Here is the complete list of accepted Quidditch Team applications. To store each one in the application thread would simply cause too much clutter. However, people spent time on them, so I'm storing/displaying them here instead. Feel free to browse. To apply to join your house team, click here. To see the previous year's teams, click here. GRACIE MARLOW [ Fourth | 14 ] Playing Seeker on a Nimbus 1700.
I am helpful b e c a u s e . . .
- Tiny and Light
- Energetic
- Attentive
- Determined
- Competitive
I am on the team b e c a u s e . . . Gracie has loved playing Quidditch ever since she was a small child. Even though she loves girly things, her brothers were always having them play a game with them- and she was always the seeker because of her tiny frame. Gracie is also very competitive and stubborn and will do anything- anything to ensure that her team wins.
KIERAN SULLIVAN [ Seventh | 17 ] Playing (First) Chaser on a Nimbus 1500.
I am helpful b e c a u s e . . .- Fast
- Agile
- Quick reflexes
- Determined
- Competitive
- Team player

The first time Kieran had mounted a broomstick, it had felt as natural to him as breathing. Even though he was a muggleborn and the concept of flying around on a stick made of wood should have been a completely foreign concept to him, he'd taken to it like a duck to water. He didn't think he would ever love an activity as much as he loved flying, until he was introduced to the fantastic game that is Quidditch. He took to that pretty easily, too, playing with his friends and then, eventually, joining the team when he had proved himself to be good enough. After his injury, Kieran had been devastated - he couldn't believe that he wasn't allowed to play Quidditch anymore. However, since then he had healed and, because it was his last year, he was determined to get as much out of it as possible, and that included playing alongside his teammates and bringing Gryffindor to yet another win of the Quidditch cup one last time before he graduates.
CLEMENTINE KNIGHT [ Sixth | 16 ] Playing (Second) Chaser on a Moontrimmer.
I am helpful b e c a u s e . . .- Competitive
- Strong upper body
- Excellent flying skills
- Great aim
- Team player
- Loves the game
I am on the team b e c a u s e . . .
Clementine has lived in Montrose, Scotland all of her life - aka, the home of the Montrose Magpies. Her father owns a sports bar, just across the street from their apartment, and when she was little she spent a great deal of time there during the day, "helping" her father (but mostly getting in to trouble), and talked with a variety of witches and wizards about the sport, sometimes even Quidditch players themselves. Her parents bought her her first broom when she was just still a very little girl, and she's been flying ever since. Of course when she got to Hogwarts she knew she wanted to try her hand at Quidditch. It had been hard to practice growing up since she didn't have any siblings, but she and Roxy loved throwing small Quaffles back and forth to each other even at a young age, if that counts. She's known she wanted to be a chaser since she first fell in love with the sport. Being a steady flyer with accuracy and speed, she was placed on the team and she loves every aspect of it.

*IAN FLEMING [ Sixth | 16 ] Playing (Alternate) Chaser on a Silver Arrow.
I am helpful b e c a u s e . . .- physically fit
- strong
- good reflexes
- good coordination
- good aim
- focused
- determined
- attentive
- observant
- thinks fast
- listens well
- stays calm under pressure
- healthy sense of competition
- team player
I am on the team b e c a u s e . . .
To be honest, Ian is not obsessed with Quidditch. However, he does like it, much as he enjoys playing Muggle team sports. He likes working with other people toward a common goal, especially for the purpose of having fun. When the Gryffindor House team needs an extra player, he’s willing to lend himself to the competition. Ian might not be the most talented flyer out there, but he’s competent enough to play the game more than adequately. His skills are perhaps best suited for Chaser, his favored position. He’s a good sport, and he’ll definitely work hard to be a useful member of the team. Note: Other students who want official spots on the team can have priority over Ian. He will only be included in Quidditch games if we don’t have the full complement of players.
Milie Gunabie [ Fourth | 14 ] Playing Keeper on a Silver Comet.
I am helpful b e c a u s e . . .- Athletic yet light-weighted
- Which means she can move very very fast
- Is in love with Quidditch
- Long arms
- Quick reflexes
- Unafraid to take risks
- Lively
- Determined
I am on the team b e c a u s e . . .
When a young Milena Gunabie attached herself to her Grandfather’s old quaffle, he just knew she’d be a Quidditch player. How could she not be when she talked about it constantly and had people throw the quaffle at her just to see if she could catch it? That’s the sign of a Keeper, ladies and gents, and that is the position Milie indeed holds dearest to her heart. So, when Quidditch tryouts were held, you bet she was prepared to save every one of those shots. She had prepared for this (ran a mile a day for two weeks before tryouts, and the habit had in fact stuck), was born for this. She worked hard and she was talented – and when passion coincides with talent- well, it can be a powerful thing to have on your side. She may be little, but dammit she was fast, and with the speed she flies at and her quick reflexes, there is no way she’ll let the quaffle soar through her hoops, even if she has to dive for it (no, she’s not afraid to try). It’s her passion, and (like a quaffle) there was no way she was going to let the Gryffindor Keeper position slip through her fingers.
MAYLENE BELL [ Seventh | 17 ] Playing Beater on a Nimbus 1700. And guess what? I’m captain, too.
I am helpful b e c a u s e . . .-
- Doesn’t argue
- Plays by the rules
- Team Player
- Fit
- Loves playing
- Strong
- Quick reflexes
- Daring
- Doesn’t care about getting dirty or hurt
- Never cheats
I am on the team b e c a u s e . . .
Being born into a Muggle family, May only heard about Quidditch when Lucy Murphy introduced the sport to her once they were at Hogwarts. And instantly, she loved it. She’d always been a fan of running around and playing sports and feeling that rush of adrenaline, and Quidditch provided all of that, plus a thrilling sense of adventure and of being high above the ground. It was the sport she was born to play, in her opinion. She started practicing in Flying Lessons, and she wasn’t, at first, very good, per say. She still couldn’t quite manage to control the broom where she wanted it, and it was weird, not that she didn’t like it, but weird being ...well, flying. But she practiced and practiced, over the summer at friends’ houses and then back at school, until she got really great at it, and decided to try out for the position of Beater. May loves to play, and she’s the most honest person ever, so she would never cheat, and since she’s always active, her body is fit and strong, and has a good aim with the bat. Also, May is not the kind of girl to freak out about getting mud in her clothes, or breaking an arm by a missed bludger, so that helps as well. She’s daring and isn’t afraid to take a risk, and she works well with her team. And when she’s teaming up with the other beater, one of her best friends, they’re unbeatable.
JULIEN CROSS [ Year | 6th] Playing Beater on a Nimbus 1500.
I am helpful b e c a u s e . . .- Strong
- Assertive
- Quick reflexes
- Good aim
- Determined
- Fearless
I am on the team b e c a u s e . . .
Julien was born and bred to be a beater. He has a stocky, muscular build that gives him a powerful hit. Even though he is muggle born and has only been playing quidditch for five years, his father has been teaching him how to play baseball since he could walk. Julien's got a wicked swing and hand-eye coordination because of it. He's fearless when it comes to playing so he'll take more chances than your average player, even if that means more injuries for him. He tends to be a bit showy, but he is determined and fiercely protects his chasers at all costs. Julien may get into trouble every now and then for being too... "enthusiastic", but each and every game or practice he gives 110% and has blown out his shoulder three times before due too swinging his club too hard. Julien also brings a good dose of team spirit and takes the initiative to get the rest of his team a before a match.

ANANDANI AEKNOV [ 7th | 18 ] Playing Seeker on a Nimbus 1300.
I am helpful b e c a u s e . . .- light
- speedy
- good eye
- concentrated
- good flyer
- hard worker
- reliable
I am on the team b e c a u s e . . . reasons
When Ana came to Hogwarts she had no idea flying broomsticks were even real. Of course she'd heard about witches flying on brooms in her old story books, but she never thought any of that could possibly be real! Taking flying lessons in her first year was pretty much the coolest thing she'd ever done, and she asked for a broomstick that year when Christmas rolled around. Unfortunately, she didn't get it; her parents weren't entirely sure how the heck to go about buying a broomstick in the first place. But two years later, she got it. She didn't really practice with it much at first since it was still snowy, but by the time spring rolled around, she was outside every day, learning how to maneuver and dodge things and dive. It just came to her so naturally, she thought maybe she could try her hand at Quidditch. She wasn't so great with chasing or beating, not really keeping either... but seeking was something she found her niche in. Having a small frame, she's light and fast on her broom compared to the bulkier (and therefore slower) players; she can easily fly her way between a mass of bludgers and quaffles. She made it on the team this year and has absolutely loved every minute of it, and her competitive streak definitely benefits her determination to find the golden snitch.
PIPPIN LEBEAU [ Sixth | 17 ] Playing (First) Chaser on a Nimbus 1500. And guess what? I'm captain, too.
I am helpful b e c a u s e . . .- agile
- speedy
- team player
- doesn't complain
- will play in any conditions
- loves the sport
- competitive
- physical
I am on the team b e c a u s e . . .
When it comes to commitment, Pippin really isn't your go-to girl. She loses focus on things far too easily and quickly. But for some reason, Quidditch is different. Maybe it's the danger, maybe it's the fact that it's a real sport. Maybe it's because when she's doing her job on that team, she feels like she has a purpose. She doesn't have to focus on a million things at once: all she has to do is get the Quaffle to pass through the opposition's hoops in whatever way possible. Quidditch Through the Ages is possibly the only nonfiction book she's read through multiple times for fun, and she practically has it memorised by now. She's a strong enough flyer with a good grip, so it's tough to knock her off her broom. Pippin can also be a bit rough toward opposing players, and isn't afraid to knock them around in order to get her way. Quidditch is one of the few things that actually holds Pippin's attention, and she'll do anything to stay on the team and play her hardest and kick some ass.
After Andromeda stepped down, Pippin wholeheartedly volunteered to be the captain. She doesn't care that it comes with extra responsibilities, like organising practices and picking new players. In fact, she looks forward to that. Pippin wants to do something important in the Ministry someday, something that requires leadership, and she thinks being Quidditch captain is great practice. Not to mention, she isn't afraid to push her teammates, rain or shine, to play at their absolute best. She's a competitor, this is a sport. Do or do not; there is no try, after all.

Quidditch and flying had quickly became one of Benjamin's favourite activities when he first came to learn about magic and the sport. He'd often play with Rose's cousins when they went over, and he'd always entertained thoughts of being on the team, but the fact was he'd never thought he'd be good enough. The position he'd always wanted to play was Beater, and he didn't think he'd built up enough muscle when there was an open spot in Fifth year. Plus, he'd been more focused on his studies then, seeing as it was his OWL year and he figured he shouldn't have something like Quidditch practice distract him; everyone knows that, after your NEWTs, OWLs were the most important exams you'll ever take. And so he practiced during his free time and bided his time. When the try outs in his sixth year came around, he decided that he had enough perseverence, and was strong enough to be an excellent beater for the team. He's swift and agile, and has managed to hone his aim so that he can direct the ball exactly where he wants it to go. He's also aware of the importance of team work, and he's protective enough in general to keep the bludgers away from his other team members.

Gabriella has always, always, always loved Quidditch, and flying in general. But she's never felt like she was good enough to actually play the game. However, when the Seeker position opened up, she figured it wouldn't do any harm to try out. She'd always been pretty good at catching and had a pretty good hand-eye coordination (although hand-everything else was pretty bad) and she's watched enough games as a cheerleader to know the Hufflepuff's style. Plus, it'd be a good excuse to spend more time with her best friend, Gideon, and he's been helping her get ready, so she'd been well-prepared when try-outs came about; she'd known what to expect from Adam. The fact that she's so small means she's faster than most on the broom, and can dodge bludgers more easily. Although she would never exactly knock anyone off their broom, Gabby is definitely determined enough to do whatever it takes to get to the snitch first, short of harming the other person. She'd feel it's her responsibility to bring the team a win, so she'd do everything possible to help. And she just really really loves Quidditch. (pix)

CALIXTO BAILER [ sixth | 17 ] Playing Second Chaser on a Comet 120*.
I am helpful b e c a u s e . . .- Team player
- Moves effortlessly on a broom
- Lean
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Followed Quidditch since he was a child
- Good sportsmanship
- Reliant on instinct and reflexes (so he never over-thinks things)
- Dexterous in shooting with either arm
I am on the team b e c a u s e . . . What Calixto lacks in his studies he makes up for in hand-eye coordination and athleticism. His lean and in no way bulky form makes him good with a broom- really good (though he’s not completely aware of it himself). It’s been a big help though that even when Calixto was young his father bought him a toy broom that hovered a few feet above the ground, therefore making his first real experience on a broom a good one. Actually, much of Calixto’s Quidditch knowledge can be humbly attributed to his father, who in working for the Ministry’s Magical Game department was able to take him to roughly eighty-percent of every season’s matches. Thus, Calixto has gained a deep-seeded, loving bond with the magical sport, making it his favorite thing to do and watch. Practicing the game throughout the years, he has learned he can shoot almost as well with his left hand than with his right hand. There is a theory that because Calixto does not think about his left arm being secondary to his right (he is technically right-handed) that it enables him to use it without difficulty, contrary to most other people. Or, it could be that he just exercises both arms a near-equal amount. His absence of consciously thinking during the game is definitely helpful though – Calixto is a do-er, not a thinker- he never over-analyzes anything and so rarely ever does he get “psyched out” by opponents. And then there is the most evident quality of all: Calixto is a one-hundred percent team player. He is anything but a ball-hog; he’ll gladly pass to his fellow teammates when an opposing chaser is giving him trouble. It’s all for the good of the team. That’s how you win the game, after all, isn’t it? Calixto firmly trusts that if the team cannot work together toward the simple goal of winning and playing a good game, then how can they expect to win together?

Gideon has grown up playing Quidditch. Ever since he was a kid and could fly a toy broom in the backyard with his brother, he's known exactly what happens in a game. Fabian taught him everything, from the rules of the game down to the best teams to follow. Gideon's always loved the sport, but he could never really afford a good broom - or even a half-decent one, really. And he grew so big and so fast that he often tended to weigh down what brooms he did ride, especially since they were never the best quality. But when he heard there were Keeper tryouts and he remembered that Fabian had a good broom, he decided that it was worth a shot. So, he tried out in secret, and quit cheerleading, and now is a proud member of the Hufflepuff Quidditch team. For months, he was using Fabian's broom; on his sixteenth birthday, though, Gabby and Emme got him his own Nimbus, which he secretly calls "Gem" (after Gabby and Emme). He's actually doing rather well - and he definitely feels a lot more secure in the air than on the ground trying to dance. He's a big guy, so he's able to stretch pretty damn far to block the hoops, and he's strong enough to be able to hang onto his broom to do the more complicated saves. Gideon doesn't let anyone rough him up, and he's a bulky enough opponent that it's often not even attempted. His skills could be improved, but he tries his hardest and has fun. In the end, isn't that all that matters?
ADAM QUINN [ Sixth | 16 ] Playing (First) Beater on a Nimbus 1800. And guess what? I'm captain, too.
I am helpful b e c a u s e . . .- Competitive.
- Ruthless.
- Violent.
- Strong.
- Loves the sport.
- Good flyer.
- Gives 100%.
- Great aim.
I am on the team b e c a u s e . . .
Quidditch was sort of a no-brainer for Adam. He's been pretty enthusiastic about any and all sports ever since he was young, so coming into the wizarding world and finding out about this new sport you play on brooms was basically the coolest thing in the world to him. He has a pretty successful first year in flying lessons, and he'd been enamored with the idea of making the team since then - and eventually he did, playing beater. The position suits him well, and he's damn good at it, thank you very much. He is, undeniably, very strong, particularly in his arms, and he's perfected his skill so he knows just about where to hit the balls, depending on his opponent's speed and direction. You can't say this about a lot of things, with Adam, but with Quidditch, it definitely rings true: he's dedicated and passionate. He may be irresponsible with other aspects of his life but he'd never miss a practice unless he had a damn good reason. Finally, Adam is competitive, and proud, and if you piss him off during a game of Quidditch, he will be out to hurt you - which is perfect, because isn't that his job?

REGULUS BLACK [ Seventh | 17 ] Playing Seeker on a Thunderstick. And guess what? I’m captain, too.
I am helpful b e c a u s e . . .- Athletic build.
- Tactful.
- Charismatic.
- Driven.
- Strong.
- Excellent vision.
- Leader.
- Resourceful.
- Confident.
- Competitive.
- Speedy.
I am on the team b e c a u s e . . .
Ever since he was a child, Regulus has been competitive and athletic. He doesn’t back down from a challenge, nor does he shrink from a threat. He is violently ambitious for all the wrong reasons, and yet, that is precisely what makes him a valuable player. Instead of whining about practice, Regulus lives for practice, so he can do what he’s best at. He longs for the end of the day, just so he can whip off his shirt and take off into the air after doing a few crunches. He loves the rush of adrenaline, loves the attention it brings him, loves the feeling of being healthy and fit and – let’s face it – ripped. He loves the social standing it gives him, and, most of all, he loves being captain. It makes him feel even more important and big-headed than he already feels, and he loves it. Regulus is and always has been a gloater, and being captain and seeker surely gives him all the more reason to be. Besides, he’s always been the fastest, always been the most dexterous, always been the highest flyer on his team (at least, in his humble opinion) and so it makes perfect sense for him to move from chaser to seeker.
BETH PREWETT [ Fourth | 15 ] Playing (First) Chaser on a Nimbus 1800 .
I am helpful b e c a u s e . . .- I can handle a broomstick excellently
- I have good aim
- I’m determined
- I’m dedicated
- I put all of myself into things I like
- I’m fast
- I have quick reflexes
- I’m competitive
I am on the team b e c a u s e . . .
Ever since I discovered flying broomsticks, and how to maneuver them, I’ve felt at home in the air. Quidditch is something that’s fun, that’s rough and competitive and just the perfect amount of energy draining without being tiresome. I’ve learned, mostly at the hands of Aiden, how to toss the Quaffle properly, how to fly single-handed, how to swerve, and I’m ready to put it to good use, being good at it for something. It’s not something my parents particularly approved of, which just makes it a hundred times better, doesn’t it? It doesn’t matter that they failed me and my sister; I’m still a fantastic player and I do well for myself. I’m on the team because I can take directions when it’s for a good purpose, I’m not afraid to take a few hits, and I’m ready to win the house cup. I’m determined, I’m ambitious, and I want to win. If that’s not a good reason enough to be a part of the team, then I honestly don’t know what is, and you’re missing out on a great tool.
SERENA LOVELACE [ Fourth | 14 ] Playing (Second) Chaser on a Moontrimmer.
I am helpful b e c a u s e . . .-
is rich enough to afford all the best equipment
- quite small
- weighs very little
- well proportioned
- excellent ladylike balance
- determination and focus
- extremely competitive (to a fault)
- skilled at dodging
-
because Caoimhe and Tori do it
- very good at taking direction
from purebloods
- the uniforms flatter her quite well
- graceful and, well, rather serene
- extreme pride in her House
I am on the team b e c a u s e . . .
When Serena discovered that cheerleading was invented by Muggles and was a thoroughly Muggle practice, she was utterly horrified and understandably had to leave the team. She doesn't understand how Rita and Daciana and the others are able to do it, she really doesn't. They're so brave, aren't they, trying to improve upon what Muggles invented? Oh, erm, anyway, Serena couldn't quite tolerate it and while maybe Daciana's and Rita's parents approved of it, Serena's mother was positively horrified when she received an owl from her daughter exclaiming she had made it to the cheerleading team. She immediately wrote back, sent her daughter the finest broom and finest equipment money could buy, and insisted she join the Quidditch team instead. Well, Serena has never been one to turn down an order from her mother, and even though she wasn't that thrilled about trying out for the team at first, she remembered that Caoimhe Moran and Victoria MacMillan do it as well, and therefore if she made it on the team she would be able to work alongside them! And so she couldn't resist. Truthfully, Serena didn't know why she hadn't tried to get on the team before. Her body was practically made for the sport. She's little and weighs next to nothing and always did exceptionally well with Madam Hooch's flying classes, not to mention having cat-like reflexes and excellent reaction time, so of course she would make a wonderful addition to the team. She's spirited too, of course, filled to the brim with Slytherin pride, and if that wasn't enough, she's about the sorest loser on the planet and will thus do everything in her power to prevent it––at least, from her end (unfortunately there aren't any Mudbloods on the team for her to blame her failures on). At any rate, she takes direction very well, seeing as she wants to become the best of all possible ladies, and as long as it's a pureblood giving her advice she'll do whatever it takes to impress them. She's dedicated, and a hardworker, and her mum says she needs to get involved in more extracurriculars and she always does what her mum says so she's simply got to make her proud. She will do absolutely anything to make her mum proud. So would it be any surprise to say that Serena is going to put her heart and soul into playing Quidditch? It shouldn't be. And besides, it's the most revered and respected of all the wizarding sports in the history of ever, and to be chosen to play for her school team would be the biggest honor Serena could even think of, to date, and she will do her best to deserve it.

I am helpful b e c a u s e . . .
- Athletic
- Confident
- Team Player
- Observant
- Good Looking (this will throw the other players off guard)
I am on the team b e c a u s e . . . Isaac loves anything and everything that will keep him in tip-top shape muscle-wise. He loves being able to play keep away with the other teams at the goal posts and wants to help his team win in any way possible. Also, he likes to win. By any means necessary.
AIDEN NEESON [ 7th | 17 ] Playing (First) Beater on a Nimbus 1800.
I am helpful b e c a u s e . . .- I'm determined (or stubborn) as fuck.
- I'm willing to risk personal injury to protect my chasers and send a good bludger hit to someone's face.
- I'm impulsive and that actually comes in handy for a beater.
- I will run myself ragged until I'm the best.
- I enjoy the limelight so much that I am willing to do pretty much anything to bask in it.
I am on the team b e c a u s e . . .
Aiden's brutal determination makes him excel at anything he puts his mind to. Unfortunately for his parents, it's not his studies but dominating in quidditch. Aiden has been playing quidditch since he was a kid and only got into it because his father thought it was a waste of time, so, by default, it obviously needed to become his career in life. And that's just what Aiden is working towards. He has no patience or interest in a "practical" job for a wizard and is, instead, determined to play beater professionally for the Quiberon Quafflepunchers. And why be a beater, you ask? Because there is no other position more appealing to his personality. He gets to bitch up people's faces and protect his friends. And you get some badass arms muscles. Enough said. Aiden has quick reflexes which comes in handy for diving towards bludgers and deciding the best person to send them careening towards. Aiden might pretend that losing a match doesn't matter to him, but he is very hard on himself after a loss and is willing to do anything (be it legal or not) to win.
