UGH AIDEN NEESON. And I mean that in the best way. Ry's played this character for ages and it shows, because he's so rounded, so well-developed, and he's got so, so many levels. Not to mention, he's incredibly dynamic: we've seen his feisty passionate side, his potentially-romantic side, his mean streak, his ambition... We've seen so much and I know there's still more to his character. And he interacts with people you don't always expect - I mean, I know I certainly wouldn't have thought he'd be in a thread with Bridget, but that was definitely a pleasant surprise! Same thing with his interactions with Lucy. And I know Ari hasn't been around for ages, but his old threads with Caoimhe were to die for. Ry has built an amazing character, who definitely deserves this award, and I can't wait to see what else he can do with him.

Alxdfnghkngdhlndhlkndhlknhlfnlfd Aiden. I'm sorry, I'm such a fangirl of his. But come on, he's one of the most intricate and fascinating characters on the site! Ry has played Aiden in various mediums for years now and it really shows, because there's so much incredible depth and matter to his character that it literally astounds me sometimes. And talk about a perfect Slytherin. He's ambitious to a fault, especially when it comes to Quidditch, and so, so driven. It's amazing to watch him develop. And can I just say- his relationship with Caoimhe, oh my God does that kill me. Because you see the potential there, you see that Aiden is capable of love and passion- but at the same time he's got these goals that weigh down on him and nothing, not even love, really, can get in the way of that. We see this in his thread, "across the universe," with Caoimhe, some years after his graduation. He's confident, even cocky maybe, and incredibly self-assured that he is going to make something of his life and he'll be damned if anyone stands in his way. That's why he's the Favorite Slytherin Boy this year, and I have to say, no one deserves it more. <3
