→ Lilah Jackson !
Lilah is such a Hufflepuff. She's a hard worker, she's emotional, she's a loyal friend... She's the biggest sweetheart and totally adorable. But she's not all fluffy and cuddly, because she's got something unique that sets her apart: she can't feel pain. I love this touch to her, because it really makes her stand out and it adds an extra layer to Lilah. It makes her cautious and gives her a bit of a secret, but it doesn't stop her from being happy and a good friend. She's so sincere and sweet and Ellie writes her so adorably. I know Adam was technically Ellie's first Hufflepuff, but Lilah is a Hufflepuff through and through. I'm glad she got favourite Hufflepuff girl, because even though she's fairly new, she's got a lot of potential and Ellie's played her beautifully so far, and I can't wait to see what else she's got.

Lilah Jackson is probably the most unique paradox in the realm of characters on their houses. She's a Hufflepuff and exudes those typical traits -- she's nice, she's a goof, kind and emotional invested in friends and family. She has those damn feelings that Hufflepuffs seem to be so fond of in that seeing others suffer and being put through emotional pain generally hurts them and Lilah falls right along into this category. The difference, however, being that Lilah is literally incapable of having physical pain. This is a great dynamic and makes Lilah so exceedingly unique as a Hufflepuff. The fact that she can't feel physical pain seems to make her emotional feelings that much more invested. Lilah is a great and unique character, a perfect Hufflepuff, and worth having at least one of your characters get to know if you haven't already.
