About the Character- -
Name: Skarlotte Amelie Sophia Stryker (Sass) Age: Sixteen Gender: Female Year: Fifth Face Claim: Kat Von D
Canon or Original? Original
Facial Properties: Skarlotte has piercing, dark brown seductive eyes. Her makeup is always heavy, and she never goes without it, with dark undertones and deep eye shadow colors. Her eyelashes are small and straight, no matter how much mascara she puts on, so she has to resort to fake eyelashes. By her left eye, Skarlotte has over fifteen tiny tattooed stars, forming a crescent moon shape by her eye. She has often said that it would make boys stare off into space when they looked at her. She has cheekbones, but they don’t stick out. You can see them, but they don’t overtake her face. She had always liked her nose, but she still thinks it’s a little too big for her face. Her friends always tell her that it’s the perfect size for her face shape. She has luscious, plump lips for a white girl, and her teeth are pearly white and straight. She always carries a tube of lipstick on her person, and it is always factored into her wardrobe choice for that day. Her long, dark hair flows down past her chest, and the style is never the same two days in a row. Her ears are normal sized, and usually accompanied by large hoops. Other than that, though, she doesn’t wear earrings.
Physique: Skarlotte’s neck is long, with a small rosebush tattoo on the right side. She has normal shoulders, and her long arms have tattoo from the tops of her arms to the tips of her fingers. Her wrists are small. Her hands are a little big, but still a good size for her body. Her back is small, with just as many tattoos on it as her arms. Her chest is decent sized, making it easy for her to get whatever guy she wants. Her torso is long, and her stomach is flat, with just as much ink as the back. Her butt is small, but it still allows her to attract the opposite sex without a problem. Her legs are long and slender, also inked up and down her legs, and her feet are small and always cold.
Personality:
Skarlotte automatically doesn’t like people because of her father’s death. But she only doesn’t like them when she doesn’t know them. She doesn’t care if people like her either. Because the only person that she wanted to impress was her father. Usually, first impressions are really important to her, and because of the way she looks, people don’t give her an accurate first impression. The only way she has friends is when others force her to mingle with her peers. Once she gets to know them, she usually likes them, but at first glance, and the first time she talks to them, she usually hates them. It’s nothing personal; it’s just the way she is. She’s not judgmental, because she doesn’t really have a right to be, it’s just her first impression of everyone isn’t good, no matter how nice they are. She doesn’t judge on the way people look or what kind of background they have, except for Quidditch players and blondes. It’s not a matter of judging; she’s just weird like that. She generally hates people, until they get under her skin.
Sass, in accordance with her nickname, is not one to play by the rules. She always speaks her mind, and doesn’t care who disagrees. She’s very outspoken and obvious about her values and opinions. Along with all of her tattoos, it makes her difficult to approach. In short, Sass is intimidating. One of her biggest problems with making friends is getting past that first impression. Usually, hers is the bad one. She makes fun of the people she doesn’t like, is obvious about the boys she does like, and doesn’t give a rats fart who’s listening. It makes her difficult to talk to, and share common interests. Once people break through her hard, obnoxious shell, she isn’t so bad. But until then, if she doesn’t like you, you’re kind of screwed.
In one word, Sass is rebellious. She’s a big fan of the opposite sex, and she’ll get whoever she wants, because the guys just can’t resist her. Guys love her “I don’t give a shit” attitude, so they know there’s no attachments when they get together with her. Her tattoos are appealing to guys, so it definitely helps when she’s trying to get a guy into bed with her. She hates school, because of all the rules and regulations, but she’d rather deal with those than her family at home. She does whatever she can to irritate her mother, and slacking off on everything school related helps. Except for Potions. Sass has a knack for Potions. She also reads a lot about good jinxes and hexes, which leads to her pulling a lot of jokes on people. It’s a hobby.
As mean as Sass can be, there is a more vulnerable side to her that she rarely shows to anyone. She loves to draw and journal, staying up late into the night to write down everything she’s thinking about. Often, she sneaks off to the Astronomy Tower to clear her head and look at the stars that match the ones by her eye. They’re both so beautiful, and late at night, Sass can almost see her father in the skies, looking down on her and smiling. It’s the only time she ever really feels…normal. After a long time of just sleeping around, Sass thinks she’s really ready for an actual relationship. Someone to comfort her like her father used to. She’s not really sure if she’ll ever find someone to fill the hole her father left, but she sure as hell is going to try.

History:
Purebloods Colin Stryker and Julia Renaldi met when they were just teenagers. Colin was seventeen, and a sixth year, a total stud and Quidditch icon in the Slytherin house. A total bad boy. Every girl wanted him. Julia was fourteen, a fourth year Gryffindor, top singer of the schools choir and an avid listener of contemporary muggle music. They were polar opposites, and fell completely head over heels the minute they laid eyes on each other. Their friends didn’t approve of their love for each other, because they thought they could both do better. But that didn’t stop them, because they knew in their hearts that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. Soon after Julia graduated from Hogwarts, they got married at the ages of twenty-one and nineteen. They lived in Edinburgh, Scotland, where Colin was born, and he wanted to raise his family in the same place he grew up. Julia’s family wasn’t pleased with them getting married, because they would be so far away from Julia’s home town in Rome. After a year of married life, unexpectedly, the newlyweds found out they were going to have a baby boy. On April fifth, Axel Jeremy Stryker was born. Colin was very excited for a boy, because it would give him the chance to pass down his Quidditch skills to the next Stryker boy in the line. Julia was pleased, but couldn’t wait until her baby girl came along, whenever that was going to be.
On October 31st, a baby girl blessed the Stryker household with her glowing form and sweet personality. Skarlotte Amelie Sophia Stryker, or Sass, her father affectionately called her, granted her mother’s wish for a beautiful baby girl. Her two middle names were chosen because of her two grandmothers. The unusual birth date should have given a hint that she was going to be different than what her mother was expecting. Julia pushed her baby girl to be the girly girl she always wanted her to be, but Sass refused. She was just like her father, playing light games of rugby and Quidditch in the backyard every day, getting dirty with Axel and playing in the mud with the neighborhood boys every chance she got, for she was only two. After a while, Julia eventually gave up on the idea of Sass ever wearing a princess dress, and just let her be the tomboy she wanted to be. Julia resented Sass, just a little, for being more like her father and less like her mother, and she often felt left out of everything. After all, Axel was exactly like his father, and now, so was Sass. Julia wanted another baby even more now, hoping and praying it would be a girl. On May first, she got her wish. Leila Mae was born into the world, a bouncing, funny, baby girl. Finally, Julia got what she wanted. Leila was just like her in every way, right down to her hair color.
After just a few short years, it became clear to Sass that her mother didn’t really want anything to do with her anymore. So, she stuck to her father for twelve years. The awkward bonds in their family made living difficult, because Sass was attached to her Daddy, and Leila was obsessed with her Mommy. Axel didn’t really know what was going on, and what’s worse, he didn’t care. When Sass was eleven, she finally got her letter from Hogwarts that she’d been hearing about since she was a baby. Axel had already gotten his, accepted into Gryffindor, just like his mother, and the day she got hers was the proudest moment of her life. She couldn’t wait to be the captain of her house Quidditch team and to get away from her mother and sister, who showed their obvious disdain for her daily. Colin knew that there was tension between his wife and eldest daughter, but he didn’t know how much Julia disapproved of Sass’ boyish behavior. Her first couple of years in Hogwarts were uneventful; she learned a lot in her classes and made a lot of friends. She got to be away from her mother and sister, and Sass got letters from her father every week. Everything was going great. Leila was accepted into Hogwarts soon after, being sorted into Hufflepuff.
The summer before Skarlotte’s fourth year at Hogwarts, the family took their annual five day boating trip through the Water of Leith. After cleaning up their campsite on the shore, everything was going the same as it always had. Usually, on the third day of the trip, they would go hiking, but Axel wanted to switch it up and go fishing. The family agreed and boarded their boat, heading out into open water. The boat started to move faster and faster, picking up speed, and Sass sat on the edge of the boat, soaking up the sun, watching the fish swim behind her. Axel started picking on Leila, and before anyone could stop them, they were yelling at each other, and Leila stood up to punch her brother, but then the boat hit a big wave, and within seconds, Leila was in the water. It all happened so fast. One second, Sass was looking at the face of her father, scared for his daughter’s life, and the next, he was overboard, trying desperately to push his youngest daughter out of the way of the rutters, moving the fastest they had the entire vacation. Sass sprung to her feet, sprinting to the edge of the boat with Axel and her mother, watching her father push Leila out of the way. They all breathed a sigh of relief, because their sister was safe, and Colin looked up at Sass, smiling with relief as well.
That was the last time Skarlotte ever saw her father’s smiling face.
His shirt got caught in one of the rutters while he swam back to the ladder on the side of the boat, and before Sass could even scream, or tell her mother to stop the boat, her father was already dead, taken by the boat he tried to save his daughter from. Sass screamed her head off, tears falling down her face. She jumped into the water, Axel diving in after her, pulling her away from her father’s remains. Everyone was crying, but Skarlotte…she had lost it. She began punching her brother several times, because it was his fault they were on the boat. They were supposed to be hiking; they weren’t supposed to be on the water today. It was his entire fault. She climbed back into the boat, reaching for her younger sister, screaming at her at the top of her lungs. If she wouldn’t have been screwing around, this never would have happened. The police were called, and the body was removed. Skarlotte spent the next few days shut up in her room, refusing to eat, refusing to talk to anyone, refusing to sleep. She burned all of her Quidditch things; never again was she going to play that stupid game. It reminded her too much of him. Sass began to detach herself from her family, swearing to herself she would never again speak to the people who were responsible for taking away the one man who really loved her.
It was only a couple of weeks before Sass started to sneak out of her house. The first tattoo she ever got were the stars on her face, reminding her that her father was looking down at her from the sky, always watching her. All the rest of them afterwards were just tools in her eventual goal to become numb of everything. Sass decided that the pain of tattoos was easier to bear than the pain of losing her father. She started to sleep around as well, because it didn’t matter anymore to her. There was no one left in her life to make proud. Her father was gone, and no one else’s opinion mattered. Basically, Sass just stopped caring about everything. Her father was no longer there to pull her into his arms and tell her everything was going to be okay. Nothing else mattered.
Sample Post:
Late on a Tuesday night Skarlotte headed to the Astronomy Tower to clear her head and to write in her journal on her tedious day. She was not happy to be walking up the dreadful stairs, for she was already tried from the long day she had, but she knew that it was all worth it to stare at the stars that reminded her of her father. Finally, she opened the door and stepped out to the balcony. The smell of the air relaxed her. Sitting down on the ground, she dipped her pen in the ink and in neat cursive handwriting she began to write. Today was dreadful as usual. I’m sick of people asking about my tattoos… why do you have them? … did it hurt?. I’ve been at this stupid school for how many years why cant people just get over it? Sass took a second from writing and looked at the stars. She loved it up there. She often caught herself talking to the sky like she was talking to her dad. She missed him so much, and wished he was still alive.
Her only true wish, other than her dad being still alive, was the feeling of getting a letter from him every week. Those letters were the best; they were full of love and warmth, and no matter what he would always love her. Man, she missed those letters so much she began to talk to the sky."Hey dad, what is up in your neck of the woods? I’m so sick of people. I wish I could escape to where ever you are…" A tear began to roll down her soft cheek; it fell off her chin on to the parchment of paper. The tear smudged the writing on the paper, but she didn’t care. All she could think about was her dad. She closed her journal, and tied the purple ribbon in a bow to secure the book from opening. She walked across the balcony to the door, and looked behind her to get one last glimpse of the sky before she went to bed.
It was morning now, the worst part of the day for Sass. The sun was shining right in her eyes; she pulled the covers over her head hoping no one would recognize that she was still sleeping and that they would leave her alone. But, instead of her sleeping all day like she wanted to the exact opposite happened. Quickly, the covers were ripped from on top of her to the floor. The Prefect of her house was in her face telling her she needed to get up so Sass wasn’t late for class. She HATED the Prefects; they were like little spy’s when the teachers weren’t looking. Also, why was it so special for them to get their own bathroom? It was like their secret meeting spot… weird place for secret meeting shot. Don’t people do their business in there? Sass didn’t get it, but also, she didn’t care. She gave the Prefect a dirty look and rolled out of bed. She quickly got her clothes on and fed her cat Oliver then headed out the door.
Skarlotte was on her way to her first class, Defense Against the Dark Arts. She hated that class but it wasn’t because she thought that it was a useless class like all the others, except Potions, but it was because it was so early in the morning and she usually fell asleep. Walking through the halls she quickly glanced at the clouds when something caught her eye. She stopped and stared at the cloud intensely; it was like she was looking right at him in person. The cloud that looked like her father had the same smile as his and the eyes were just like his. She quickly looked around to see if any one was setting a spell or something to make it look like her father, but she didn’t think there was one so she started to stare back at the cloud. Suddenly, one of the 3rd years ran into her. “Watch where you’re going,” Sass said in a mean and snappy tone. The boy stared into her dark piercing eyes. “What are you looking at? Move!” Sass said. The boy moved and started picking up his books that fell on the floor. Now, Sass was very irritated. She wondered how bad this day could really get, and she was not looking forward to it.
