Gideonnnnnnnn! Yet another favourite of mine. Gideon is like the epitome of Hufflepuff without being overly bubbly/nice/happy. I mean, yeah, he's a nice guy - he's a really nice guy - but he's not someone that you can step all over. (in fact, he's more likely to (accidentally) step on you, lbr, he's like what 6'3 and counting?). He's incredibly protective of his friends and family, which I think is very, very sweet, he's extremely loyal and wouldn't hurt anyone on purpose if he could help it. He's an amazing friend, and an amazing person. He's also hilarious, even when he doesn't mean to be half the time. He constantly makes me laugh, and when he's not making me laugh he's making me go "aww" and wishing that my future husband will be at least something like him. But he's not perfect, either. Didi never makes perfect characters tbh and I love that. But anyhoo - Gideon isn't violent, but he can be aggressive when he thinks his friends are being threatened. He's not very book-smart, and he has his "errrrrr what" moments, but I love him even more for that. I just...ugh. He's such a guy, but he's also a really sweet guy and he's just one of my fave's of Didi's tbh but I could be biased lolol. Didi plays him beautifully and yes he's just perf <3

Gideon is like… I don’t even know. I remember one of the first things that stood out to me when I read his app was how almost… unsure he seemed to be of saying stuff about himself. But then the one thing that really stuck out was how he was a dedicated friend. And he knows it. And then the one right after that was basically about his optimism, how he knows it’s best to look on the bright side of things. All of the others start with “uh” or “I guess”, but those two are just like blammo. It screams Hufflepuff, and I’d say he’s a Puffer through and through. He’s so protective of the people he loves, he’s laid back, he doesn’t get the greatest grades but he’s not as dumb as a rock, either. Didi portays him wonderfully, she’s active with him, and she’s thought up plenty of interesting plots with him and plenty of other characters on the site. She does a perfect job of writing out our bashful, loving, fiercely loyal and incredibly protective favorite Hufflepuff boy, Gideon Prewett. Congratulations darling!
