This had always been one of his favourite lessons to give the younger years, so Hagrid was especially excited for this prospect, and it showed on his large face as he beckoned the students to follow him to the edge of the forest. "No worries, we're not going in there," he called over his shoulder when he heard a few slytherins murmuring about it. He stopped by the edge and turned back to them, holding up his hands and then rubbing them together in enthusiasm. "Right. Ye just wait here and I'll go get 'em," he said, and then turned and walked into the forest. He returned several minutes later, leading along an adult unicorn, who was closely followed by a golden, baby unicorn. "This here is my favourite lesson for the yung'uns, especially since the younger ye are, the more that unicorns are comfortable with ya. They also have a tendency to prefer lasses," he added as an after thought, giving the blokes a sympathetic look. "Ladies, feel free to come up and stroke 'em," he added.
