About the Character- -
Name: Victoria Diane Macmillan. Age: 14. Gender: Female. Year: 4th...5th soon? Face Claim: Megan Fox.
Canon or Original? Rgnl. [HEH! NO VOWELS!]
Facial Properties: Tori has blue eyes that occasionally find themselves somewhere between the shades of blue-grey and blue-green, depending on what she’s wearing. Her eyes are almond in shape, surrounded by long, dark, curly eyelashes, and framed by her eyebrows that are the epitome of perfection; they begin just above her tear duct, arch up and down and end at an angle away from the opposite corner of her eye. Her eye brows match the exact shade of her long, dark brown hair that begins at the end of her sloped forehead. She has a smaller, pointed nose just above her full lips that are constantly made-up with red lipstick. Her teeth are white and perfectly straight. Her cheekbones are high and she has full cheeks, noticeable especially when she smirks. Her skin tone is naturally olive and freckled lightly.
Physique: Tori has never been extremely tall, coming in at 5’6, but being a girl of fourteen, that’s certainly a bit on the higher end. And it doesn’t help that she loves wearing high heels, so that just makes her even taller. She’s got a fantastic body, sure to attract attention from boys. She pays attention to her physique and tries to keep in shape, doing things from playing Quidditch with friends or running around the lake or swimming in the lake. Her legs are strong and toned, especially her thighs. Her calves are a bit smaller when it comes to muscle, but they’re also very toned. The place she has most muscle is her upper arms, which are long and slender. At the end of her arms she has tiny wrists and tiny hands. Her abdomen is flat and toned, her tiny waist curving out into her larger hips. Her chest isn’t too big, nor is it too small – just perfect for the proportions of her body. Her collarbones stick out and lead up to her slender neck. All over her body, you’ll see tattoos she’s acquired over the year. The first tattoo she got was before her fourteenth birthday, located on her wrist. It’s a circle of two waves entwined together. It represents her two best friends, KiKi and Skye. Shortly after that tattoo, she was inked with a moon and a star on her ankle and the same day, a Chinese symbol standing for Strength on her neck. Even though she’s young, she has a fascination with body art and intends on getting more tattoos, two of which she already has planned out, both quotes from old English Literature.
Wand Type: Ten and a half inches, dragon heartstring, elm. Wand Expertise: Good for hexing people. Patronus: Leopard. Boggart: Herself, in love.
Personality: Victoria is a very demanding person. When she sees something and she wants it, she’ll do anything to get it, shamelessly pushing people out of the way – no matter what it takes. Some people don’t have problems referring to her as a selfish bitch; she doesn’t mind, she just likes to call it “ambitious” or “determined”. The words people call Tori hardly effect her; she knows people talk about her a lot, but their opinions mean nothing to her. Hell, they as people mean nothing to her. The only people’s opinions that matter are her best friends' and her family's. She listens to them. When people say words that are generally hurtful about her, she just brushes them off and moves on. She knows who she is and what sort of person she is, and she doesn’t need people trying to tell her. She’s down to earth and rolls her eyes at naïve people; she knows how things in life work and has no problem informing people of these facts of life when asked. But don’t think she’s a completely mean person constantly. She just tends to not like people who aren’t her friends and treats them like crap. Anyway, the people are lucky to be best friends with her know that Tori is a funny, caring person. It just takes a LOT - i.e., a good, strong relationship - to see that side of her.
Another thing that could be said about her is that she’s a whore- and well, quite frankly, that’s certainly a valid point. Like I said, she’ll try her damndest to get what she wants…and men are no exclusion. She’s also not afraid to push any annoying girlfriends out of the way. Men, for Tori, are more a game than anything. She’ll toy with them until she gets what she wants [whether that’s just a kiss or the whole nine yards, if you catch my drift] and once she’s done with that, it’s over. Yes, she fully believes in true love, but she doubts she’s going to find it anytime soon so why the hell not mess around, right? But….Tori, honestly, is absolutely horrified of the concept of being in love. She’s scared of having any real relationships – that is, ones that aren’t purely physical – because she’s so scared of being vulnerable. She always does what she can to be in power in the relationship [which isn’t really that hard for her] and she’s horrified of having those foreign butterfly-like feelings. She’s only experienced that sort of thing a few times, and she just stopped talking to those guys all together. She couldn’t handle not being able to know what words were going to come out of her mouth, or not knowing how pink her cheeks would be [cause it would be an honest tragedy if her lipstick shade clashed with her involuntary blushing cheeks], or not being able to wear high heels because she might trip cause her knees would shake so bad. And she hates that. She hates not knowing. She strives for power, basically.
One thing you’ll notice about Tori is that she’s vain. She cares an excessive amount about what she looks like. Not only herself, though, but she strives to surround herself by…well, attractive people. She wouldn’t be seen walking around with an obese person, or someone with a snaggle tooth, or someone who’s belt didn’t coordinate with their jeans that clearly clashed with their top. She’s picky about her friends she chooses and even pickier about what those friends look like. She’s not afraid to intervene with her extremely impressive makeup-hair-fashion knowledge that her mother taught her. However, there is one thing people often mistake about Tori….she really doesn’t spend five hours in front of a mirror everyday. She wakes up in the morning leaving herself about twenty minutes to get ready because she’s actually pretty low maintenance….but that might be just because she’s got the whole routine hammered down so well. She also isn’t afraid to flaunt her natural beauty, no matter how much she loves makeup; she knows she’s a pretty girl, so there isn’t much harm is passing a day without it, right? She’s also a very fashionable person, and will take whatever chance she gets to wear normal clothes at school. Her favorite items of clothing are dresses, and she wears them more than any person known to man.
Confidence is definitely Tori’s forte. She loves the spotlight, and works well in it…and she generally does whatever she can to stay in it and attain the attention of people she considers important. She’s not one to over or under estimate herself and she knows well what she’s capable of. She can admit when she thinks she’s going to do badly on something just as easily as she can brag about thinking she’ll ace something else. She definitely uses her confidence to her advantage, easily getting what she wants because she’s an incredibly good manipulator. She pays attention to what people do, constantly observing them….maybe even blackmailing. She likes to know what’s going on in other people’s lives so she can use it as bait to provoke people if she ever needs to. She eavesdrops, steals people’s diaries, corners and threatens people to get information she wants. It would also be un-wise to consider Tori to be an air-head – because many people do when first seeing or meeting her; she’s actually a very intelligent girl. She uses her cunning nature to gain information that benefits her. Whether or not this information is school related is a different matter…she’s got a lot of street-smarts, and a hefty amount of book-smarts as well. She really doesn’t like losing, so it’s understandable that she tries to keep up with those damn Ravenclaws, right? Another thing she’s talented with is lying. She’s got a pretty creative head, so she’s genius at everything from covering things up to getting out of homework assignments she failed to finish the night before to getting her friends out of any tricky situations. She’s also a pretty notorious gossiper, and mixing lies with gossip is never a good thing.

History: Once upon a time, Angela Burke and Michael Macmillan were going to be married. The two of them were very similar – both from extremely wealthy wizarding families, both of pure-blood descent, both from the house of Slytherin, both from a small town in Scotland. It was going to be a grand wedding, five hundred guests at least. There was a slight problem, though. Michael was not in love with Angela. And that, for him, was a big problem. Of course, it had always been important for him to marry a pureblood girl…just…not Angela. She wasn’t right for him. They hardly got along, and he certainly didn’t want to spend the rest of his life with her, living in the same house, attempting to parent children….so he had to devise a plan. He didn’t want to disappoint his parents and flee; that really wouldn’t work because he had a very important, prestigious apprenticeship at the Ministry of Magic, in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement Office. The wedding drew nearer and nearer and quite frankly, he didn’t know what to do. He wanted to make his parents happy – he was their only son, afterall – but in the process, he wanted to attain happiness as well. Surely he could find another woman they would be happy with…another woman who he was in love with, maybe?
And that’s when he realized he knew what to do. He needed to somehow drive Angela away from him, getting her to leave him rather than him leaving her. It wasn’t the best option, but there wasn’t much else he could do. Whenever he saw her, he acted as rude as possible, as mean as possible, anything that could drive her away…and eventually, it did. After a few weeks, she fled, calling the wedding off. His parents were distraught, but they broke ties with the Burke family all together, so his parents never found out the real reason why she left him. And he remained single for seven years, occasionally dating but nothing ever too serious. He just continued working, gaining prestige and attention in the Ministry because he was so young, yet he was doing so well. He joined many organizations and made it his business to know everything that was going on in the Wizarding Community. He was promoted multiple times and soon, the 25 year old was the Senior Undersecretary to the Minister of Magic.
And then one day, an interesting new Secretary began her work at the front desk of the Ministry. Pretty, too. Young. Probably just out of Hogwarts. She looked a little familiar to Michael, but he couldn’t seem to pinpoint why. He couldn’t resist, though; he asked her on a date. Her reply, unfortunately, was no. He asked why, and she informed him that she was the little sister of Angela. Margaret. No wonder he recognized her! Their families had known each other so well for such a long time. Michael nearly crapped his pants, though. He asked how Angela was, and Maggie informed him that she was doing well. Traveling. Married, with young kids. She was happy. He and Maggie continued talking, catching up. He found her to be charming and kind, and he figured she felt the same way because of the way she kept on smiling. Of course, he wasn’t going to ask her on a date only an hour or two after she denied him, but after a few days, he figured it would be allright.
She said yes.
After a year, Michael proposed. She happily agreed, and the two were married six months later. The wedding was lavish, just like the one to Angela was supposed to be. They settled down in a big mansion in the countryside of England. Their first daughter was named Victoria Diane, then Charles Alexander two years younger than her, and finally Catherine Lydia five years after Tori was born. Coming from such wealthy families on either side, plus their parents both working at the Ministry, they got literally everything they asked for. For example, every little girl’s dream: a horse. One night after Michael got home from work, seven year old Tori asked for a horse. The next day, he took his lunch break to go with Tori to buy her a filly. They also hired a trainer, bought all the equipment, and constructed a barn. Both her parents purebloods, Tori learned from an early age that her blood type was the best blood status, that mudbloods hardly deserved to exist, and that Muggles were incapable idiots.
The Macmillan’s have a strong family bond, and even though they fight and disagree, they all know that they’ll always be there for each other. Michael and Tori are still in love after many years of marriage, the kids all get along [generally] and they’re very open about what’s going on in their lives. Tori cares very much for her younger siblings, particularly Charlie. She and him have always had a strong bond – they both have very similar interests, but very different personalities. Tori and Kitty are somewhat close, but they fight more often than never. This is probably because Catherine is the spitting image of Tori only five years younger. She honestly doesn’t want her little sister to grow up like her. Tori and her mother have a great relationship; Margaret taught Tori everything she knows about boys, makeup, hair, fashion, and life in general. They joke around constantly, they go shopping together. It’s possible that they have such a strong bond because Margaret was only 19 when she had her first daughter, so she can still remember easily what it was like to be a teenager at Hogwarts. No matter what happens between them, they know they’ll always be there for one another.
