Yeah, she told me. That's rough, I almost can't believe it. They seemed happy enough together, but I guess they weren't. You're taking good care of her, aren't you? You know who you'll have to answer to if you aren't.
I'm all right, up and about now. They won't let me home yet, though.

Good. I mean, if you wanted to start going with her, I guess I’d be all right with it, but you’re not over Logan yet, are you? not interested in my cousin, are you?
It was… weird. But good weird, I think. We’re just friends now. I mean, that’s what we were before, but I think I’m actually okay with it now, you know? I dunno, things’ve felt different the past few days. Lizzy ran away from home on Christmas Eve, came to the house to see me. She was really upset about something, sort of like Alice with you, I guess. She spent the night, and er… We kissed, actually, the next morning. She told me she did love me after all, but we still couldn’t be together. Then she left for Suzie’s house, and I guess it was sort of a goodbye, you know? I mean, I still miss her, and I’d be with her if she said she wanted me back, but… I think we’re finished, for good. It was good to see her in hospital, though, as a friend.
