several feet away from the path as a marking point, then set off to find where Isabella had gotten herself lost at. Girls.
And they said guys didn't have any sense of direction. Something howled in the distance and he wasn't quite as comfortable now that he was walking on his own path. Pushing low branches of trees back he looked around. "Bella" Nothing. Drew kept walking, starting to make a turn in his direction so as not to get too far. "Hey Huffie, where are you Puffie?"

OOC: Thank you! There was a lot to put in there! Heh. ;D
Bella was beginning to feel her senses coming back to her. Crap, oh my God! I’m going to die! I’m going to die! Another howl sounded off in the distance, but to her greatest fear, it sounded closer now. Oh my God!!! Her fear was rising so fast, the fright finally getting to her.
She tried to remind herself to breathe, but other then her wand light there was nothing. She was it. She had lost what was her only comfort in this entire forest and now that she had sufficiently managed to get herself lost, Bella could only think of the worst possible scenarios. She tried to keep herself from at least repeating ‘I’m going to die’ but it didn’t help much.
Bella had almost given up hope when up ahead she could see the faintest light between the thick trees. She preyed it was wand light, because if it wasn’t, her feet had just carried her straight into who knew what.
“Bella?” Her eyes widened and such an overwhelming relief gripped her it was almost unbearable. “Hey Huffie, where are you Puffie?” Bella couldn’t even bring herself to be annoyed by the names. Before she even remembered ever thinking about doing so, she managed to run the last length (without tripping, thank God) between them and wrapped Drew in the biggest hug she could ever recall giving anyone. Oh my God, thank goodness, oh my God… She tried breathing evenly but about the time she was able to manage that, she realized just what she had done. Her eyes widened.
Bella had been careful not to let Drew know she liked him just a little bit more then she let on, but her fears seemed to have pulled that cover way. Whoopsie…

Really, she'd lost herself good this time. He had a feeling he was doing the exact same thing as he moved farther away from the somewhat of a trail they used to walk on. Oh well, he'd have to find himself eventually. If not, it was a pretty cool way to go out. Who needed to graduate when they didn't even know what they were going to do with it. He heard a sound crackling through the trees and Drew stopped walking, holding perfectly still.
The sound continued and he heard the footsteps, they were approaching faster now, at a run actually. Drew put his wand light out and held it ready for another spell. Whatever it was it was coming closer, and he was at the ready. Holding the wand out at arms length he turned to a portion of trees from the direction the noise was coming from. Not having light was a very big disadvantage but what could you do when you only had one wand.
Suddenly the guy was nearly pumelled by another hufflepuff, That being Isabella of course. He let out a "Umph" As he lit his wand again, Bella's arms wrapping around him. After the inital shock he smirked, moving his arms around to hug her in return. So maybe, he'd just let her get herself lost again later. The greeting was definitely worth the waiting. He held her that way as long as he could without making it feel too awkward and then looked up into her face. "You alright?" The faintest glimmer of a smile threatening to break the surface of his face. "Lassie finally came home?" He couldn't help it, no really.

She tried to breath, tried to focus. But all she could seem to think about was that he’d hugged her back. Get yourself together you stupid girl, Bella thought with a smile. When she had finally gained the courage to look up, he was already speaking. Bella couldn’t help but smile gratefully, not even caring that in her fear he still managed to tease her.
Her voice seemed breathless: “I’m fine now. That was so worth it, but then it left, and I was all alone. I couldn’t believe I’d managed to walk that far away. Okay, well, I mean, I can, I’ve never been out here. And I don’t believe you never have, just for the record. Trying to scare me. Did you hear that howl? I think I was on the verge of tears I was so scared. But I’m fine now, I’m okay. Fine. Really.” Her eyes were wide with her new sense of adventure. And then it dawned on her just how much she’d managed to ramble on to him.
Her cheeks immediately blushed and for a moment, she cursed his lit wand and hers. It would be better if he couldn’t see her rosy cheeks. But Bella was in no way ready to get as far as a few feet away from Drew now, after that whole episode. She refused to get lost again. “Weren’t you the least bit scared?” she asked in a defeated tone. He always covered up his real emotions with jokes, sometimes it was hard to tell what was really going through that mind of his.

Drew tried to follow the mess of words that came out next. What? Oh well, it's best not to try and follow a girls rambling. He did however make out a few things. She'd been really scared, and she found the Unicorn. Beyond that, he had no idea. Drew shook his head, letting most of what she said just fly over it. "Alright Miss. Chatterbox, you're ok now."
"I heard it, don't worry. It's not the full moon so.....ok I've got no idea what it was but it wasn't a werewolf." Bella put out not only her wand but his as well and he glanced down at it. "Are we...supposed to find our way back in the dark?" He asked. Drew had said lumos but nothing had happened, she'd put some sort of a hex. He smirked but you couldn't see any facial expressions when there wasn't any light. "Hmm...maybe a little. About this much" He held up his fingers and left the smallest gap you could ever see inbetween them. Of course she couldn't see anything at all.
"Can you turn the lights back on now, oh giver of light?" He taunted, though it was in a friendly banter. He started to take a few steps backwards and then turned around to face the direction he had came from. Right now Drew couldn't see anything, what with the cloud that was blocking the moon and the trees it was pitch black. Heh. He liked how she came and hugged him. Maybe he'd lose her again.

“Oh, I’m so sorry!” Bella gasped when he realized what he was talking about. She’d become so wrapped in thoughts that she hadn’t even realized what she’d done. She’d been so good about keeping her powers under control it surprised her at the slip of them. It had gotten her in trouble as a child and having it happened now was odd.
Her blush growing due to her silent hex, she almost didn’t want to take it off. But feeling her need for light greater then her need to keep Drew from seeing her face won over. She quickly re-lit her wand and counter-cursed her previous hex off Drew’s; the light grew around them.
Now able to clearly make out Drew – and Drew make out her blush (regrettably so) – Bella shifted a few steps to ensure Drew was a mere few inches away from her. “Don’t you dare get any further away then that,” she said in what she hoped was a firm voice, as opposed to pitiful. She motioned to the little gap between them. “I’m prepared to use force if I have to,” she added with a smile. Then, more seriously, “Do you have any idea what it is?” Bella’s mind seemed to be blank. She’d read so many books on the Forest, it was annoying not to be able to remember anything now. But between her butterflies and nerves, her mind was appearing empty.

"That's alright, I'll let it go this time" He struck a serious face and continued to walk due to the new found light he had once more. Everything looked the same, but suddenly Drew found a particular tree that he recognised. It was twisted and knotted, almost as though it were sick, which made it stick up from the rest. He kept going that way, having a feeling that sooner or later their little path would become visible again.
Catching her face, it looked redder than a tomato. He held in anything that he might have said, saying nothing instead he pretended not to notice. Drew didn't know what she was blushing about, if it was because of the hex or something else. Either way it made him smile. He slowed down when she demanded the conditions, looking back at Bella as she caught up. He looked at the small space they had inbetween one another, it wasn't really enough for anything but a small dog to fit through.
"Do you want to hold my hand?" The taunting continued, once Drew started he couldn't turn it off, it was an illness really. He had almost no control over what he said sometimes. Still, his face kind of said he wanted her to. "There's a lot of creatures in the forest that howl besides just werewolves. Most, of them are harmless. Or, close to it." There was the occasional fatal mistake but.......there were also in centaurs in the forest, and as long as you didn't disturb the peace there was no problem.
