Alecto was always kind of this girl in a different class than me. She spent all this time in her Hogwarts years with almost solely the pureblood elitists, and we never really talked. After all, I was a wall flower. But during her last few weeks I think she began talking to more people because it was her last chance to; I mean she wouldn't be the first student to do so. During graduation she came and found me just so she could ask for me to be her lookout now that she was out of school, to keep her in touch with what was going on. In other words a spy for all the lastest gossip. Well since I am sort of trying to fit in around here gossip is something I've gotten good at. I spend time with Kiki Valentine, so there should be lots of interesting things coming from her. It doesn't hurt me any to help Alecto out, but I've learned the hard way to never give something for nothing. So really, what's in it for me? Oh yeah, and I'm glad your my friend too, yada yada.

The Carrows are, of course, known in the wizarding world. They are of the pureblood line, and so the Blacks do associate with them. Sometimes, when they behave themselves. I never have thought of them in the same ranks as us but it's respectable to embrace all purebloods. Alecto is strong, I've watched her progress over the past few years and I have been impressed, minus a few setbacks. Dating by enstranged cousin was a blemish but she has reshaped. She has taken a pack with me and many of our friends, and we work together. She's always had a way of getting on my nerves, but I expect no less as she is a good friend of Narcissa's.
