Full Name: Benjamin Edward Burke House: Ravenclaw Year: Sixth Age: 17 Why you make a great Prefect: If you asked Benjamin if he would make a good prefect, he would have probably told you flat-out "no", especially considering the way he was in his early days. Now that he's older and wiser (no stereotype intended), he's not much of a trouble maker at all, but he still would have never thought himself as Prefect material. Still, whether he believes it or not, he sorta is. He's respectful of professors and knows his place; he's usually one of the top in most of his classes; he's responsible and doesn't exactly go out of his way to break rules, so he's sure to enforce them and he's stubborn as hell so he'll make sure that students abide by them; he enjoys helping people out, and he's stopped enough bullies that it might as well be his job. Although he's not very open, Benjamin is friendly enough with strangers, so there's no chance of him scaring off first years who're lost on their way to their common room. Fact of the matter is, he'll probably forever doubt Dumbledore's decision to make him a prefect, but he'll still do his best to be a good one, because that's what Benjamin does. He tries to excel at everything, especially when it's expected of him.

Full Name: Anandani Aeknov House: Ravenclaw Year: 7th Age: 18 Why you make a great Prefect: Ana has proven her dedication through her studies, churning out flawless grades every year since her education began at Hogwarts. When Quidditch was added to the mix, her grades didn't falter a tad. She is exceptionally good at balancing work and play, she's responsible, and most importantly, she's reasonable. It's not normal for her to blow a gasket, and while sometimes she can be a bit patient and even too soft, she knows when she needs to crack down on someone. She's not too strict about it, nor is she too weak; basically, she just wants people to be responsible and not complete and utter douchebags. And if they are being douchebags, she will be sure to inform them of this and greatly advise they do not continue to be douchebags. And then she will give them a detention. Simple as that!

Full Name: Imogen Amy Sauvterre House: Ravenclaw Year: Fifth Age: Fifteen Why you make a great Prefect: Frankly put, Imogen is a logical choice for a Prefect. Her grades are consistently high, her attendance in each class is nearly flawless – yeah, she still wants to go when she’s sick – and she’s never, in her memory, had a late or unfinished assignment. Her responsibility is evident in her scores and school record. Imogen can be called a “goody-two-shoes” by some, seeing that she’s never attended detention before. At most, she was scolded for passing notes during class. Her sense of responsibility, coupled with her maturity and do-not-discriminate attitude, make her a fine choice for a Prefect. She isn’t afraid to take points away from anyone. If a person is breaking the rules, they’re breaking the rules. This includes housemates, friends, and she’ll even take points from herself if she finds she’s doing something generally frowned upon. Imogen doesn’t shy away from her duties; if it’s her job, it’s her job, and she’ll do it right.

Full Name: Emmeline Vance House: Hufflepuff Year: Fifth Age: Fifteen Why you make a great Prefect:
Um, hello? I’m Emmeline Vance, remember? I only have like, the highest scores in my entire grade, and absolute perfect attendance, and I always follow school rules because they’re totally meant to be followed, and I really, really hate it when people have like, total disregard for them because it’s like, what, do you want a detention? And also, I can be super authoritative when I have to. Some people are sort of intimidated by me that way, I guess? Mostly the younger people, but still, when I’m not hanging out or anything, I’m strict with people, and yes, children are cute, but no first year is going to actually get his way around me. I’m not one to pass up wrongdoing, and I’ll definitely inform some sort of person if it goes on. I also suggest that prefects should be able to dock points. So anyway, I’m like, really good with my obligations, I get all my homework done days in advance, and I’m a pretty good team worker, a natural born leader, obviously, so whoever my partner is we’ll do great (as long as he listens to me) and I won’t be lazy about it and be punctual and really, really good. Also, I really want this. Like, it’d be a dream. come. true. I’m not going to lie, I think being a Prefect is the most amazing thing that can happen to somebody in Hogwarts, because it’s such an honour, you know? And I don’t know what happened to Clairy that she gave it up but whatever it was, it must have been horrible, but...I’m kind of thrilled I get to do it now, is that too wrong?
