Mon cher journal,
Eeeee!! Homygosh, school is officially out and Juliette Benoit is officially on the prowl for a summer fling! Bahahaha, not really, but I couldn't help but make you think I was. (; Anyway, what I've really been up to is shopping, shopping, shopping, and more shopping! Got a whole ton of great deals from all the summer sales and boy, my wardrobe has never looked better. I can't wait to wear everything! I've already picked out the dress I'm wearing to Alessa's party, but Kiki's party has left me a bit stumped. It's got to be something impressive because I'm her personal stylist, but then again, nothing too flashy, right? Don't want to look ridiculous. I was thinking I would go with a black dress, because that always looks really professional and yet sexy at the same time. But do you think it would be weird to have no color? Hmm. No, you know what, I can accessorize like the rainbow, and then I'll be satisfied with the result. And, hopefully, all the hot boys at the party will be satisfied with it as well. (; Anyway, time for dinner! I'm completely ravenous!

Mon cher journal,
I think I may have a problem. With jewelry. Well, not necessarily with it, but... with buying it. In excessive amounts. See, Auntie Francoise and I went to the local dealer, and I may have gone a little crazy when I saw all the shiny things reflect off the lights... okay, maybe a lot crazy. As in spent four hours there crazy. As in spent half my shopping budget crazy. So, yeah. Bought three necklaces, two rings, two bracelets, and four pairs of earrings. All sterling silver. All with real gems. But oh, they're so gorgeous and were totally worth it! I bought a few topaz pieces so they'd match my horrid uniform, too! I'm so excited to wear them all! They're so gorgeous and so shiny and sparkly and pretty and eeeee! It makes me so so so happy. (: My wallet does not share in my joy but you know what? That doesn't bother me too much. I just love love love what I bought! Still really exhausted though. Been on my feet for about seven hours, hah. Auntie Francoise is a biiiit hard to wear out, but I on the other hand have my limits. But gosh! I'm trying on all the stuff right now and the rings look so so gorgeous! ...Gah. Okay. I know what you're thinking. I have a serious weakness for jewelry.
It's true.
So shoot me. (;

Mon cher journal,
Feeling tired today. Don't really want to do anything. I dunno. Just writing in here to pass the time. It's raining. Well, that's London. Rains all the time. Everyday, almost. So, I can't go shopping. Can't do anything. But sit here and write in this journal. Met some guy in a coffee shop. He insulted Shakespeare. Yeah. It's raining. Did I already say that? Yeah. Well. It is.

Mon cher journal,
So! Today I bought all the fabric for Alessa's birthday gift dress and eee, I think she's gunna LOVE it! But that's just my humble opinion. (;
Here's a rough sketch of what I have so far:
At the top there's going to be a squarish-diamond cut with rhinestones and sequins outlined in a darker purple than the lavender I'm using for the main body of the dress. And then in the middle it's like a classical drapery type look, with extra folds of fabric hanging a bit loose just to add a pretty Grecian highlight to it. It'll be a bit short too, but tastefully so – it'll go right above her knees. Thank God I took her measurements a while ago so I didn't have to ask now and give away the gift! But yeah, I'm appealing to Alessa's sense of modesty too, and the dip in the front isn't going to be as dramatic as it is in the sketch. Been working on it since earlier this morning, and I've got the frame of it all worked out around the mannequin (who I've named Cerise because she's pinkish red). So far I haven't started sewing it in yet around the seams but I've got it all pinned and ready! Right now I decided to take a break and I think I'm gunna go get some of Auntie Francoise's lemonade downstairs. Then it's back to work for me!
