Dear Alice,
How free's your weekend? Things have finally settled down at the office, so I was thinking perhaps we might meet up on Saturday? I talked to the man who owns the building I was telling you about, and he says he's got a couple rooms free. If you're still up for that. If you want we can just Don't feel oblig
Anyway, let me know. Can't wait to hear from you.
Love,

Dear Frank,
I was starting to think you'd forgotten all about me! Geez, busy few months, huh? I don't blame you, though, there's been so much bad stuff going on. I'll bet they're trying to train you as fast as possible to get you out on the streets ASAP. By the way, is it true they're possibly bringing Aurors to patrol Hogwarts? Or is it just Hogsmeade? If so, are you one of them??
This Saturday sounds perfect. What time?
Lots of love,

Dear Alice,
How could I ever forget about you? You're my best girl, remember? But yes, you're right, we've been training like crazy. I've barely gotten enough sleep in the past month and a half. My Valentine's Day consisted of work, and falling asleep with my face buried in my dog's fur.
Yeah, it is true. There's not exactly a shortage of Aurors, and they're putting everybody on patrol stations as quickly as possible. Not me, yet, though. One of the guys in my group is going. They want more people near Headquarters ready for action, you know? So until further notice, I'm staying here.
Why, did you want to see me more often?
And great. How's noon for you?
Love,

Dear Frank,
Fair enough. That sounds like a horrible Valentine's Day. I went on a blind date, organised by the school. It was pretty good to be honest. Oooh, how IS Tails?! Tell him I miss him!
Mhmm, yeah, I know what you mean. And I have no idea to what you are referring to, I was merely asking an innocent question.
Noon's brilliant.
Lots of love,

Dear Alice,
It wasn't that bad. Without a date, there was not much else I could've done. Oh... did you? Who was your date? I know all about those, and I'm surprised it went well. Not that you--I'm glad it went well, I just haven't had the best of experiences with those, as you know. Who was it with? Anybody I know? And yeah, I shall. He's wagging his tail at you right now. I don't know why he likes you so much.
Mm, sure you were. So you haven't missed me at all since last time I saw you... at your party.
Great.
Love,

Dear Frank,
Hmm, I guess that's true. I'm sure Tails was great company, though. I don't think you know him. He was a Hufflepuff, my year, though. His name's Jacob. He was very charming, and we had another date the week after, but I don't think it's really working out. He's a bit too tame for my tastes to be honest. I seem to like Gryffindors the most for some reason, is that bad? xD Um, dogs love me okay I'm very loveable remember??
Nope, not one bit.
Okay, I can't even lie about that. I do miss you. The party was aaaaaaaages ago oh gosh I barely even remember it.
Lots of love,

Dear Alice,
Yeah, I don't. I don't know anybody named Jacob. Kind of a lame name, isn't it? No offense, of course. But oh, really? So you're... still seeing him? Or did that stop after the last date? Wait, really? How very stereotypical of you. (; But no, not bad at all. Most of my friends are or were in Gryffindor now that I think about it. I like badass people.
I knew you'd missed me. I can't be the only one acting touchy-feely about all this, can I? I know. Almost three months ago, it's insane. But really? Nothing at all? Because I seem to remember some rather interesting moments there.
I like messing with you. Although not having seen each other for three months after we kissed out of the blue might give people the wrong impression, Alice. You really have to make more of an effort to talk to me, darling.
Love,

Dear Frank,
Actually, I like the name Jacob! I think it's a brilliant name. I dunno if I'm still seeing him, he asked me out again for this Friday night and I'm gonna see how that one goes. If there's still no chemistry, I'll probably break it off and ask that we remain friends or something. Hey, you'll probably be one of the first to know since we're meeting up on Saturday! Gryffindors ARE pretty badass, yes xD
I was only saying that to show how long it's been and you know it xD Of course I remember kissing you. It's the most dramatic kiss I've done, running across the room and leaping into your arms. Nice catch by the way.
Well, I wouldn't want to bother the ~super busy~ auror. Friendship is a two-way street, Mr. Longbottom!
Lots of love,

Dear Alice,
Oh, did he? Wow, that's cool. Yeah, I guess I will be! Haha. But yeah, you know what, I'd say just go with whatever feels right, you know? If you don't think you can be really into him, then just break it off. It's better to do it early than get into a relationship you're not completely sure of and then have to back out and break the guy's heart.
Ditto on that. We should have had it filmed somehow. Framed and all. I'm pretty sure I knocked into three people on my way across the room who weren't too happy with me afterwards. Oh, thank you. I practice catching girls on a daily basis, you know me.
And my side of the street is plenty packed with traffic! ...that was a terrible joke.
Love,

Dear Frank,
Yep! He said he'd have a picnic for us or something by the lake. I hope it doesn't rain. And yeah, that sounds like pretty sound advice. Thanks, Frank!
We really should have! And then we can show it to all the couples and be like "yeah Frank and I are epic and we're not even a couple!" and make them all incredibly jealous muahaha. And of course you do, it must be a huge part of your training.
It really was terrible, but I laughed anyway xD

Dear Alice,
A picnic? How... romantic. Well, yeah, hopefully it doesn't rain. Doesn't seem like it, though. It hasn't been raining much lately.
Exactly! You get me. It really was kind of awesome, though. I'm pretty sure that's the most successful mind-reading I've ever done, and had done, in my life.
You know, my dad would be saying you're a keeper. Any girl who laughs at your worst jokes should stay around. But of course, I already knew that of you. See? I keep you around for more than my own amusement.
Love,

Dear Frank,
It should be, I think! He's really thoughtful like that. Yeah, but you know the UK. It's raining like 70% of the year.
I know, right? It's like we were totally on the same brain wavelength. So brilliant.
I KNEW IT. Personally, I don't mind. As long as you keep me around xD

Dear Alice,
Okay, well that's nice. Good luck on that.
Very brilliant. Well, we've decided that I am keeping you around. So, we're good? (:

Dear Frank,
Thanks!!
We're very good, yes :]
So, tell me about this auror stuff. What sort of training do you guys do? Like, wand combat? Strategy? Tactics? I dunno I'm mostly just saying random, nerdy words xD

Dear Alice,
Oh, it's endless. We had to take some aptitude tests last year, just as we started, to determine our character and everything. Almost everybody passed that one. They look at your criminal records and everything. Thank god mine went unnoticed, huh? (;
We're mostly doing practical training for magical combat, defense, and we've just started thorough lessons on criminal investigation. We've got to learn proper concealment and stealth, tracking. It's as fun as it sounds, but also harder than it does. And we're only just finishing our first year here. We've got two more to go until we're fully graduated from the course. But then again, with the way things are going in the world, I don't know if they might speed up the process.
And thus concludes Frank Longbottom's career survey.
Love,
