I decided I should just regularly update this dang thing since, you know, people change, lives change, words of meanings change… Yeah all that good stuff. So, I’m breaking this up into little sections about myself and you can just…sit back, grab some popcorn, read, and enjoy. Ha ha.

First and foremost, I need to get something out there: I, Izzle for Shizzle, am addicted to ISS. At first I just though “Hey, whatever – so I like spending time on the computer. Meh. So what?” Well, I’ve come to realize over the *le gasp* year and a half of being a member here that some of my very best friends happen to be from ISS. Even if real life totally sucks butt I can still come on here and feel loved. (: Likewise, if you ever need some cheering up I have lots of luvs to share! It can be totally random, unrelated to ISS in every way, shape, and form but I’ll still totally listen to any rants you’ve got and whatnot. Activities: I love, love, love to write (in case that wasn’t like, obvious, lol) both on here and just on my own. I have a couple “books” but none of them are finished nor are they completely thought out all the way so I don’t know how legit they are. ;P I like to read, too, naturally, and you can see my book list for that. Oh, and my music list: extreme music junkie. That is all you need to know, lmao. And I guess I should warn you: Fall Out Boy, in my humble opinion, is the greatest band ever…! Yes I do realize how controversial this statement is for some of you but do me a favor and leave the FOB-bashing to Alva. =P Let’s see… While I’m not very good at it, I like to draw as well. My specialties are with animals and scenery. Don’t ask me to draw people. It just won’t work. Talk to me for five minutes and you will understand that I have a serious problem with spelling things correctly because I think faster then my fingers can keep up. Some people *ahem* weren’t even sure if English was my native tongue or not. =P Well, as the story goes one day Izzy felt so incredibly picked on she dubbed her own language. For a while it went unnamed. Najooj was my translator because she was fluent in Izzy-speak. Then, she caught the bug and can’t spell anymore, either. We decided to combine out horrible errors together and Joiz was born! We went through a series of name combos and Joiz sounded the coolest…ha ha. And, since we’ve accumulated so many different words now I decided to toss this in my introduction because I feel it’s essential to our friendship that you understand me. XD It will be updated whenever I happen to stumble upon a new word… Which is kind of sort of a lot of the time, lol.
Beykharaf (noun) / 02.18.09 This is actually an Arabic word spelt with English letters. Najooj taught it to me! It means , in very loose, broken English terms, “not making sense anymore.” And, it also so happens to be my computer’s name now. =P (But I call him Bey because I can never remember how to spell Beykharaf, lol.)
Burnsy (noun) / 02.18.09 This is Izzy’s imaginary remote control dragon. Useful against FUSH-haters. He he.
Dorp (noun) / 05.12.09 This is a term of endearment. (And I think a misspelling of “dork”? XD) Point is, if you are called a dorp, take no offense. Ahahaha.
Fobsession 101 (noun) / 02.26.09 This is Izzy’s course of everything Fall Out Boy…! For you poor, poor FOB-deprived people. =P You can learn behind the scenes stuff about the music videos, band member’s birthdays, blog information…oh yeah, the works. ;]
Fush (noun) / 02.18.09 Once upon a time Izzy and Najooj were talking in the cbox and Izzy misspelled “hush” It turned out to be “fush” instead. She corrected herself but said fush should mean something – it looked like a word. She suggested it be a noun of some kind. Then, since she’s crazy like that, said it needed to be FOB related because they both started with F’s. It was voted on by the party of two that fush was to mean Izzy is about to explode with her FOB obsession and that Alva should pay no attention to the follow text until someone said it was safe and FOB-free. Najooj pointed out that it should be a verb then, since it’s possible to be “fushing.” The End. Isn’t that a fabulous story?

Izaly (noun) / 02.18.09 Some background information for you: Verge is from Italy. Okay now that we got that covered. *Ahem* A certain couple of somebody’s were picking on me for always spelling things wrong (as often happens, hence the whole reason for the Joiz Dictionary) and so…! I decided to take Verge to Italy, overthrow the government and rule over Italy. Now, appropriately renamed, Izaly. You’ll notice I go there when I’m feeling particularly outnumbered, stressed, etc. Free passes to visit Izaly are rarely given out.
Izaph (noun) / 07.15.09 This here is Izaph. He’s a giraffe. To which Jake did not get a giraffe and Bella did not give birth to one! *Flails* Inside joke, sorry if you weren’t there for that one. =P And uh, yes, Izaph is a serzy giraffe, haha. He is mine and Seraph’s virtual pet! [: Isn’t he cute? :3
Izzitious (adjective) / 02.18.09 In short, anything and everything you are capable of “catching” from Izzy at any given time during the day. Symptoms include: spelling things incorrectly, interchanging form/from, improper use of grammar, high doses of hyperness, etc.
Neef (adjective) / 02.18.09 This is another word for “cool” or “tight” and so on and so forth. Long, long ago Kelsey and I decided to use it in place of the forbidden word “sweet.” (Sweet: a word used too often by little brothers that annoys Kelsey and Izzy.)
Nerb (noun) / 03.21.09 The name as it suggest (and I quote from Penny): “A noun AND a verb? xD It's ambiguous?” There you have it folks. A nerb is a noun and a verb put together.
Rab-chat (nerb) / 03.21.09 I would hope this is kind of self-explanatory. “Rab” meaning “Rabastan Lestrange” and “chat” meaning “chatting.” You add the two together, and you get “Rab-chat” which is directly translated to “Rabastan Lestrange chatting.” No, this does not imply that Rabastan Lestrange is chatting about himself. I am talking about chatting about Rabastan. XD Lol. So, whenever engaged in discussing Rab just know you are participating in Rab-chat. Learn something new every day, don’t you? =P
Serzy (adjective) / 07.12.09 Well, basically, once upon a time Seraph and Izzy where spamming away in the 100th Page game and…we came up with the word. It means to be sexy in a frenzied way. [; Example: “Ello, my you iz looking serzy today.” Bwahahahaha. xD
Ugglie (noun) / 02.18.09 Welcome everyone, to the wonderful world of Parental Controls! Yes, that’s right! Izzy’s ISS time is dictated by her parent’s time restrictions! Isn’t that wonderful?! (Okay if you can’t hear the sarcasm drooling all over those words there is something wrong with you. No offense.) I do seriously have time limits on the comp, though. I’m kicked off at 1am every night. D: Since I constantly complain about Parental Controls and typing out Parent Controls just takes way too long, I’ve decided to call it Ugglie instead. Because Parental Controls are ugly. I just like spelling it Ugglie instead. XP
Waffles (noun) / 02.18.09 It’s a long story. Basically, waffles is the sex. For reals. XD And since I can’t do the story any justice, I’ve enlisted Kiara’s (unknowing) help, he he:
A bunch of us were in the cbox, having multiple conversations at once. It was right around the time that we were all heavily debating the “abstinence until marriage” idea in that chat board, and a bunch of us were just screwing around in the games boards. We were talking about how cool it was that we were all mature enough to discuss such heavy matters on ISS, and we were also talking about breakfast-for-dinner. Someone said that they couldn’t stand waffles because they have such weird texture, and I was aghast, obviously. So, I’m staunchly defending waffles, and talking about sex to someone at the same time. Alva comes back from posting, and goes, “This is the weirdest conversation I’ve ever walked in on.” I replied: “Alva, it's late, I’m tired…sex and waffles are the only things that make sense to me right now.” It wasn’t until after I had said it that I realized exactly what I had just said. Thus, waffles became the term to use for sex/sexual innuendo. Voila: Sex = Waffles. ;]

Bella is my baby! (And yes, she was named after the Isabella Swan in the Twilight Saga.) She is my first character here and I’ve grown to absolutely love this girl. She’s highly over dramatic, exceptionally emotional, and super stubborn when it comes to the things she wants. In every way she’s an exaggeration of life which makes her really fun for me to play. Out of all the characters I’ve ever played (on ISS and other places) she’s been most easily relatable for me. In short, Bella is me magnified to the nth degree. RPing her for as long as I have now, her history has developed immensely and she’s made lots of friends and enemies and just about everything in-between. I had high hopes for her when starting out, and Bella has definitely risen to the challenge! She’s surpassed what I thought capable in a character and I know her well. You know that your character has really come to life when you’ve gotten to the point when writing posts for them, they begin to argue what they should do, not what you tell them to do.
I know this sounds a little crazy (and I assure you, I am sane) but I literally will have “conversations” with my characters. I can find myself writing a post for Bella and I will get about half way through a sentence when Bella will snort and inform me smugly, “Hey Izzy, yeah, come on now – I so would not do that.” I think my favorite experience with this was during one thread with Abbie, brilliantly portraying Remus. Just some background information for some that may not know: Bella had found out (through trickery) that Remus (her boyfriend) was a werewolf. Disclaimer: I had permission for her to find out. Anyways, during the first conversation she had with Remus after she learned about his werewolf-ism she flipped out. I say she deliberately, because I virtually had no say in the matter. This post here, I had been about half way into the third paragraph and started typing out a different version then what’s posted, when very loudly Bella laughed and told me she’d never remain as calm as I was instructing her to be. I wanted her to be a little bit more smooth then what ended up happening. However, she wasn’t having my cool and collected attitude – and thus, the final result would be Bella ripping her hands out from Remus’ and stomping across the room. She truly is my little baby, because in most situations Bella has the maturity level of a five year old. ;]
I do say this in the most loving way possible, however. Yes, I do in fact tease my own characters. Tease them as much as I talk to them. I personally just think it’s really funny, that Bella is so strong-minded even I – her “mother” we’ll say – can’t control her anymore. I know it sounds a little weird, but keep in mind if I really were anything lower then sane I’d be in a mental institution somewhere. Ha ha, Bella’s the one that was there, not me. XP Anyways, she’s definitely been my most rewarding character as far as getting to know her and developing her character. I’m very proud of her diary and love to update it as often as I can. It’s helped a lot with keeping her timeline in check, too. Aside from that, she’s the most – “well-known.” She’s been in a lot of different RPs, is what I mean to say. Out of all my characters, Bella knows the most people. As an RPer, that’s really exciting for me because it gives me a lot of options as far as threads go. I’m not exactly sure how Bella became such a widely ranged character, but I’m 100% pleased with the results. =)
Ah…words can not express my love for Rab. He’s my B.A. punk-rock Slytherin with an ego too big to fit his own pants. He’s so completely opposite of my own personality that it makes it easy and hard to play him all at once. Easy, because he is far more outgoing then I could ever be and therefore is able to do what I can’t. It’s not that difficult to decide what is “in character” for Rabastan, because it’s what would be considered “out of character” for me. This also makes it hard to RP him though, because he does things I wouldn’t so I can’t draw from my own experiences to use in his posts. Everything about Rab is fictional in my world. He’s pretty much high on himself, as to quote his celebrity Mr. Pete Wentz. I think he was a good choice to use for Rab even though it is a Canon role – in ways, the two are sort of similar (not to bash Pete ♥). I can find amazing muse for Rab while listening to Fall Out Boy. Anyways, I was hesitant to take on Rabastan as a character at first but now I couldn’t see myself without him. While I was writing his application I really got to see inside his head, see what makes him tick. Needless to say I’m pleased I’ve been able to keep that with me over time.
I think the best bit of advice I could give someone to understanding Rabastan is this: never underestimate the boy. He’s about as extreme as extreme can get. If he’s angry, the whole world knows it. He’ll snap out at any body walking by and cuss so foully not even his own mother would want to wash out his mouth. Usually he’s got something to vent about, whether it be his brother or girl troubles or his professor gave him even more homework which he so obviously can’t do because he needs to spend that valuable time messing around with his hair. Duh. I mean, who doesn’t know that, right? lol. That’s one thing to be noted, too: Rab is very anal. He needs to have things his way or he isn’t happy. A classic example: running his fingers through his bangs out of habit. While I did steal this from Pete’s real habit of doing so (he does it all the time – watch him in an interview if you don’t believe me), I also picked this trait for Rab because of a more creator-character reasoning. Rabastan must know what’s going on around him at all times. If he doesn’t, he freaks out. So to embed that further into his character he’ll play with his hair because it’s something he has constant control over. No one else can make his bangs do something. I know it’s a little far-fetched to some people, but that’s how I see it. On the opposite end of the spectrum, Rabastan can also be really sweet (despite common belief). He takes loyalties very seriously, so what real friends he has he holds close to (his blackened) heart.
Hmm…so, my closing thoughts on Rabastan… Well, if you haven’t already gathered this: FOB’s music is a main drive for his muse. It’s remarkable how much fills up my mind by a single line in a verse. It gives me good ideas for his journal and stuff. (I’m big on the diary/journal thing.) For example, “I Don’t Care.” I think that song hits Rab’s personality squarely. Because at the end of the day, Rab could care less who’s thinking about him, what they’re saying about him, or if they love him or hate him: he merely enjoys knowing that you’re thinking about him at all. He’s a glutton for attention in any form. That’s why he’s very direct with everything he does. Rabastan really doesn’t stand crap from anybody. If there’s going to be crap tossed around, it’ll be coming from his mouth. (All part of his obsessive need to have things his way.) Basically, that’s Rab in a nut shell. He’s just a big, obnoxious Slytherin that likes to pick on other people and spend time with his comrades. And let’s not forget his cynical sense of humor. ;P
For Jake, I wanted something different. I already had the crazy teenage girl, and the big bad boy – how could I complete the character family I was trying to create? My first idea was to create a girl that fell somewhere in-between Bella and Rab – but how was that “different”? I would get bored with her and I didn’t want that. So I decided a boy was the better option, and jokingly suggested I name him Jacob Edwards (again a reference to the Twilight Saga, using both the guys I love but placing Jake as the first name because he was my favorite; he could have easily been Edward Jacobs.) Giving it thought, I determined there was no other name I would be comfortable using and thus, Jacob Lee Edwards was born! (The middle name “Lee” has nothing to do with the Twilight Saga, I just thought it sounded good.) Still, I wanted something to set him apart from the rest. I’m in ASL at school, so I thought – “hey, how neat would it be to have a deaf character?” I blinked and suddenly Jacob’s personality and history field were filled! During his creation period, I came up with the idea to have him be skilled in Legilimency and Occlumency – it would serve as a purpose for him to be able to communicate with others, because most wouldn’t know sign. His application is my favorite because it was so different to write. While he’s still sort of new to ISS, Jake is finding his place one silent step at a time.
For the obvious reasons, Jake can be really hard for me to RP sometimes because I physically have to place myself in the shoes of a deaf person. Like I mentioned I’m learning ASL (I’m in my second year) but as far as knowledge goes, I’m still a huge novice. Every day I’m learning something I didn’t know before, which helps to develop Jake’s personality. I enjoy RPing him though because it’s a step out of my comfort zone. Jake challenges me and makes me work to understand him. I’m not quite sure if I’ll ever reach that point (he could have a multiple-personality disorder I don’t know about or something) but I’m having fun trying to get there.
Now, Jake has insisted I post these two videos so that you could get a glimpse into his world. They are by a deaf group known as D-PAN, The Deaf Performing Artists Network. D-PAN is a rising generation in the deaf community proving that hearing people are not the only ones that can enjoy music.

Today it was brought up by dearest Najooj, due to Olivia’s latest involvement with Jake, that I had never really been clear about what exactly Jake could and could not do as far as his “mind reading” capabilities were concerned. And thus, Jake is so special that he gets to have two posts in this thread instead of one, aha. I’ve tried my best to make sure whatever was going on was explained thoroughly in posts, but since the entire world hasn’t RPed with me (XD) I figured it might be kind of nice to just have it all written down in here. SOME HISTORY !

The first idea to “fix” Jacob’s deafness was to magically deal with the problem. There had to be some spell out there that could help a guy hear properly, right? His parents would have liked to think so, but that thinking proved false when it was stated Jake’s hearing could be permanently impaired to total deafness if his ear was tampered with. Doctors suggested using a hearing aid, but informed the Edwards that even that wouldn’t enable Jacob to ever speak. While Jake learned to use sign, he was also taught the special skill of Legilimency – it helped for him to understand the people around him, because he can’t hear people talking. But through his power he could get impressions of the feelings around him. From learning how to sign at a very young age, he was taught Legilimency also and by the time he was ten Jake was practiced well in the art. He was still very foreign when you consider the greatness of ability, but for being so little he was doing well. He still practices when he goes home for the summer and tries to pick up what he can through books, but even with all this work it was only a few months ago he was able to hear a specific thought instead of just a feeling. Jacob continues to harness his learned skill and hopes to one day excel in both Legilimency and Occlumency, though he isn’t too partial to the latter because the idea of learning the trade is to allow thoughts in, not keep them out.

Jake hears his own thoughts. Duh. And that is, for the most part, all he hears. This is of course, unless he’s actually paying attention to someone else’s thoughts. (Explained in detail later.) Or, if he’s just generally poking around, he just hears quiet thoughts, like a buzz, from the other people around him. Now I’ve done my best to do all the background work I can with the rules of Legilimency and Occlumency and to my knowledge normally you can’t hear someone’s thoughts unless you’re actually wanting to do so. However, this is how I’ve RPed with it and my justification makes sense for Jake’s specific case. What justification, might you ask? This one: because Jake is naturally more observant then other people (a side effect to his deafness) it’s automatic for him to always being “listening in” without meaning to. It’s how he finds comfort in the world around him. He doesn’t intrude on other people’s minds to try and pry out their deepest, darkest secrets, but rather just to get an understanding of what is going on around him. So, I suppose you could say he’s always “listening” but he won’t actually “hear” anything unless focused on one, specific person.
SO WHAT DOES HE “HEAR” ?
Jake works with the cognitive mind. This means that he can only hear things that you are thinking right then. He can not take a dive in someone’s memory bank and look around your childhood memories. He can only hear what you’re thinking about at the current time. It’s important to note that he does not hear actual thoughts (like compete sentences) unless trying hard to achieve that specifically. While he might be considered a native with Legimency, he’s still working on hearing real thoughts. I know in thread’s he’s accomplished this but that’s because he’s practicing it, lol. Most normally he just sees pictures of what someone is thinking about. He just sort of “steps into your shoes” and sees the world as you perceive it. One more thing about his hearing is that some people are “louder” then others. The most common example I can give you is Jackie and Ethan (since Jake’s been in threads with them). For Jackie, she thinks really “loud.” Jake doesn’t have to be paying that close attention to her and he’s still able to get decent images of what’s running through her head. Ethan, on the other hand, is a “quiet” thinker. Jake has to be putting some effort into listening to what Ethan’s thinking, instead of just “overhearing” it.
CAN I “TALK” TO JAKE ?
The easiest example for this is Jake and his sister, Jenna. In case you haven’t ever looked over any of Jake’s threads, he’s capable of “talking” to people. I know he’s deaf, but I’m not talking about speaking with his mouth. Instead, he can “project” thoughts to someone and they can “project” thoughts back to him. Please note you can not project thoughts to Jake unless you know he can hear you. You have to know he’s skilled with Legimency before trying to talk to him mentally. He can have conversations with Jenna because she knows about his ability. So, when you’re actually, purposefully trying to focus on just talking in your head instead of the general thoughts that go on while you’re just talking to someone regularly, only then are you able to “talk” with Jake. (Please note that the more he talks to people, the more “familiar” their voice becomes. He could pick Jenna out of a crowded room almost instantly because they’ve been talking since Jake first started learning. Someone who Jake has never heard before would take more work to listen to.) This is also how he hears what I call “real thoughts.” So, if someone were to think “Wow, that’s an ugly shirt” and Jake was consciously putting effort into hearing you, he would hear “Wow, that’s an ugly shirt” instead of just seeing a mental picture of the shoes you consider ugly and feeling your disgust for them.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN, “FEELING” ?
Like I said, Jake sees pictures. Because he’s deaf, that is something he’s naturally going to pick up on instead of words. It’s a true fact that deaf people are way more perceptive to sight then hearing people are. Because one of their senses has been taken away, the others have not “gotten better,” but rather the person themselves has just become more reliant on the other senses that they do have. Say for example Jake were walking around through a super-crowded carnival. To him, that would be a “noisy” place even though he can’t hear the sound of the rides or the people talking around him. Because of the bright colors and how much movement there is around him, it would be “loud.” On the opposite end of the spectrum, if he were in the common room studying or something, with only a few other people, then it would be a “quiet” place. Little movement would distract him, so it’d, again, be a quiet area. So, if it’s “noisy” around him it’s harder to pay attention to someone’s thoughts and with just general activities of the day around him it’d be easier to hear another’s thoughts. Now, what does that have to do with “feeling” anything? Again, Jake sees in pictures. So, back to the shoe example, he’d feel your disgust for the shoes because that’s what you’re thinking about. You see the shoes; you think they’re ugly. That’s how your mind will perceive them. Being well developed in image-reading just means he’s capable of feeling what you’re feeling. He can “read emotions,” in short.
CONCLUSION ! Whew, and there you have it, folks. Five paragraphs all dedicated to understanding Jake. (Sorry it’s such a long read, lmao. I’m happy you’ve made it this far if you’re still reading. Ta da! The great unveiling of Jason Kay, woo, yeah, yippee! *Claps* Alright well I for one was excited. XD I’ve had this guy’s account since – what, February? And I only just now got his app up, lmao. Anyways now that I’ve got my characters (I’m hoping/praying/wishing) finalized I can finally happily say that J is a living, breathing character. =D He enjoys life, let me tell you. So, one of the biggest things I can give to you about J here that, really, only I would know unless I told you, is that I actually know someone named Jason Kay. Ahaha sneaky, sneaky Izzy. ;] We always tease him about his initials, since they do in fact spell out JK. I can’t honestly tell you why J came to be… I was looking up pictures of Brendon for something (who knows, maybe I was just bored, lol) and then I started thinking about what his name would be and it just kind of…fell together. You know how you just get those ideas and then they won’t leave you alone? J was one of those, most definitely. He’s somebody I’ve never really had much um – experience RPing? Granted, I did give him certain qualities, as always, that reflect my own personality.
Let’s start with the OCD thing, shall we? Hehe. I’m sure you’ve noticed just how particular I am with how things look. I’ve a very uniformal person (P.S. – I just discovered “uniformal” isn’t a word but I’m using it anyways. xP) So, if something doesn’t look good it like…drives me nuts, for lack of a better wording. Seriously you probably would die if you knew me for reals – I drive all my friends crazy, heh. I decided it was about time I instill that kind of neat freak quality in one of my characters and J sort of just – screamed it. I actually listened to Panic! at the Disco for one day solid, picking out lyrics for him before I ever wrote his application. I’d heard a certain line and be like “ah, yup – that works” or hear something and it’d be like “oh my God, that will fit into his personality somewhere!” I believe the “I’m a diva” line was what got me first started on his whole theatre background. Since P!ATD is naturally a very theatrical band I wanted to be able to use that for J, and it kind of gave me an excuse for him to have this OCD problem of sorts. If he grew up having everything just perfect, fitting all his ways and whatnot, then it was understandable for him to have acquired this kind of “me, me!” attitude. He’s used to things the way he wants them. If they aren’t up to par with his standards, he’ll let you now and demand you fix them. It’s just the way things go, lol.
Now, there is kind of one last thing I could mention about him except I know I’m about to get a lot “Oh my God, Izzy you would”s and “Okay, are you being serious right now?”s. Ahaha it’s my guilty pleasure, what can I say? The fact I’m referring to is, of course, that J grew up in Chicago. Now in my defense I’ve always wanted to go to the East coast because like nothing ever happens over here. And, truth be told, Chicago is very famous for it’s whole artistic vibe (and crime and snowage and dirty streets but hey we’re focusing in the positives, ha ha) and anyways…it also happens to be Pete’s hometown. =P [Cue the rolling of eyes and dramatic sighs.] So there you have it – my three reasons for J being born in Chicago. Mmm…I don’t think there’s any other auh-mazing insider facts I can tell you about J right now, I mean, even though I’ve spent a whole month keeping him to myself he’s still my newest baby and slowly being figured out still. xD Hopefully you’ll like him as much as I do? ^^;; And hey, either way I enjoy him and that’s all that really matters. ;P

Meet Joe! Yes, a girl named Joe. Full name, Josephine DeLeon. Her entire name selection is perhaps most fascinating out of all my characters, so let me tell you why I think so. Once upon a time Izzy was walking down an isle in a store and she heard someone (probably the mom?) telling a little girl, “Come back here, Katy Joe!” Instantly I was like “Katy Joe? That’s kind of a funny name.” Then I got started on thinking about how funny it would be if there was a girl named Joe. Joe turned into Josephine and just like that, Joe was born! Her last name was actually decided because of a band member. I was looking through a list of last names and saw “De Leon” and thought of Alex DeLeon, of The Cab (lead singer). I was sold then, deciding she’d officially be Josephine DeLeon and further stole names off Alex by using his name for Joe’s dad and her sister, Sophia, was named after Alex’s little sister Sophia! Bet you didn’t know so much thought and hidden meaning could go into a single name, now did you?! Mwahaha Izzy’s super sneaky that way. (If you haven’t figured it out by now, there’s always secret meaning’s behind my character’s names; you’ve just got to be smart enough to figure them out. [; Except Rab, since he’s canon, lmao.) I bet you also didn’t know I could spend a whole paragraph just talking about someone’s name, much less that you’d ever sit here and read one. :| Let’s move on!
My favorite thing about her perhaps is the fact that she’s an animagus. When I originally came up with the idea I was going to have her be a bird of some kind, but that was more Dakota’s thing (*sniffles*) so then I started thinking about other animals that wouldn’t stick out around Hogwarts. Her personality very much so didn’t fit that of an owl and I wasn’t about to make her a rat. In the end, obviously, I decided on a cat and then the whole feline thing became a big thing for her. Her patronus is a lioness, she owns a little kitten named Jinx, and then she turns into a Himalayan cat. Plus, she ended up in Gryffindor! It all seemed to fit perfectly together without any conscious though on my end. I own two cats (as you may or may not know?) and I’ve role played for Warriors before (cat RPG’s based off a book series) so…I guess what I’m saying is that I’m not intimidating my accurately describing what it’s like to be a cat, lol. I’m super excited about all the trouble she can get into, since I plan on having only a few select number of people know about her ability (though she is legally registered). She’s big on exploring and stuff, so it should be fun having her roam around the castle undiscovered, haha.
Let’s see here, what else can I tell you…well, as you may (/not?) know, she won over me bringing in Dakota to ISS. I’d have my four characters and all of them have staked a tent in the depths of my little heart so…I just couldn’t get rid of any of them. D: And then I had this random fifth spot. I kept coming up with characters and filling out applications, but I never posted any. I kept telling myself I didn’t have enough time and it’d be a mistake. Well, maybe Joe’s a mistake but I’m doing it anyways. I don’t like having empty space to a character. Inevitably I find someone to fill it. Hilary Duff was kind of an impulsive face claim for Joe. I’d thought about using her before, but then E (<3) took her and I was just kind of like “Ah, wasn’t meant to be.” But then E left…and, well, you know…one thing led to another… >> …and yeah, lol. Love me or hate me, but Hilary got me hooked from Lizzie McGuire and I’ve remained a loyal fan since! She’s apart of my childhood and all that sappy stuff. More about Joe…mmm…she’s a girl! If that wasn’t apparent, bahahaha. I’ve had more boys than girls over my course at ISS I believe, and I really wanted someone a bit more…ah…level headed, we’ll say. Bella’s fun and all but she’s committed in more than one way. xD I wanted someone more, hrm, “free” than that. So Joe’s a bit outspoken and stuff. Bit more sensible, but still with a fun edge. Thanks again to everyone that helped me out and voted for which character to bring on. Hope she doesn’t disappoint. (:

For those of you who don’t know, I’ve gone through a lot of character changes during the course of my time here on ISS. These characters were only with us for a short time. I either lost muse for them, some other grand idea came along, their plots died out…whatever’s. However, they had their time and it was fun while it lasted. They each hold a special, little piece of my heart. <3 In memory to them, the following are characters past:

I mean, magic wand, dragons? You don’t just go walking down the street and watch a broom go by. RPing a huge hobby of mine and a definite passion. I would like to think I’ll never stop, and even if the time comes that I do need to, I will always continue writing. Who knows? Maybe someday you’ll see a Number One Best Seller on the racks, compliments of yours truly?
