{ A B O U T . T H E . C H A R A C T E R } Name: Kasey Korin Age: 14 Gender: Female Year: Fourth Face Claim: Mollee Gray
Canon or Original? Original
Facial Properties: Kasey was born bald; not an inch of hair touched her skin. It might of course have just been see through, but no one will truly know. Her hair didn’t start to appear until after about three days. Her parents were anxious to see which hair color she inherited, it was split half and half. Would she get her father’s natural blonde look? Or would she sport the natural chestnut roots that her mother’s genetics held. Joseph won the bet, he teased Kasey’s mother for hours about it. His baby girl would be a blonde, just like him. And a blonde she was. When she turned one on her first birthday, she had a light layer of blonde hair on her head. She smiled, her parents smiled, they were proud of their genetics. As Kasey grew older, her hair became bouncy and curly and full of life. At just age two, she had curls that stretched down her cheeks to the bottom of her ears. When she laughed her whole face lit up, she had a hair cut that highlighted her smile. Her hair out grew that though, and by age four she had a full head of hair. Her blonde waves ran down her back until right beneath her shoulder blade. Joseph and Kerry decided to cut her hair at that point and brought it back up to the top of her shoulders. It was pretty darn cute and luckily for her parents, Kasey’s hair didn’t grow too fast. As the years went on and Kasey grew older, she began deciding how she wanted to cut her hair. At age ten, she decided she wanted it back up to her ears; that was a big mistake, she liked her long hair. She never truly forgave herself, but when her hair grew back out she had her hair cutter layer her hair so more curls would show. She simply missed her wavy hair when it was cropped beneath her ears. When she reached her teenage years, the temptation of totally fucking with her hair became an option, Kerry and Joseph told her not to, but the temptation was almost too much for the poor peer pressured teen. Kerry wouldn’t stand it though, she reached in the drawer and pulled out a picture of when Kasey had short hair and watched the fear do magic. Kasey was scared to death of messing with her hair and left it natural and curly. At age fourteen her hair reaches her breasts and is wavy just like Kasey likes it. Her hair is a very light blonde and she loves it, she has no plans on dying it.
Whatever happened to the rainbow that lit up her face? Kasey has been given eyes of pure green. A color that moves off her personality, she could the mirror looking at herself for hours. Her eyes just mystify her like that. She wants to be herself, and currently wondering what exactly that is holds her back. She doesn’t want to wear too much make up, she doesn’t want to take away from her natural look, she wants to wear just enough make up to help amplify her features. Her green-teal eyes shine when she wears a light layer of eye liner and use mascara on her lashes. It might be simple, but it helps keep her from hiding behind someone she’s not. Her features appear on her face and she wants to welcome them, not turn them into something they’re not and walk around with a mask like feeling to herself. She doesn’t want to hide; she wants to show her bubbly round face, round red lips and teal green eyes. She wants to laugh with her white teeth instead of fake, deep, black eye liner that is around her eyes. She went through that fase, here and there she will never make that mistake again. She grew into herself, and now that she’s back at Hogwarts, she’s ready to be herself.
Physique: Kasey has been an athletic girl since a very young age. She is 5’4 at the age of fourteen, but her bones are still growing. She is currently muscular and skinny, participating in sports keeps her body strong and lean. Her frame is tiny, she doesn’t have much hips or curves on her, but her belly is flat and she doesn’t have to worry about gaining much weight. Her metabolism is great and she keeps her body healthy. At Hogwarts she doesn’t get much exercise, she keeps to her books when she is at school. Her body stays skinny, but getting her strength back up in the summer is always a challenge. After Kasey's first year of Hogwarts, she took up rock climbing with her older brother Brandon in the hot summer months of July. They worked at it for hours and since Brandon was almost a certified outdoor leader, he felt right at home teaching his younger sister the ropes and tricks of rock climbing. The strength this required brought more muscles to Kasey's frail body. Since she only started puberty when she began, her body was changing as much as her personality. Her body grew larger of course, her thigh and calf muscles developed evenly. (At first they were a little uneven, but after a few years, they turned into very cute curves.) Her arms were skinny, but after just a few days of rock climbing, she got better and her arm muscles grew. Her breathing was fine too, it was a great exercise all round. They have rock climbed ever since. Her height doesn’t bother her really, she works out her skills in other ways; she’s speedy quick for one, always however, in the shadow of her older brother Brandon, but never once has she not been able to keep his pace. She runs hard, and when a challenge is set before her, she sets out to pursue the goal. Besides her speed, her other physical skills include her jump, quick reflexes, and punch. Kasey can jump higher than most girls. It’s all in the technique though; she never would have known she has a skill unless soccer had helped her develop it. Going in for her headers, she’s had to get a spring into her body. Jumping is helpful in any sort of situation, from jumping onto a ledge to sit on or jumping into a tree for fun, Kasey uses her skill anywhere. Her quick reflexes work magic when it comes to duels and casting spells. She’s a quick thinker, but maybe not that the best for calling the shots. Being bi polar and having no control over her anger makes it hard for her to use her magic responsibly; when she is mad, nothing can stop her from casting a spell on you while she retreats in anger. She’ll usually try not to use her wand, but if she has it in her hand and someone seriously ticks her off; there is nothing that can stop her. Another thing she has and needs to work on his her ability to punch. Yes, she will punch you, and damn does it hurt. Her flaws sometimes shine through her abilities, it’s clear that Kasey needs to work on her temper.
Wand Type: Maple and unicorn tail. Nine inches. It’s interesting that the wand chooses it’s wizard. Kasey remembers going into Diagon Alley for her first time. The world in which wizards lived in was both exciting and surprising. Kasey loved every second of it. It didn’t take her long to find Ollivander’s wand shop. The sign read, “Makers of Fine Wands since 382 B.C.” Kasey nearly squealed in delight as she entered the store. Mr. Ollivander quickly came to service and helped Kasey find her perfect wand. It only took two tries; he tried a wand that was of nine-and-a-half inches of Beechwood and phoenix feather. Kasey held it in her hand and looked at it curiously, was something supposed to happen? Mr. Ollivander snatched it back muttering, “No, no… that won’t do.” In a moment he held another wand, it was Kasey’s wand. She reached her hands out to touch it, and at once she felt at peace. Mr. Ollivander smiled, Kasey did as well. She had found her very own wand. Wand Expertise: Being raised a muggle, Kasey had no idea about anything that had to do with magic. Her first years of Hogwarts were interesting, she got aquainted with all the ways of magic and she explored her wand trying to find out what she excelled at. Her grades were all equal, she wasn’t a super star at anything, but then again she wasn’t failing either, she was merely right in the middle. Frustrated, she couldn’t tell anyone what her favorite subject was or anything. She simply didn’t know. It was then one fateful day in charms that she found her place in the magical world. The class was working at the spell, Wingardium Leviosa. Kasey knew the instructions, get the feather to rise above her head. She was determined to complete the challenge, concentrating hard, she began reciting the spell. It took a few tries, but before anyone else in the class, Kasey got her feather to rise high into the air. Her excitement rose around the classroom and the other students watched in jealousy. Kasey had found her place, she excelled in charms. Patronus: A charming Arabian Mare. Kasey’s patronus takes the form of a power horse that loves to run and feel the air on her back. Kasey loves to watch it, she feels such a joy whenever she sees her friend; the horse is always wanting to play. Just like her patronus, Kasey is free spirited and always bright with life. Her horse is a joy to watch, but on the inside she is mistrusting and fierce. Again, Kasey follows her patronus’s personality. She’s a joy to watch, but a mystery to understand. Boggart: Kasey’s greatest fear is water. When she was only a young girl, her parents took her and her brothers on a fateful boat ride. Kasey has never been the same again. She was nervous upon entering the boat, it looked too small for the family and guide and she didn’t want to risk her life. But her parents and brothers coaxed her to get into the wooden frame. So Kasey followed orders and uneasily sat between her mother and oldest brother Brandon. They began the journey and so far it was nothing too special. Kasey didn’t like it much, but it wasn’t all that terrible, she would be able to bare it until they made it back to land. It wasn’t long into their journey that there seemed to be no going back. Kasey screamed, the waves became too big for comfort, and the tiny boat was smashed against the water. She held on for dear life, screaming every moment of the ride home. Her whole family was shaking with fear, land was nowhere in sight, the waves just reached higher and higher. After nearly an hour of pure fear, Kasey was on land again. She turned back to the ocean and watched it in fear. Joseph picked up his daughter and carried her away, at age five she was already terrified for life. Personality:
{ J O Y F U L }
From an early age, Kasey was in love with life. She has a smile that lights up a room. Everyone: her family, friends, and even strangers bath in her joy. Her immediate family showed her a world she could love, and she loves it right back. Her eyes and ears are open to almost everything, and when she makes a mistake, she pulls herself up and laughs. To a stranger, she is a joy to watch, she is giggly and easily amused. She loves to make jokes and be silly. To her close friends or even to something she has never met, she’ll laugh and open herself up completely. Other kids find her easy to approach and equally easy to get along with. Kasey likes to meet new people, especially kids that she can befriend and laugh at a joke with. She gets along with professors and adults of course, but she relates more to kids. She is still a kid after all, just barely entering her teenage years. Her personality reflects on everything about her, but mostly, she gets her joy in life from her family. Joseph Korin is always joking and being just a goof about nearly everything. Kasey grew up with this and learned his ways. Together, they are a pair that can sometimes be a bit too much to handle. But opposites always connect. Kasey is no exception. Her bubbly appearance can disappear in seconds. This girl is easily offended; she’ll get upset over the silliest of things. Kids sometimes are fed up with this. Kasey doesn’t mean to be a bitch; she usually always regrets what she says when she is in one of her snits, she doesn’t even mean what she says half the time. It just comes up and she can’t help it. She’s angry; she can never control what comes out of her mouth. When someone upsets her, there is no going back. She could be in The Great Hall enjoying a peaceful meal when someone disturbs her, she’ll snap, she’ll bristle, there is nothing that will stop her. Kasey will feel bad of course, but sometimes even an apology doesn’t make up for what she says. A friend of hers said she overreacted too much, another friend called her psycho; Kasey’s heart sinks when she hears these harsh comments. She doesn’t want to be like this, she just makes connections from one event to another, and feelings get mixed, it’s been like this ever since her beloved Charlie died.
A whole world is out there, and Kasey is just waiting to see it. Being raised a muggle gave Kasey a whole new perspective to everything in the magical world. She notices how judged she is and all the discrimination she gets from the Slytherins, but it doesn’t bother her. Sure, she won’t be her normal, cheerful self to someone who judges her, but she won’t go and sulk about the whole thing either. She’s strong because she has inner strength that her parent’s blood has given her. Her attitude on life is always changing, her mind just clicks like that, but her attitude is never cold. She is not the type to sulk on the past. Kasey’s one to go, to get up and make things happen. If she has a crush, she won’t be sulking on the fact her last boyfriend didn’t work, she’ll be getting her new crush to fall for her. Ever since Charlie died, she has been one to never take things for granite. However, Kasey will always have her days. She will always have her moments where she can’t handle the fact her best friend/brother died to brain cancer. She’ll never get over it. She’ll always miss him bitterly. Oh Kasey. Her flaws always shine. She’s not afraid to speak her mind, good or bad, that is up to you. If you annoy her, she will tell you, she won’t hold back and she’ll make you feel pretty crappy about yourself. The poor girl doesn’t know that she’s being so hurtful, in the moment she hurts you, she is just angry and can’t help herself from lashing, but words always hurt no matter what. Kasey accepts the consequences. She has lost acquaintances, but her true friends deal with her personality, they understand that is just who she is, and they love her. “A true friend knows everything about you, and still likes you.” Kasey keeps her friends close, she doesn’t like them to stray, she doesn’t like being mean to them, but sometimes she can’t hold it in. Respect goes a long way though, for a friend she truly admires, she will hold her tongue. Kasey is not sure if this particular trait is out of fear or respect itself, maybe a little of both? Ever since she was a little girl Kasey has been jealous of someone. It’s been in her blood since the moment she heard her older brother Charlie play the piano, or watch her dad climb mountains. She has always wanted something she doesn’t have. When Brandon, her oldest sibling, struck up rock climbing, Kasey was following in his footsteps trying to be the best. Brandon succeeded of course; Kasey fell back in his tracks. Her jealousy problems of course followed her into her Hogwart years; it’s not exactly something you grow out of. Her first crush, she’ll never forget him. Aiden Donnelly, he was a third year Gryffindor when she first laid eyes on him. She was only eleven; such a silly girl she was. He never even knew her name though; to him she was probably a dumb first year. What made things worse for the poor girl was that he was always with that Alessandra De Luca girl. Kasey felt a familiar burning sensation in the pit of her stomach and she felt the tears well in her eyes. Her friends stood by her though; they helped her forget about him.
Likes: + Animals { Kasey loves her pets equally. She especially loves her dogs Rya and Aro. She takes them everywhere every chance she gets. Her horse Faline is more of her mother’s life, but Kerry is always willing to give her eager daughter a lesson. The house cat is more of a family pet. Everyone loves little Maggie equally. Kasey loves all animals but she especially loves dogs. When she is away from Rya and Aro and Hogwarts, she tends to be hanging out with the owls. She has one owl, his name is Fox. } + Fiction Books { Kasey loves to be able to escape reality. True, she loves to learn, but sometimes she just loves to be able to believe that anything is possible. } + Food { This girl is in heaven at Hogwarts, the best food in the world is served there (or at so it seems) Kasey is content at mealtime at school. Her favorite foods include noodles, bread, and pears. } + Friends { Kasey loves to talk, she loves to chat, and of course loves to have people to confide to. She loves all her friends and she makes friends easily. They say she’s a joy to be around. } + Outdoors { Her older brother and her have always been racing up mountains trying to beat each other at rock climbing. Kasey might find it a game, but she never once takes the outdoors for granite. She loves the world she lives in, and she loves exploring the woods. The forbidden woods just beg her to enter… } + Sports { Kasey has been a soccer player since birth, it’s in her blood and damn is she good at it. She’s never tried Quidditch, but maybe this will be the year. } + Mountains { All of them. Being raised in Colorado, she has grown up next to them. She snowboards over the holidays with her family. Colorado is like heaven for a ski oriented family like them. } + Rain { Favorite thing in the world. } + Snow { Who could hate snow? It’s a wonderful thing and Kasey will always great the first of the season with joy. } + Boys {She’s a girl. Does it need much explaining? } Dislikes: – Confusion { Kasey really does not like to ponder on something she really doesn’t understand. It makes her head hurt and makes her unhappy. } – Boat rides { Ever since she was a little girl.. that horrible storm in that tiny boat } – River rafting {Not so fun for Kasey. It scares her more than anything. } – Oceans { Kasey sees it as death. But strangely enough, the coast is one of her favorite places in the world. She could run on the sand for hours and feel completely at peace with herself. The body of water the ocean controls is feared by Kasey, but the coast in which the waves crash is one of Kasey’s favorite places. } – Bananas { Not too found with this fruit } – Overly preppy girls { Drama. Drama. Drama. Is that all they come up with? Yuck. } – Mean teachers and people in general { Kasey doesn’t like them. } – Junk Food { Not Kasey’s favorite, she likes her slim figure } – Pain { She is a baby. She cries when she feels pain and therefore she is embarrassed. Emotionally or physically pain is something that scares her. Injuries are never fun for her, and painful fights or mental confusion makes her very upset. } – Spiders { She has a terrible fear of spiders. They are gross to her and she screams like a freak when she sees them. It is a fear almost as bad as water. }
History: Beginning at the hospital when Kasey first entered the muggle world, she had two older brothers. The oldest, 15 at the time, was Kasey’s half brother Brandon. A long story told Brandon’s roots to his family, for Kasey’s parents, Joseph and Kerry, had been in love since their teenage years. Kerry was younger than Joseph by two years; exactly. They shared a birthday, September 19th. The story of Brandon happened when Joseph and Kerry began fighting. It wasn’t a big deal, they were still in love. But as the months turned into a year, they began to wonder if they were ready to spend the rest of their life together. Kerry backed out first. She was scared; she didn’t want to ruin something so great by pressuring it to work. She moved out of Joseph’s apartment and went to settle on her career. Joseph was lost without her. He tried to work as well. He was a business man, so the long hours kept him busy, but every spare moment he had, he thought of Kerry. He was losing his grip on things, he didn’t know what to do. Kerry wouldn’t talk to him much, she kept a very strict relationship between them. She had very big ideas of what she wanted in her life, and at this particular moment, she wanted a substantial career. Joseph began to drift, his long hard hours at work began to get the best of him. On one cold winter night, Joseph went to a bar downtown. He met up with some work buddies of his, a middle aged man named Michael. A young women; about Joseph’s age, her name was Julia, and her brother Ryan. Joseph had a few drinks, they played pool, and they talked about random things that no one can remember, heck, they were drunk. Julia was very flirtatious that night, Joseph couldn’t even contain himself, he was a lonely young bachelor and she was basically begging for him to go after her. For the first time in a month, Joseph wasn’t thinking about Kerry, he wasn’t thinking at all actually. It wasn’t long after that night when Joseph got a call telling him about how he was going to be a father.
Brandon. Joseph’s son was Brandon. Julia and Joseph didn’t work out, they didn’t even try. Joseph was there for the baby though, he was a good father. And when Julia gave birth, she handed her baby to Joseph without another word. She was done with him. Joseph watched Julia flee the city in shock. He now had a motherless newborn baby in his arms. But when he looked down into his little brown eyes, Joseph knew what had to happen. So he called Kerry and explained everything. She was there for him in a heartbeat and together they raised Brandon. Brandon knew Kerry as his mother and he never questioned about Julia. At his current age he could piece together what happened that night at the bar, and he’d rather not talk about sex with his father.
Charlie didn’t have such a thrilling beginning. His thrills started when he learned to walk. Charlie was Kerry’s first child. The pain she felt in childbirth made her forever tolerable of pain, it also brought out a sweet and tender side of Kerry which Joseph loved to see. Watching another mother abandon his child would break his heart. However Julia was never the love of Joseph’s life. He had never had more feelings than friendship with her. Kerry was different; he loved her more than words could explain. It was the first time they made something work, Charlie connected the puzzle. He was such a little fun boy to watch too. At age 7, he was ready to go off into the world and explore everything. Joseph was proud, he brought both Brandon and Charlie up to believe in sports and chase their sports dreams. Kerry rolled her eyes but supported them all the way. Charlie and Brandon were both unbelievable athletes. Brandon stared on his high school varsity soccer team freshmen year. Charlie wasn’t as capable as his older half brother, but he wasn’t even that interested in sports. His life was music. He played piano and dreamed of making it to stardom. Kerry helped Charlie along his journey and paid for his lessons without remorse. Life was perfect it seemed.
It was a cold December day when their lives changed forever. The heavy snow in Colorado was pounding down on their house, Joseph and Kerry would never forget that fateful winter morning. Charlie awoke at about 5 AM, his heart was racing and he screamed for help. His parents rushed to him, when they reached on his room and turned on his light, it already seemed too late. Charlie was seizing. Joseph called 9-1-1. When the ambulance arrived, Kerry and Joseph didn’t know what to think. They didn’t know what was going to happen to their little boy. The family immediately packed their bags and went to the hospital; Brandon was only 12 at the time, he didn’t quite understand what was happening to his brother. He could just look at his worried parent’s faces and the doctors he seemed to only bring worse news. After 48 hours, Charlie was under control, the doctors told Kerry and Joseph that he had serious brain damage. It wasn’t anyone’s fault; he was just born like that. Kerry burst into tears. The doctor began telling them about how Charlie wasn’t an ordinary boy. He was going to need medical attention for the rest of his life. He wasn’t going to be able to live like an average boy or girl.
It was only three years later when Kerry gave birth to Kasey. She seemed to be the final touch to the family. Joseph and Kerry were excited for their first daughter and Brandon and Charlie seemed to be excited to have a new sister. She grew up in a loved environment, the attention wasn’t all for her, Charlie needed a lot of medical attention and carried most of their parents attention, but Brandon would always look out for her. With a few exceptions, the Korin’s seemed to live a relatively normal life, or at least attempted to. Kasey grew up into a young girl who loved to play. One of her favorite things to do was play with her first dog Rocky. He was a shepherd mix and gave her joy that no human could give her. He made her laugh and squeal in joy every time he appeared to play. Kerry would often find her daughter asleep basically on top of Rocky. Joseph always joked she was going to kill the poor dog. But everyone has their time. Rocky died of old age at thirteen years old, Kasey was four.
Charlie and Brandon were a big part of Kasey's life. They were always very supportive of her. Kasey was always intrigued by Charlie's ability to play piano, she would sit next to him on the piano bench and listen to him playing for hours. It was one of her favorite hobbies. During the middle of a spring night, Kasey found herself awake and didn't know what to do. She wasn't exactly tired, so she got up and bounced eagerly down the stairs of her house. When she entered the living room, she slid onto the piano bench and began playing her favorite song, Hot Cross Buns. The only song she knew by heart. It was only a few moments before an annoyed Joseph stomped down the stairs, picked his daughter up and walked back up the stairs to put her back in bed.
She was a very eager girl. She wanted to explore new things. After that moment, Charlie felt reluctant to teach Kasey songs, so Kasey had to cope with her own brain. She took one of Charlie's piano books and ran upstairs to her room. Her body was heated and an angry puff escaped her mouth every three seconds. And than it happened. She turned the piano book into a piece of cake. Kasey jumped nearly two feet in the air. She didn't make noise, she was too shocked for that, but the thump she made in the house would intrigue her family members. Quickly, she ate the piece of cake and began playing with her toys. She didn't know what the hell had just happened, and she didn't tell anyone about it.
With most of the attention on Charlie, no one seemed to notice that young Kasey could do extraordinary things. Even Brandon never once noticed that Kasey could make things explode, or change her toys into other things. She was just a girl full of life, and she thought she was normal. On her tenth birthday, the letter from Hogwarts reached the Korin’s. Kerry nearly had a heart attack when she read it, Joseph couldn’t believe it. Kasey however, jumped for joy and felt her life just got a million times better.
Her first few years at Hogwarts were wonderful. After the shock of everything, her parents turned around and were very supportive of their youngest child, they were even excited to have a witch in their family. On April 28th, her first birthday at Hogwarts, Kerry and Joseph sent Kasey her very own Owl. They’ve been together ever since. It was like everything was falling into place. At school, Kasey felt at home, she learned everything she dreamed to know, she met new friends and new people every day. She was very excited for the years to come. It was the summer between her second and third year when Kasey’s life turned upside down. Charlie passed away after a long battle of Brain Cancer. Kasey couldn’t bare it; she couldn’t imagine life without her older brother teasing her along the way. Her brave older brother was gone. His magical gift of piano was lost forever. That summer was when she changed forever, her mind began to trigger unusual mood swings and she developed a nasty bi polar personality. Her life at Hogwarts changed, and her friends were noticing. No one knew the true story though. No one knew what had happened to Kasey’s family.
Sample Post: The morning sunlight broke through Kasey’s dormitory’s window. She squinted her eyes and rolled over onto the other side of her bed, she didn’t want to get up just yet. A large thump landed on Kasey’s side. She felt the talons side gently into her body. “No Aro.” She told him grumpily. Aro never listened to her anyway, so why was she not surprised when she felt the familiar ticking sensation on her neck. The fourteen year old jumped out of bed. “Alright, you win.” She announced annoyed. She fed her owl his cracker and sent him back out the window. Turning back around, she quickly put on her ropes and dressed for breakfast. She stuffed her books and Quill Tips into her bag and ran down to The Great Hall. As her eyes searched for her friends, she noticed how packed the place was. She must be part of the norm of people here, all wanting breakfast at the same time. She moved quickly down one of the aisles searching along her House’s long table. She spotted them after a moment of searching and quickly joined them. “What’s up guys?” She greeted them warmly. They looked at her cautiously; she returned their looks with confusion. “Uh… did I do something wrong?” She bit her lip. She could only guess what happened. She probably lashed at them when they were least expecting it. Kasey just wished they’d understand, or at least pretend to understand. She was tired of the constant judgment.
As her breakfast grew more awkward, Kasey let out an annoyed noise and pulled herself from the table. She grabbed one last roll and then stalked back outside of The Great Hall. She took a bite of her roll. Why were her friends so freaking judgmental? She wasn’t even that mean to them! Sure, she’d bite their heads off, or comment rudely, but she could do a lot worse. Her friends shouldn’t just give up on her like that. Her brother had died, he was gone. She was a muggle; she had so much to prove. She couldn’t do it all.
She ran from the castle. She had a lot of time before class and she needed to think. She found a tiny willow tree and sat down next to it. Her heart was racing and she couldn’t control it. Tears burned in her eyes as she thought of her lost brother. As she sat there, she heard a familiar hooting and looked just in time to see Aro dropping a letter to her. She caught it and looked at it eagerly. It was from her parents. She had taught them how to use Owl Post from the moment they gave her the money to go purchase Aro. She smiled slightly as she began reading the letter.
Dear Kasey, How are you dear? I miss you so much… Joseph and Brandon do too. Scout is going crazy without you but she’s staying sane from how many walks I take her on. I hope you’re having fun learning all about witchcraft and wizardry. I hope you know we love you, and I know Charlie does too. He supported you from the beginning. I’ll see you home for Christmas, right? Mhmm.. well write back and tell me! Love, Mom
Kasey smiled softly before folding up the letter and putting it safely in her pocket. After a few silent moments, she got up and headed off to class.
