It is sweet of you to point out that I'm sweet...if that makes sense, because the number of times I've said 'sweet' in my head lately is making it sound weird. Like it shouldn't be pronounced that way. Or spelled like that.
Does that happen to you, too?

I'm not lying, I promise. I do think you're sweet. Because somebody else could have just laughed at me for wanting to tell that girl she has a nice laugh, but you thought it was sweet.

Jayden bit his lip and tried not to blush, unsuccessfully. How was he supposed to reply to that? It was almost like he was annoying Gisele, talking to her, even though she'd called him sweet and that was a compliment, right? Gabby sometimes called him sweet, and she liked him loads. Gisele was so hard to figure out, and it kind of scared him.
I'm--I'm sorry. Am I bothering you? Just let me know and I'll keep to myself next time, or ask the boy on the other side of her, and I would have asked him instead of you, but it looks like he might be her boyfriend, and I don't want to step on any toes, yah?
