Ian is one of those characters that has been around forever and that you just can’t help but absolutely adore. Without even going into the yummy sexiness that is Jensen Ackles, I honestly love what Seraph has done with this boy. Even though, admittedly, I’ve never actually plotted with him before—which is absolutely ridiculous holy shit I have to fix this—I’ve read a couple of his threads with other people, and he’s simply charming. Funny, and sweet, and his whole romance with Wendy is to die for. Seraph, I’ve never doubted you, but I’m gonna admit that Ian’s one of my favorites from you. His absolute boyishness and the way he handles himself is adorable and he really, really deserves this award, because he’s fantastic, and I know as much as anybody the effort you put into him, and how much you love him even if he doesn’t have Matt Cohen’s arms so, yes, I’m just going to say congratulations girl, you deserve this.

It's funny because I think most of my characters probably wouldn't get along too well with Ian Fleming. He comes off as a goodie-goodie, arrogant Gryffindor type. Classic hero-coming-to-the-rescue type situation, but Seraph's portrayal of Mr. Fleming is a lot more than that. While my Slytherin muses might cringe away from him, I actually really like how he doesn't go the pretentious savior root, but instead is a more of a "if you don't let me help you, I'm going to kick your ass". He's a nice guy with an edge, really, which makes for more interesting plots and story lines. Then you have the storyline between Ian and Wendy which is great to watch unfold because they're both so bull-headed, but Ian's relationship to her comes off as very real and void of that lovie-dovie romance, which is a nice change of pace. He's also hilarious. Maybe not vocally, but some of Seraph's inner dialogue for Ian usually gets me snorting to myself. Ian has a lot to him and he's far from being a stereotype. I am far from bored whenever I read any thread Seraph posts for him in, so he's definitely my favorite male character!
