Canons like Lily Evans are scary, because there are lot of expectations to live up to if you decide to pick one up. But Jooj has had Lily for years, and she's completely mastered her. She's a perfect combination of the nice girl we've been told about in the books, plus some added spunk to add an edge to her personality. One of my favourite threads was an old AU thread with Sirius in which they snogged, because that was so much fun to read and definitely a different side to Lily. Plus, you gotta commend Jooj for having this major character for so long, even though we've had an absence of James for a while, because she knows this character inside and out. And she's so Lily; she's Joojie's Lily, but she's also canon Lily, and I think that's more impressive than anything. So congrats Joojie, you definitely deserve this award!

Everyone knows that Lily Evans is an integral part of any Marauders Era RP. For me, the caliber of the Lily on whatever site/rp/etc was a deciding factor in whether or not I joined. So when it came to browsing ISS for the first time as a little newbie, I looked over Jooj's Lily and her current plots, her writings, her photos, her diary... and I was blown away. At that time in my life, I had just finished the series (because I read it late) and was desperately in need for writing release. So I was searching through dozens of RPs, trying to find the right one. I'd seen at least as many Lilys throughout the whole time. And honestly, none of them even came close to touching Jooj's. I was so impressed and so in love with Jooj's Lily that I knew I had to join. I had to be in the same RP as someone that talented. And I haven't regretted that decision ever since. Jooj continually justifies that decision. Lily's winning the award for favorite grad because she not only exemplified Gryffindor in previous awards, but she also is the best female grad on this RP. For a while she was the only one, but that hardly changes anything. Lily's just... a phenomenal character with so much life, and Jooj delivers – really delivers – with everything she does for her. This is a special character played by a special girl and you don't get to witness that kind of talent and passion everyday. Jooj and her Lily are gems and they both deserve this award so, so much.
