After getting up early one morning, Sirius quickly regrets being up and about at such an early hour when no one else is until he is greeted by Daphne and the two friends chatter and tease each other good naturedly, quickly making the morning a rather more positive one.

Alecto Carrow. Regular Thread. A small scrape in class gets Sirius sent to the Hospital Wing and though he doesn't mean to follow through he ends up there nonetheless and is startled to hear crying - even more so when he recognizes it to be Alecto. Not knowing why, he heads in to give a comforting word but the transformations and attractions that occur rapidly leave him quizzical and... with a girlfriend?

James Potter. Note Thread. What starts out as your average "what's new?" note quickly results as surprise and a fair bit of mockery when Sirius reveals to James that he is now dating Alecto Carrow - something his friend doesn't pretend to understand or agree with. The position is quickly reversed when a startled Sirius learns of James's new relationship with Marlene.

Anette Baker. Regular Thread. Sirius and Anette are assigned a detention together in the Forbidden Forest, something that neither one of them look forward to. But neither one of them could have anticipated the sparks that fly during their stint in the woods.

Marlene McKinnon. Note Thread. After hearing from James of Sirius's new relationship with a certain Alecto Carrow, Marlene "confronts" him through a note in class and essentially leaves him with a tough ultimatum: Alecto or her.

Marlene McKinnon. Regular Thread. Fuming over Marlene's behavior, Sirius remembers her own relationship with James and comes to the conclusion that his friend - or ex-friend? - is being a complete hypocrite. This drives him to storm out of class after her for a confrontation which doesn't go so well and leaves him feeling insanely guilty and angry at the same time.

Alecto Carrow. Note Thread. Everyone's found out about them now and so Sirius takes the chance to begin a note conversation with Alecto, talking to her for the first time since their meeting in the Hospital Wing. The two of them agree that it would be best to get away from everything for a bit and arrange a date to... Knockturn Alley?

Isabella Swan. Note Thread. Sirius receives a note from Bella during class asking if he's also mad at her about everything that happened between her and Remus but truthfully replies that he's not. And then decides that it might be a good time to bring up the fact that he's dating Alecto. Bella's surprised but, to Sirius's intense relief, doesn't complain, knowing herself what he's going through.

Bella Evangeline. Regular Thread. Heading down to the lake, Sirius runs into Bella E. and immediately feels guilty that he hasn't speant more time with his friend lately. So he talks to her for a bit but quickly comes to the conclusion that something big is wrong, especially if the spell he heard her screaming over the lake was what he thought it was. But the two chat it up and Sirius feels a bit relieved to be fulfilling his long overdue friend duties.

Alecto Carrow. Regular Thread. Time for the date. Sirius manages to make it to Knockturn Alley in one piece, winning the bet, and he and Alecto enjoy a pleasant day away from the rest of the school as they head to get ice cream - because he's such a genius when it comes to ideas. And the best part of the day? Being away from school, he can almost forget about Marls her. Well that and their impromptu ice cream.

James Potter & Remus Lupin. Regular Thread. Mr. Moony became a man last night. Say what? James forces Sirius out of the dorm and down for an early breakfast with no reason and Sirius grumbles his annoyance until Remus comes down to join them and James reveals the big fuss - Remus lost his virginity to Bella Swan the night before. As in, she was still in the dorm. Sirius is shocked into laughter at the news and he and James quickly descend upon poor Remus with their teasings.

Alecto Carrow. Regular Thread. Happy Valentine's Day! That's right, the night on which the school throws the Valentine's Ball. Sirius attends with Alecto however the night gets off to an annoying start when he learns that James and Marlene have been named the Valentine's Prince and Princess. Sirius tells himself it's not a big deal but as the rest of night goes on and he argues with Alecto, he realizes that the real big deal is his crumbling relationship.

Melanie Rousseau. Note Thread. Stepping in to save his friend from the endless boredom of class, Sirius passes notes with Mel, relieved to see that Marls's best friend hasn't followed in her footsteps on the whole let's-hate-Sirius front. The two friends flirt and chat for a bit and arrange a little date in Hogsmeade on the weekend. Er, did he say date? Visit. Meeting. That's all.

Melanie Rousseau. Regular Thread. Sirius heads to meet up with Mel for their scheduled non-date, feeling happy at the thought of spending time with his friend. Or is it because he'll have to milk for information about Marlene? Right at the start, the question becomes an issue, as Sirius almost finds himself asking how Marls is doing before asking after Mel herself.

Ethan Cartier. Note Thread. As it becomes apparent that he's not going to be able to let things Marlene to continue the way they are, Sirius decides he'll need back up if he's ever going to get her to meet with him and chooses Cartier as the perfect man for the job. The two pass notes that are first slightly hostile and then more relaxed as Cartier agrees to the plan. On the condition that Sirius tries to get Indigo to meet up with him, of course. Because apparently Gryffindor boys and relationships just don't go over so well.

Indigo Grace. Note Thread. Set to fulfil his end of the bargain, Sirius passes a note to Indigo, planning to chat her up first and then get to the part where he convinces he to meet up with Ethan. Casually bringing it up, of course. But she catches on fast, although thankfully agrees to think about it. Despite having paid off his end of the deal, however, Sirius continues chatting with Indigo, enjoying their friendly banter.

Claribel Evangeline. Note Thread. "Save me." Not exactly the most cheerful note to receive. From anyone else, Sirius would laugh it off as a joke but he knows that things aren't so well with Bell. and tries to cheer her up and prompt her into conversation at the same time, stepping into the concerned friend role again as the two decide to discuss things outside of the classroom.

Claribel Evangeline. Regular Thread. Sirius follows Bell outside to see what's wrong and try and figure how he can possibly cheer up is friend from her depressed state. She's a bit of a mess and he tries to talk to her, knowing that his friend really needs someone right now.

Andromeda Black. Note Thread. Being as absorbed in his own problems as Sirius has been, he hasn't exactly been paying the most attention to how everyone else is going. Or most specifically, his cousin. But something seems to be a bit off with her so he passes her note, wondering if she's just maybe feeling sick. Her defensive reaction quickly leaves him no doubt that something bigger is going on. And makes him determined to get to the bottom of it - although he doesn't end up succeeding.

Marlene McKinnon. Regular Thread. The moment of truth. Sirius isn't worried about Marlene showing - after all, she thinks she's meeting Ethan - just about whether or not she'll march off when she sees him or just slap him. When she does arrive, acting just as annoyed as would be expected, he quickly struggles to convince her to say. Surprisingly enough, finding the right words turns out to be both harder and easier than expected. Somehow he ends up getting it right and the night ends with an old friendship being given a new start.

James Potter. Regular Thread. Quidditch practice may be great for getting Sirius's head out of all his problems but even it can't erase them. Especially not when he finds himself talking to James about his problems with Alecto. Namely that she thinks he has feelings for Marls. James doesn't seem to find the situation that hard to deal with but he's also missing one teensy bit of information. Alecto's right. Something which Sirius ends up spilling. That he does have feelings for Marlene.

Isabella Swan. Regular Thread. Waking up after a not-so-pleasant dream, Sirius ends up arriving almost-late to class but manages to snag a seat by Bella and after the two pass notes for a while, they agree to meet up after out by the willow. Sirius goes along but when they start talking again, it becomes apparent that Bella has some other reason for being there as she fumbles over how to let him know that she knows he's an Animagus. Somehow, everything gets out and open and Bella gets to have to fun petting a big, black dog.

Anette Baker. Regular Thread. Sirius finds himself in library, wonder of wonders, to work on a project but he's not anticipating who else he'll find there. Especially not Anette Baker, recently back from her vacation away from Hogwarts. Things are awkward at first as he tries to figure out where things stand between the two of them, and then grow even worse as he ends up stammering about his problems with Alecto and Marls in an attempt to try and judge Anette's feelings. Turns out she still likes him. And he still likes her too. Just not enough. So... friends?

Indigo Grace. Regular Thread. Feeling a tad rebellious, Sirius heads out to Hogsmeade... as a dog. Playing the part of stray, he wanders around until he spots the familiar face of Indigo and can't help but to head over, especially after all the dog jokes she made during their last conversation - jokes which she, of course, didn't understand in the slightest. Of course, she won't have that problem again after he explains - back in human form - that the dog she just cuddled and cooed over was him.

Alecto Carrow. Note Thread. As was only a matter of time, Sirius passes a note to Alecto with the cryptic and always ill-boding words "We need to talk." Needless to say, the conversation that ensues wouldn't exactly suit the dictionary definition of "pleasant".

Alecto Carrow. Regular Thread. Sirius heads out to the lake to meet up with Alecto so they can break-up and get it over with. He's surprised when he sees her and realizes that things might not be easy as they were in his head, that there are so many feelings clouding his head and confusing him. But he manages to get it out all the same and, on the whole, it ends up going over much better than he would have anticipated, to say the least.

Marlene McKinnon. Note Thread. Now that he's gone and broken up with Alecto, Sirius decides to pass on the news to Marls, delighted that things are going back to normal between them. But everything still seems bittersweet as he tries not to let on that he has feelings for her. Although apparently he does a good job as Marlene is left with the suspicion that he's crushing on Indigo Grace. Nice. But on the bright side, things end on quite the happy note.

Regulus Black. Note Thread. What begins with Sirius prodding Regulus to find out if the rumors about him and Lily Evans are true quickly escalates into bitter insults and retorts (although Regulus all but admits that the rumors are true) until Regulus, seeming to catch on to something, goes too far and Sirius ends up punching him in the face, not caring that they're in the middle of a classroom.

Lily Evans. Regular Thread. With the rumors of a Lily and Regulus relationship practically confirmed, Sirius is anything but pleasant as he stumbles upon her by the willow. Adding into the equation that he's only too happy to blame her for the entire mess with James and Marlene and quite a bit of arguing ensues. He's shocked to find out the Lily is in love with James... And even more so when he blurts out what he hasn't even been admitting himself: That he's in love with Marls.

Lily Evans. Note Thread. Sirius receives a note from Lily in class, informing him that James and Marls have broken up. He's shocked by the news but quickly becomes angry when Lily starts to tell him how miserable James is and how he should be a good friend to him. The two bicker rudely back and forth for a while before finally calming down and ending on a more friendlier note as they wish each other luck with their new dilemnas.

James Potter & Olivia Thompson. Regular Thread. It's time for the Quidditch team to practice but Captain James isn't in the best of moods. Especially not towards Sirius, seeing as things are still fairly awkward between the two of them and oh yeah, there's that teensy little factor that James and Marls just broke up and James knows that Sirius is in love with her.

Alice Logan. Regular Thread. Heading outside for some fresh air, Sirius heads down to the lake, where he stumbles upon Alice with her nose in some romance novel. Pleased to see one of his closest friend, Sirius revolves not to drag her into the mess of everything else and the two just enjoy a good time together catching up - Sirius fighting off a strange bit of jealousy when he hears about her upcoming date with Frank Longbottom.

James Potter. Note Thread. Sirius receives another note informing him of James and Marlene's break-up, this time from James himself, and Sirius tries to explain why he didn't tell James himself that he's in love with Marls and then goes on to try and figure out how James really feels about Lily. Things end on a surprising note.

Lucy Murphy. Note Thread. Sirius nearly decides not to go his first class of the morning but changes at his mind at the last minute and ends up sneaking up late. Thankfully, he snags a note by Lucy Murphy and, after asking her what he missed, the two continue to pass notes of playful banter. They're living proof that it is possible to be friends with your ex. Or at least... friends who flirt heavily with each other in every other sentence. But, you know, same thing.

Marlene McKinnon. Note Thread. Sirius decides to reach out to Marlene and see how she's faring after her break-up with James. Things aren't look that well to begin with and then Marls startles him by asking him how he feels about her, saying that she heard something but needs him to tell her truth. Sirius tries to play ignorant at first but when that doesn't work, he realizes that his only options are to lie and let her find out from Lily or James or tell her truth. So he tells her the truth: that he's in love with her. And Marls? She runs out of the classroom in tears.

Marlene McKinnon. Regular Thread. Feeling horrible and immediately regretting his foolish confession, Sirius runs out of the classroom after Marlene, desperate to apologize and then comfort her when he finds her sitting on the floor crying. It isn't right away that he realizes that she's crying over James and not just what Sirius told her and though she tells him that she doesn't love him, she also says that she needs him to stay with her and so he does, sitting there and holding there until he misinterprets something she says and makes another colossal mistake... That is, he kisses her.

Ethan Cartier. Note Thread. Sirius is surprised when Ethan confronts him in a note during class asking if there's anything going on between him an Alice. Assuring him that they're just friends, Sirius is easily frustrated all the same and makes a sarcastic comment that rashly admits to his feelings for Marls. Ethan is shocked and the pair exchange some mocking banter and choice words before finally calming down enough for Sirius to explain what happened with Marls and Ethan to give Sirius some advice about the whole situation.

Andromeda Black. Note Thread. Shocked beyond words when he reads in the tabloid the story of how his cousin has supposedly "switched over the dark side" Sirius confronts her angrily in class, even as he knows in the pit of his stomach that it can't possibly be true. But Annie's reaction proves him wrong and as she runs out of the classroom, he's left feeling furious with the one person he always expected to be there for him.

Narcissa Black. Note Thread. Sirius decides to confront Cissa during class, sending her a note demanding why she had to go and drag Annie into everything. As it turns out, his cousin is just as pleased as he is that the Ravenclaw has become the newest member of their little group, ordering Sirius to do something about it. But Annie is soon forgotten as the two get to arguing about Sirius and their family itself, both exasperated by the other's opinion and not willing to back down an inch.

Indigo Grace & Party Guests*. Regular Thread. Unexpectedly enough, Sirius shows up at the Grace's high society party. His only goal, however, is to make the evening a little bit more enjoyable for Indigo, whom he pities for being stuck with all the snobby purebloods for the night. Ignoring his own family, he finds Indigo outside and the two friends spend the rest of the night chatting, removed from the boring affair going on inside.

Alice Logan. Regular Thread. Wandering around the halls at night in a desperate state, Sirius is shocked when he finds a clearly upset Alice sobbing her eyes out. Forgetting about everything else, he goes to comfort her, wondering what could possibly be wrong. He ends up carrying her outside to the willow for some fresh, night air and listening to her tell him about her unfortunate date with Frank. Before he realizes it, feelings that have been suppressed between the two of them for years are rising up and the night takes a very new direction.

Alice Logan. Regular Thread. Sirius wakes up and finds himself outside by the whomping willow... With Alice. Remembering the course of last night, he can't help but feel overwhelmed by everything - notably the fact that he slept with the one girl he'd never even allowed himself to kiss before. Neither he or Alice seem to know exactly where to go from there except for the fact that it wasn't just some random hook-up. With that much clear in mind, he asks her to be his girlfriend.

Lucy Murphy & William Dempsey. Regular Thread. Time Turner Thread: Sixth Year. Bored out of his mind as he sits around in the common room, Sirius is surprised when a girl he barely knows plops down beside him. Even more so when she promptly informs him that she wants to be his girlfriend and thinks that he should be her boyfriend. Finding the situation to be terribly amusing, Sirius can't help but admire her boldness and has to admit that she's much more entertaining than anything else that's going on. Plus she's pretty and well... To his own surprise as much as anyone else's, he finds himself saying yes, even when their day comprises him getting punched by a guy he barely knows. Hey, he can live with a little excitement. So yes, yes, yes. And the rest is history.

Marlene McKinnon. Note Thread. Surprised to receive a friendly note from Marls, Sirius can't help but wonder at her timing - but then realizes that she does know about him and Alice. Strangely - or perhaps not at all - she's happy and teasing as if everything is perfectly normal between them. But maybe it is? In any case, they both apologize for what happened in the halls and agree that everything between the two of them can just go back to being perfect. And Marls slips in a hint at some birthday present or another, leaving Sirius curious.

Marlene McKinnon. Regular Thread. Time Turner Thread: Fourth Year. Three days after finally asking out the girl who is also one of his best friends, it's the night of the date and Sirius is fluctuating being being nervous and being completely at ease. On the way down to the courtyard, however, he realizes that he forgot to get flowers or something of the sort and settles for plucking an apple from a nearby tree for her, saying that flowers are so ordinary. Any nerves or doubts about whether they're got the right idea about trying to be more than friends are put aside when they kiss for the first time.

Lily Evans. Regular Thread. Sirius is interrupted while in the midst of trying to figure things out by a furious Lily who would like to know how he could possibly be dating Alice when not too long ago he was saying that he was in love with Marls. Sirius doesn't really have an excuse, except to assure her that he does love Alice and has no desire to hurt her. But he also can't promise Lily the things she wants and when prompted, admits that while he loves Alice, he is still in love with Marls.

Gryffindors*. Regular Thread. It's the final Quidditch match of the year and emotions are running high. Gryffindor is in the lead, unstoppable in their efforts. Sirius, James, and Pierre have scored two goals each. Ethan and Niko are working great. Olivia is invincible.The team is coordinating so perfectly and then... the snitch is caught by Jacob Edwards! Gryffindor has won! The team and their house are elated and in high spirits as they head back up to the common room with one common thought: Party! But who said all parties have to be enjoyed?

Andromeda Black. Note Thread. Annoyed to receive a note from Annie wishing him a happy birthday tomorrow, Sirius at first does not respond. But then she passes him another note. And another. And says that she'll keep at it until he says something. So he gives in and writes back although the mood is anything but friendly between the two of them. And then Annie brings up Alice and things go even further downhill, ending with the both of them wishing each other a nice life.

Marlene McKinnon, Alice Logan, & Party Guests*. Regular Thread. Sirius Black is officially eighteen! And in a fantastic mood as he looks forward to spending the night hanging out with Marls, just further confirmation of how things are finally back to the way they were between them. With this in mind, Sirius decides that he should bring a little token for her, something to show just how thrilled he is - an apple. The perfect inside joke. But when he arrives he finds that it's not just the two of them after all - a huge surprise party has been organized and the courtyard is filled with his friends. The entire thing organized by Marls, of course. The two share a few moments of friendly affection - but it's enough to put off Alice, who claims to be feeling unwell when Sirius goes over to say hi. But Sirius to let the night be ruined for Marls after she put so much work into it and goes to figure out exactly what this mysteriously amazing present really is...

Lucy Murphy. Note Thread. A joking Sirius confronts Lucy about why she wasn't at his party, also seeking confirmation of the rumors going around about her and a certain Frank Longbottom. Rumors which turn out to be true - weirdly enough, in Sirius's mind. But he assures her that he's happy for her and the two go on to discuss the party and their own messed-up yet similar love lives. Bottom line? They just want each other to be happy. No matter what that means.

Alice Logan. Note Thread. Sirius wonders if Alice wants to spend time together on the upcoming Hogsmeade visit but as it turns out that she's still feeling sick, she doesn't think she'll even be going. The birthday party is tentatively brought up and it seems a bit awkward before the subject is changed and the agree to spend the afternoon hanging out once their classes are over, ending on a much more positive note ♥

Marlene McKinnon & Other Students*. Regular Thread. It's the last Hogsmeade visit of the year. The last one in Sirius's last year at Hogsmeade. So of course there's a fair bit of nostalgia in the air. Alice doesn't feel like going to Hogsmeade and so Sirius goes with Marls instead. And although he feels worried enough about that to show up late, he's unable to help feeling slightly pleased that things turned out in a way that allows him to spend his very last Hogsmeade visit with the girl who's been there since day one and someone who will also be graduating this year. Not to mention the fact that they've been best friends since that day one. So yes, it certainly seems more than fitting to spend it together. What they definitely aren't counting on, however, is that the procession of carriages bringing them there will be attacked by masked figures bent on causing chaos. Destruction takes over while Sirius focuses on two things: Keep Marls safe. And get out of there.

Forcing all the doubts that have haunting him for the past weeks away, Sirius is completely focused on Alice and spending the night having a good time with her. He's doing his best not to even think of Marls but that's made quite difficult when she storms over, furious and with something to say that will change everything. Lily Evans. Regular Thread. Things have been tense between Sirius and Lily ever since Sirius and Alice broke up. Or well, ever since Sirius let Alice run off and told Marls that he loved her too at grad. But Lily's been doing a good job of at least being civil until this morning when the two of them find themselves alone in the kitchen and Sirius decides that the best course of action would be to provoke her into letting it all out. Which he realizes after might not have been of the best of plans. At least things end up - sorta? - resolved.

Marlene McKinnon. Owl Thread. While Marls is off in Italy working hard, she invites Sirius to come with her to Kiki's upcoming party. He of course agrees and the two of them write back and forth, discussing how things are going for each of them and how much they miss each other.

Lucy and Sirius write to each other about their respective summers, letters full of their usual flirty banter as they chat about how their summers are going, as well as how their significant others are. 'Course, Lucy's the one off having fun in India while he's still in England but you know, let's just say he's living vicariously through her for now.

Alice Logan. Owl Thread. Sirius sends multiple letters to Alice, trying to apologize for everything. It takes a while for her to write back and that's only after he's gone and sent a rather angry owl he regrets. He tries to apologize and talk things over with her but to his dismay, Alice simply wants to blame herself for everything that happened and refuses to believe that she should be happy too.

Andromeda Black. Owl Thread. Since peace-making worked out so well (or not) with Alice, Sirius decides he might as well try his hand with Annie as well, giving her one last change. However, as she also doesn't reply to his letters at first, it becomes clear that she doesn't want to take it. She only replies when he mentions Alice and the two confuse each other before everything is finally straightened out and they end correspondence, with nothing resolved. If anything, things are even worse.

Alecto Carrow. Regular Thread. Wandering around in Diagon, Sirius runs into the last person he expected to see, none other than Alecto herself. Instead of keeping things short - as an intelligent person probably would - he finds himself engaging in conversation with her. Things are weirdly both normal and abnormal at the same time but it's all going relatively well until he catches a glimpse of a certain tattoo and things spiral out of control. But despite it all, he assures her that he isn't going to say anything. For whatever reason, her secret's sake with him.

Lily Evans. Regular Thread. Sirius, James, Remus, and Lily have all been approached by the Order set on opposing the Dark Lord and Sirius is more than excited to be off on his first "mission." Well, a small one at least, sent to study someone of a potentially suspicious nature. Of course, he's not being sent to spy by himself, no. He's been assigned a partner. And of all the people in the world who he could be supposed to work together with... It's Lily. Yeah, this is going to go well.
