Hun, there is a figurative but very existent rain cloud hanging over your head. You don't have to talk about it but I'm known to give good advice on occasion. You might want to give it a whirl.tag - calixto!

Oh. Oh, well. Yeah, something... I think I did something wrong.

Don't we all do things wrong? No one is perfect, as much as we try.

Yeah, I guess. It's just that... Mica, three of my friends aren't speaking to me. I don't know what to do, this has never happened to me before.

Cal, what is going on? If these friends are my friends too I could talk to them, if you wanted me to.

It started with the Yule Ball, I think. I went to the ball with my friend Serena, who apparently isn't on good terms with Gracie. You know, Gracie Marlow right? Well, she got really upset about it. Things kinda blew up at the ball. I wanted to get to see all my friends, but... Serena got mad that I wanted to save a dance for Gracie and ran off, and when I finally found Gracie, she and Julien were both upset and then Julien started yelling and before I knew it, I was alone.
I think there's more to it than that, but truthfully I'm still trying to straighten things out in my head.
I'm completely out of my element here.

I only know of one Serena so tell me if I'm wrong but, are you talking about Serena Lovelace?
That's awful Cal, I'm so sorry. So you've tried to talk to Gracie, Julien, and Serena but none of them will speak to you? Do you think....Gracie may have wanted to go to the Yule Ball with you? I may be asking a tad too many questions, I know.

Yes, Serena Lovelace.
No, don't be sorry, it's my fault anyway. Yeah, and yeah I know that was the first problem, I guess. But I told Gracie that I would have gladly went with her had I not already promised Serena.

I'm starting to think I don't know as much about her as I thought. But, Serena was nice to me before this all happened.
Ha, thanks Mica. I'm just not sure. They made it seem like I was picking one over the other, and that wasn't what I wanted to do at all.
Maybe. I'll see who I can talk to. I'm worried about Julien too, a lot. He got mad about Serena and was really defensive about Gracie...I think it hit a personal nerve.
I want to buy them each something in apology. Just to make up for everything, you know?

And now she isn't. Some people are very deceptive.
Don't you think you should be picking one over the other? If they both like you as more than a friend, then wouldn't you need to choose one? Not that you can't be friends with the other girl, but as far as taking one to a very date-like dance.
I do think Noah Ochard is friends with Gracie, but he's a bit..much.
I'm sorry I just laughed! I was only thinking about how Julien's last name is Cross and now he's cross with you. Anyway.
Of course, although you don't have to buy their friendship. I hope you don't feel that way.

I still don't like being on bad terms with people though.
But they're both my friends. Or were, I don't know They....might, you know, like me, but I just want to be friends with both of them. It wasn't supposed to be about choosing one or the other, I just figured out that Serena wanted to go to the ball with me before I found out that Gracie did as well.
Now I wish I never went to the thing.
It's okay, it's okay. They can't avoid me forever right? I should just keep trying, right?
No, no of course I wouldn't buy their friendship! I only want to show them how sorry I am that I ruined their night, and that I still care and want to make amends.

No, that's never any fun.
This is a bit of a tangled web, you poor little fly.
They can't. I mean they could, but I'm sure they don't want to. Perhaps giving them a little bit of space may not hurt, and it would give you some relief not to think every day about what you can try to get them to speak to you. When I avoid someone, it's because I want some time alone to sort it all out.
Aww Cal, remind me to give you a hug after class.

It is, isn't it? I can't believe I managed to weave it.
Yeah, you're probably right about the space thing, though it has been a while. Or at least, it seems like it's been long to me, I miss them. Well, I guess I need some more time to pick out something nice, anyway.
I would like a hug, very much. Thanks Mica.

It certainly wasn't just you.
It could be good for you. I'm sure I could help you with that, the picking out something nice.
It's decided then: I'm going to give you the most incredible hug you have ever had. You might wish I hadn't hugged you, on account of no other hug will ever measure up again.
