Canon or Original? original
Distinguishing Physical Features: One of her most distinguishing features is her square-shaped face – specifically, her broad jaw. She’s got a dimpled smile, with straight, white teeth and pink lips. Her nose is long and broad, complete with a little bump on the bridge – one of her least favorite features. Her hair is long and naturally wavy, and her eyes are the same dark brown shade. Her brows are thick and curved. Clementine is taller than most girls at Hogwarts, standing just under five feet, ten inches. She has a lot of strength from quidditch, swimming, running, as well as a training in tae kwon do. Her waist is smaller than her hips and breasts, but she’s not particularly curvaceous. Overall she looks like a very healthy young lady.
Wand Type: oak, phoenix feather, 11 ¾ inches Patronus: moose Boggart: herself, trapped in a room Personality:
clementine, when she’s happy…
When Clementine is really, truly happy, she smiles from ear to ear and becomes bouncy and laughs way too much – wait, correction, giggles. If someone say something super funny, that’s when she really starts laughing, and Clementine is a snorter. Clementine isn’t happy a ton – I mean, most of the time she’s just tired or disinterested or she’d rather be some where else - but if you catch her on the right day, at the right time, you’ll see this side of her. She becomes considerably more talkative, nicer, and definitely funnier. It takes a while for her to unwind – not that she’s particularly uptight or anything, she’s just not always enthusiastic about everything, that’s all. She does tend to be happier after a good game of quidditch or a nice day spent with friends. Clementine also tends to become giddy in the weeks leading up to Christmas, as well as around the end of March and early April when the weather starts to get nicer. Christmas is her absolute favorite, and she loves when spring comes around. The good weather and sunshine makes her a happy girl.
clementine, when she’s angry…
She doesn’t have a short fuse, per se, but she’s emotional and feels very passionately. Certainly some have said she’s overreacted about something more than once, because she’s so vocal about her opinions and she’s stubborn so she knows how to hold one hell of a grudge. Everything is black and white for her, good or bad – and as soon as you’re doing something on the wrong end of the spectrum, Clementine will not be pleased. She doesn’t walk around chastising anyone who steals a kid’s lunch money - although, if she saw something like that, she would unquestionably interfere. She also doesn’t always directly face those she’s angry towards, especially in tricky situations when she knows someone is doing something awful and she wants them to stop. But Clementine doesn’t trust herself to not blow a gasket, and that wouldn’t make the situation better at all. Venting to friends does help, but there are times when the anger hits her so suddenly, she reacts immediately. And one of the worst things to do when she’s upset is to tell her to calm down; she absolutely hates being told what to do, and this will only make her angrier.
clementine, when she’s fine…
Clementine here has what people generally tend to refer to as permanent bitch face. She’s not particularly bright, bubbly, or even very friendly, so it’s not as if she walks around the halls smiling so much her cheeks hurt. But just because she looks grumpy when she’s not engaged in a rousing conversation doesn’t mean she’s having a shit day. She’s probably just fine, thank you very much, and if there’s anything that annoys her it’s people who walk up to her and demand if she’s okay, as if they expected her to open up about all of her life problems (if she WERE upset in the first place). Which wouldn’t happen. Ever. She’s open-minded and typically rather curious about other people, being quite observant, but she doesn’t take kindly when people try to pry into her business. Besides that, when she’s in a perfectly normal mood, she’s just… herself. She’d crack a few jokes here and there, probably say or do something awkward. Clementine is, surprisingly, a great conversationalist (so long as it doesn’t involve talking about herself), but her slight introversion keeps her from initiating conversation herself, unless it’s with her closest friends.
clementine, when in class…
She’s very smart, although she lacks certain traits that would ensure academic success. She isn’t particularly interested in having the top grades in the class – although let the record show if she were competitive about it as she is with quidditch, she would be giving the top students a run for their money. Clementine is terrible at studying, as she’s easily distracted and she doesn’t really feel it’s necessary because she has such a good memory. Even still, as well as she can do on pop quizzes and exams, she will always struggle with the more time consuming homework – essays specifically. Awful at time management, Clementine is quite the procrastinator, which means on most days, she’s sleep deprived and not in the best of spirits. She procrastinates more on the work from her least favorite subjects, and her favorite subjects get the most attention. Her favorite class is defense against the dark arts, followed shortly by potions and transfiguration. She’s not particularly fond of care of magical creatures or divination. She has buckled down a little more since being placed in N.E.W.T. classes, but she’s trying not to take things tooseriously for now. Clementine has her hopes set on being an auror, which honestly wasn’t something she’d considered before the attacks started happening.
clementine, when she’s in love…
It takes a while for Clementine to start feeling that way about a person – she has trust issues, so it might take months for her to feel truly comfortable about someone. That being said, she’s not the type to rush into a relationship; generally, she starts to like a boy after she’s known him for quite some time, and gotten close with him in friendship. She doesn’t really have a type, although as a basic rule she doesn’t like douchebags, and she absolutely needs to feel protected when she’s with a guy. As stated earlier, she’s emotional and feels very passionately, and there is no exception in this aspect of her life. She’ll put her whole heart into a relationship and dedicate herself entirely to him. Jealousy is something she struggles with and she won’t be very happy if she feels like she’s being ignored. Clementine is very physical, and although she wasn’t particularly fond of extravagant public displays of affection, she will be sure to please behind closed doors. Although she prefers these relations to be with someone she truly cares about, she has had a few slip-ups. She embraces her sexuality, but would never want to pressure a guy into doing something they weren’t comfortable with yet.

History:
clementine’s parents
Roman Knight was 28 when he met Samantha Betts. He’ll always tell people he kept his cool, but in reality he almost stopped breathing, she was so beautiful. Samantha was from Montrose, Scotland, and she was visiting Falmouth to cover the Quidditch game there that weekend – she was a journalist intern for the Daily Prophet. He vaguely recognized her from Hogwarts, and knew she must have been a few years younger than he was. They hit it off quite easily, becoming fast friends; with the convenience of apparition, they visited each other quite frequently, Samantha typically enjoying coming in to his bar after a long day of work and having a drink or two. They remained casual for about six months, and then Roman asked her on a date; more followed, and eventually they were engaged to be married.
Roman sold his bar, just outside Falmouth stadium, and relocated his belongings to an apartment the pair bought in Montrose. It was a brand new building, absolutely gorgeous, with plenty of room to start a family. Roman decided to save the money from selling his bar for the wedding, and got a job as a bartender at the bar just outside of the stadium the Montrose Magpies played. It was the most winning team in the league, so there were plenty of customers. Samantha continued working at the Daily Prophet, and by the time of the wedding, she had moved up from an intern to a full-time columnist in the sports section. Their engagement was a year and a half long, and they had a small summer wedding. Everything was going very well for Roman and Samantha Knight.
After trying, trying, trying, and even more trying, Samantha finally became pregnant after three years. Samantha had bad endometriosis and was told she would never conceive. So when they found out, the pair were ecstatic, and both very ready for parenthood. They found out their little bean was a boy, and she began decorating the second bedroom to give her little one a home. Unfortunately, sometime in her second trimester, things went wrong; she miscarried. They were absolutely devastated.
clementine’s life Two years later – six after their marriage – Clementine Sienna Knight was born, a healthy, happy little girl. By this time, the owner of the bar Roman was working at had passed, leaving the bar to Roman. Samantha was happy as ever, working on her journalism and moving up at the Prophet. She even had a book she was writing on the side, for young adults. The pair were still very much in love, and continued to live in the apartment they got when they became engaged. Samantha re-did the nursery, painting it pink for their little girl. Clementine was a sweet baby, full of smiles and giggles. As she grew it became obvious she was a witch, just like her parents.
Her neighbor, Roxy, was really her only friend, besides the nice old guys she talked to about quidditch in her dad’s bar when she had no where else to go. Roxy came over when her parents were fighting, and Clementine liked to pretend they were sisters because she’d always wanted one. It turned out Roxy was a witch too, and when they both got her letters, the thought of going to live at Hogwarts with her best friend became so very real.
Now in her sixth year, she’s a well-adjusted young lady, with the best friends a girl could ask for. She finds ways to keep herself busy when she’s not studying or at least trying to or in class. She’s paying close attention to the blood purity uprising, and being sure she plays plenty of attention in defense against the dark arts so she knows how to protect herself and those who can’t protect themselves. And she still has Roxy by her side. All she’s gotta do is just get through the next year and a half until she’s free to do whatever her little heart desires – hopefully, become an Auror.
Sample Post: you so funny
