Hi, I'm considering joining as Lucius Malfoy. The canon list says that I need to contact an admin before applying as him... Is there another way that I'm supposed to do so?
Anyway, I'm not quite sure yet about joining, so I'm just wondering if anyone could tell me what existing plot lines Lucius would be involved with, and maybe some brief info on the characters he would probably interact with a lot.

First and foremost, thank you for following that request. ^^
We have asked that anyone wishing to play him speak to us beforehand because there are certain terms that come along with RPing him. You must agree to them, otherwise you will not be allowed to take him on as a character.
You see, Lucius Malfoy is/was played by ISS’ member Madie. She has been absent due to a busy life and we, myself and Alva, have decided to place him back up for grabs because he is such a key canon role. If you would like to play him, you must be within the understanding that should Madie return she has full rights to take him back as a character. I understand that isn’t the most appealing deal out there, but it’s what we as staffers and a site have concluded would be best. For more information about this, you can view this announcement and look at ISS’ staff description.
If you are still willing to play him and agree to these prerequisites, then we’d be more then happy to welcome you into our site family with the first character of Malfoy.

Hey! I'm glad you decided to give this a shot. To apply for Lucius you just have to join and post an application with the right form on the right board and wait for one of us to sort it out (:

Oh, what am I supposed to use as my username? Because there's already an existing Lucius Malfoy account, right?

Because luciusmalfoy is taken, I’d suggest lucius or malfoy. Keep things simple.
