So, I've been thinking. I'd like to climb to the top of Mount Everest. I mean, I won't be the first person to get to the top, and I won't even be the first girl because a woman already made it like two years ago, but still. How brilliant would it be if I did? I bet you could see the whole world from there. What do you think, Deon? Think I could do it?

Well, I mean, it's harder than climbing trees because you get really, really high and it gets hard to breathe because of different air pressure or something. I don't know, I read it in a book. And yeah, it's huge! It's, like, the biggest out there! I think. That's what the book said, anyway, you can't really tell how big something is from pictures, you know?

Yeah, it is! Well, I mean, we might have to take lessons before it, or at least read a lot about rock climbing and practice. And um, no, it's north of India. Between Nepal and Tibet? It's not really close to the UK.

It's okay, I understand. You and Jezebel are so cute together! Things are going well, I hope? I've been thinking of properly introducing myself to her, but I don't want to do that if it'll be awkward for you, you know? I mean, you don't mind if your best friend checks up on your girlfriend, makes sure she's good enough for you and all, right? ;) And I have been practicing! Not the wrist-grabbing thing, though, but the Protego spell! I got some of my friends to throw things at me and I've been practicing with heavier and heavier stuff! Getting pretty good at it, too!
We're pretty great! He does sweet things all the time, even though he doesn't have to, so it's like we're really dating! Only, you know, we're not, haha.

Er, yeah, they're going... okay? I mean, they were going well, except I can't... like... kiss her. It's really weird and complicated and I dunno if I should say anything cos I don't wanna talk about her behind her back, but it's like... Well, the reason is just really weird and I dunno what to do about it. But other than that we're great!
I don't think she'd mind if you introduced yourself. You're my best friend and I don't think she's the jealous sort. Anyway, you might know her already. I think she's friends with Lyle.

What do you mean, you can't kiss her? Does she have a...mouth condition? Or is she...sick and doesn't want you to catch it? Or does she have a phobia? I know there are all kinds of weird phobias. Like, once I met someone who had a fear of shadows, like Peter Pan, only not really because I don't think Peter Pan was actually afraid of his shadow, he was just trying to catch him or something.
Hmm. Perhaps. I think we need to be officially introduced, though! I'll let you know how it goes.

No, she thinks... Okay, promise this stays a secret, all right? I don't want Jezebel to think I'm making fun of her. But she thinks that if you kiss, a stork will come by with a baby. I... I don't know what to tell her. I mean, I tried telling her the truth, but she wouldn't believe me. I guess she needs to hear it from her mum.
Great! But don't mention the stork thing though, unless she brings it up. Haha.
I think I can do this weekend! I'll have to check with Lyle that Quinn bloke to see when practice is starting up, though. I'll let you know.
